Excellent but crowded
Overall rating
4/5

The Ngorongoro Crater offers both amazing experiences and large crowds due to its smaller size. It's one of the best places in Tanzania to see rhinos, and in general the wildlife is very accustomed to vehicles so you can get a close view of interesting behavior. On the downside, everyone makes it a stop on their safari, so it can get quite busy. We had a rhino near the road on our trip, and I counted at least 35 vehicles jockeying for position to see it. Certainly not a feeling of being out in the wilderness!

Seamless experience making a holiday into the unknown a dream!
5/5

Booking a holiday to South Africa sitting in London can be a daunting experience. It's a huge country with so much to do, and many unknowns. I was recommended TravelForLife by a friend in London, and they are part of the reason why we had the holiday of a lifetime, and are now considering a wedding back in the winelands.

We entrusted TFL with our whole holiday. We simply said how many days we wanted to spend in each region with a certain budget (4 in Cape Town, 3 in Stellenbosch, 4 safari) and left the rest up to them. What we got in return was a schedule meeting our every need, from quality, affordable hotels to pre arranged car hire and taxi rides from the Airport to the safari.

The safari itself was an unreal experience. Yes the journey from J'Borg is 4+ hours! But it is worth every minute especially when organised by TFL. We landed at the airport with a driver waiting, all pre paid. The safari lodge was simply 5 star (Motswiri) and the service was impeccable.

I cannot recommend TFL highly enough. I may even entrust them with organising chunks of my wedding! Don't spend hours looking trip advisor for hotels and safaris. Tell the TFL experts exactly what you want, and they'll find it for you. Sit back and relax and enjoy this amazing country.

Jay, from London

No words to say how much they were exelleent, superb serivce!!!
5/5

The staff of Saraficare is excellent in all aspects from the very first chat I had with them, Mr. Kamal, Travel Consultant, 00255 659382382 - a great gentleman, to until we departure from the Dar Es Salam Airport.

They are really professional and highly reliable and gave us end to end Personal- care from their authentic Safari-care hospitality.

Our Guide; Mr. Mollel, or Mr. Captain, 00255 786 373938, is a marvelous character; he is real gent and great brother to us at the end of eight days - we all missed him- mainly our kids missed him.

In over all we felt that Safaricare and their staffs are not businessmen but friends of their clients.
They are well trained, professional; and all above they are committed to deliver maximum services to their customers.

I have no second thoughts or hesitation to refer them, recommend them or use them again and again...

Great Country and Great People I met out of my 35 plus countries that I have travelled.

Great Guides, Great Crew and a Perfect Vacation with Natureways Safaris
5/5

My friend and I recently did the Odyssey Safari 6-night Package with Natureways. We canoed with Craig and Elijah for 2 days, and stayed at Camp Zambezi for 3 more days. It was my first time canoeing in long distance and Craig and Elijah made sure that everything was calm and safe for me. They were very attentive and protective. The trip itself was also very educational as I learned so much about wild animals and their behaviors, plants, flowers, birds, trees, soil, and African culture. The four of us chatted every night at dinner about world cultures and exchanged thoughts and points of view. We had an amazing crew and not only did they cook delicious meals every day, they also went out of their way and baked us a cake and got us a bottle of Amarula! The crew was polite, efficient, punctual and effective and under the great leadership of Craig and Elijah. I especially enjoyed our daily walk in the wilderness to track down animals based on their footprints, and getting up close and personal with lions and elephants! The most amazing thing was that the whole trip made me rethink about my role as a human being with nature and animals, and what I can to do to support and protect our ecosystem. This realization couldn't have happened without this amazing educational trip given by Natureways Safari. Thank you guys! You rock!

Best trip ever !
5/5

If you want to be certain that you don't have to worry about anything- Go with Experience Uganda ! Kevin is always available and goes above and beyond to look after you. Everything from communication to service was outstanding and exceeded my expectations. I was greeted warmly and sincerely at Karibu guest house, an oasis
to be sure- really lovely and peaceful place. The staff are kind and generous and make you feel at home. I had the lavender room which was in a tranquil setting of gardens and birds. The food was amazing also, very fresh and delicious! Kevin had tailored a trip for me designed according to my wishes. After I had settled in we sat down to chat and go over the itinerary so I would know what to expect and in case I had any new questions. Everything was thoroughly detailed so I was able to relax and enjoy my stay without any cares. That's a gift in itself ! --Then-- I had the most fabulous adventure ! After traveling across Uganda in a small plane low enough to view the beautiful country, I was transferred over lush mountains, passing lakes and farmlands to a wonderful village outside of the Bwindi Forest headquarters. I stayed at a scenic boma in my own banda and participated at the the local school with music and dance. After visiting a pygmy group, I trekked back to the boma site for a nice dinner. Early next morn I trekked to the briefing site and hiked to the most amazing experience one can have- an encounter with a gorilla family. Every person who has done this says how completely meaningful it is but all the superlatives can't do it justice. Words cannot express how wondrous and joyous it feels !
I can't Thank Kevin and all that were involved enough! -in making it happen -my dream come true !

perfectly organized safari tour in north of Tanzania
5/5

We had the best time for our honeymoon in Tanzania thanks to the Galloping Safari! At the beginning we were impressed of the communication provided by Walter, the owner. He replied to each email less than 24hrs, he is responsive to our requests and tried his best to cater our needs, our itinerary and our budget.
The 7 days safari, which included the Tarangire Treetops, Plantation Lodge, Four seasons Serengeti and the Lemala camp in Ngorongoro Crater have fulfilled our dream to stay in a treehouse, in a Lodge, in a wonderful high-end Four seasons Lodge and last but not least an experience for a glamour camping (very cold in high altitude however bucket shower with warm water was available!). For the night before and after our Tour, Kamao Hotel in Arusha was sufficient, clean and good deal.
We were accompanied by Joshua throughout our trip. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and drives very careful. We are lucky to have him as our Guide. The Jeep used was comfy enough had air con and electricity plug socket to recharge our gadgets. We had no car break down or any problem with the tires during our 7 days.
We continued our trip with relaxing-stay in Zanzibar, the hotel was booked through a german-holiday website because the price offered was unbeatable. However, Walter was kind enough to organize the flight from Arusha airport to Zanzibar and also the pick up service to and from ZNZ Airport to our hotel. The car was luxurious Toyota van with professional driver, i wish i knew better before and would have booked our sightseeing trip for Zanzibar from them.
We did the hot air balloon safari in Serengeti, it was also an experience for a lifetime. The price quoted by Walter is slightly cheaper than the price offered from our Lodge, this is definitely a + point.
We requested to Galloping Safari to visit a Maasai village, after experience the village itself, i feel that we shouldn't have to. It is very commercialized and you feel like you are pushed to buy their overpriced stuff as donation. I've heard also the Maasai who operated this kind of village would also charge the tour operator to pay for the visit. Its your choice then to do this itinerary or not, i'd say skip it.
Finally, the trip couldn't have been better, it is definitely THE Honeymoon we won't forget. We are very satisfied with the service provided by Walter and Joshua, definitely will book the next Tanzania tour from them.

a wonderful and unexpected surprise, a unique experience!
5/5

Encounter Africa is a great choice for safari and gorilla tracking trip.
They have flexible packages, affordable prices, excellent organization and professional staff.
I went with two friends for one week discovering Uganda including Bwindi forest and we never stopped marveling. I personally had the opportunity to visit national parks in Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa which are wonderful but Uganda and especially the experience with the gorillas was an unpredictable and unique discovery, thanks to our driver and guide Joseph, he is a fantastic person with sense of humor, able to make the trip very special because he is extremely knowledgeable on the history, culture and wildlife of the country, with him you cannot get bored.
I can say that Joseph was the best guide I've had during my safari in Africa.
I recommend to go and discover Uganda!

Great time!!
5/5

My first trip with Africa Flash Mc Tours was to Amboseli National Park. We had a fantastic three days there. The hotel was great! Cyrus was amazing and the Park speaks for itself. Cyrus knew where to take us on any giving day to see the animals. Peter himself came to our place to introduce us to the driver. That was a nice personal touch. Everything went well! So much so, I planned another trip with them immediately after.
