Best & friendliest service
5/5

Kambona & company have the most professional & traveler friendly organization. They bend over backwards to make sure everyone is comfortable, and also do everything in their power to accommodate last minute changes. I would recommend everyone to go through Africa VIP for Kilimanjaro or Serengeti excursions as they are the best!

Unique experience
5/5

Despite some bad weather this was a unique experience for us. The lodges that Peter had chosen for us, were all in perfect condition. The Ark was just a bit disappointing: small rooms, lots of noise, little information, few animals (probably due to the weather). The safari itself was what we had hoped for, thanks to the excellent driver Martin. Apart from a leopard and a rhino, we have seen about all the animals. Ontdek Kenya Safaris had taken our conditions into account in the planning (in our fifties, and we like to have a certain degree of comfort), and minor adjustments were still possible, especially since we were with our guide only. In summary: excellent service, very good friendly guide, unique experience we will not soon forget!

Africa VIP made us feel like VIP's!
5/5

Let me start by saying my wife and I do not considers ourselves outdoor people. We don't camp. However, Kilimanjaro has been on my bucket list for years. When the opportunity presented itself, we had to go. Since we were going halfway around the world, we added a safari as well. From the moment we contacted Kambona and Africa VIP we knew we had picked the right company. He provided easy to use guides for gear and what to expect on the mountain and the Serengeti.
The guides on the mountain, Adamson, Siaidi, Alan and Kambona and all the porters made sure we were comfortable, well fed and safe as the guided us on our attempt to the summit. They seemed to know how to get and keep us motivated. They have great stories, shared their experiences and wanted us to succeed. They did a great job of controlling what they could and because of them, our group of 9, all successfully reached the peak. An incredible experience.
The safari was breathtaking. Our drivers, James, Amarula and Issac were so knowledgable about the animals and plants it was scary. With 12 people and 3 vehicles we all took turns with all 3 drivers. We were able to cover a lot of territory and see a lot of animals and birds. Lions, including 13 cubs at one stop, 2 males after a kill and a mother with 3 cubs. Elephants with calves. Hippos, hippos, hippos. Lots of giraffe, some 6 feet from the jeep. As the animals were getting ready for the great migration, we saw thousand upon thousand wildebeest, zebra and gazelles. Pictures or words cannot describe the sight of all these animals in every direction. We saw cheetahs and leopards. Buffalo, hyenas and and many different deer. I can't even begin to name all the birds. Kambona's camp crew was as awesome as the rest of his staff. We had huge tents right in the Serengeti. We could hear animals at night. Hot showers daily. The meals were great. A nightly fire and cold beer. On top of that it was educational, too. While this whole group was adults, I would not hesitate to bring my family.
I have not mentioned the lodges Kambona selected for us. They were all wonderful. The Dik Dik, Safari Lodge and Bougainvillea. The staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. Food was good. We had wifi. However, it was great going 2 weeks with very little cell phone and internet service. We could just focus on the adventure. Africa VIP, Kambona (including his wife and son), and ALL his staff (for us, we spent a lot of time with James and think highly of him) were involved in us having a successful and rewarding experience. You don't always find that, but we did. I highly recommend them and hope for their continued success!

Outstanding Attention to Detail
5/5

From initial contact through the final drop-off at the airport, Safari Makers provided outstanding service.
Our driver, Joseph Saleko listened carefully to our desires and tailored each day to provide the maximum experiences. The Wilderness camps we stayed at were ecologically friendly, but catered to our every need. Beds were clean, fresh, and comfortable. Food was plentiful, nutritious, made use of local produce, hot, prompt, and delicious. All service was given with friendly concern for our comfort. Early mornings were no problem, and we loved sitting at the campfire gazing at the stars listening to the animals nocturnal activity. Joseph had excellent English, and knew each animal and botanical feature extensively. I loved that he gave information when it was requested, but didn't talk our ears off. We had such a wonderful time. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for anyone looking for the trip of a lifetime.

It was very easy to book with Tracksberg and they created a custom itinerary for us and arranged everything with no hassle. Great driver and an amazing cook who came with us on safari, we had a perfect time in Meru National Park. Extremely good prices. Everything surpassed expectations.

No other tour company would have done it any better!
5/5

Imran is very good with responding to emails with booking and any other questions you may have. The driver Nourdin was already waiting at the airport upon arrival. The hotels provided in the itinerary exceeded our expectations. The transportation went smoothly, the car is very big and comfortable. Nourdin very good with spotting animals and is very knowledgable about each of them. We were lucky to have Imran and another staff member Mickey join us for the entire trip. This made our safari even more fun. They were very helpful and attentive to our needs.

The most wonderful experience
5/5

In January 2014 we had the special opportunity to take part with a safari trip. We have visited three parks, along with the owner and a guide. Two people with years of experience on safari area.
We visited three parks. The first Park was Tangarie with its lush vegetation, Then the exceptional Tangarie Ngorongoro Crater with its remarkable views and rare animals and birds and at last visited Lake Manyara. The nights were like in a film set. The Olea Africana Lodge and The manor Ngorongoro Lodge. A unique experience. The beautiful olive trees and vast coffee plantations. This is partly thanks to our dear friend and owner of this Safari Company Tarloch Pownall.

An outstanding, unique, expedition support team that goes the extra distance !
5/5

AES is a small company, with highly skilled and very experienced staff who we would fully recommend. From their amazing "bush mechanics" to Debs at HQ , nothing was too difficult ...even agreeing to let our two children 11&12 participate on the Cairo to Cape expedition (where no other company would). Our "safari" was extraordinary, we had the most wonderful 4 months driving through some of the most interesting and diverse countries. Communications were very good, Debs is a wealth of knowledge on everything Africa and we always felt particularly safe and informed. Steve our mechanic was an absolute gem, his kindness to our children will always be remembered as will his spectacular stories and of course his expertise. We would return in a heart beat for another adventure with this terrific company. Oh and the food was fabulous too !

Simply the best!
5/5

We are still talking about this amazing safari to everyone and anyone who is interested. I must say we have travelled extensively and we always said Alaska was the best trip of our lives, but Botswana out did it. Once again it was brilliant and thank you for all you did for us.
