Perfect Tanzania tour!
5/5

I was amazed with the beautiful nature and the wild animals in Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Eyasi. I had the opportunity to meet the most happy people with the 3 tribes. With my skillfull, frendly and patient driver/guide Martin I had the best safari ever, he really knew where to find all the animals. I felt safe and secure all the way with him. I'm thanking the manager, Joao Oliver for arranging this fabulous once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommended!:D As a chef so I really appreciated the cooking class with the boys, simply amazing! It was totally funny and great with mountain bike tour as well, do it, yes!

Amazing 6 day safari
5/5

Visiting Africa was on my fathers bucketlist and I'm glad to have booked with wild Root Safaris. It's hard to choose a selling point as there are so many: competence, friendliness, professionalism and the list continues! We booked a 6 day personalised trip with an additional walking safari in Tarangire NP, everything we asked for was arranged, no wishes unattended. If you are looking for an affordable safari with a professional operator.... I would defenitely recommend Wild Root!

Wildlife right at our door, a well serviced safari
5/5

Its great to go to a place for once which is not as hot as where we live. We wanted a bit of a mix in that we knew what to expect in Botswana but were unfamiliar about the areas.

Safari Lifestyles came back with several options as to where to stay and gave us the opportunity to see copious amounts of leopards and lions on game drives (we didn't expect to get so close), but we also spend quite a lot of time on the water and even did some fishing. Being quite tired after our flight we were met by them at the airport and quickly flown into camp which was the start of a gorgeous tour.

You soon learn to relax and just enjoy the wildlife although I would say that the crocs aren't as big as ours! We had no problems at all and Roger even met us at the airport again when we finished. He has also kept in touch with us.

We really had a great time and would say that everything was very well organised.

Amazing wildlife and beautiful stay
Overall rating
4/5

From the dawn to the dusk, it is always possible and easy to see wildlife. Everyday something happens, everyday is a new day in the bush. The great thing of madikwe is that rangers and land rover could go "off road" to approach wildlife ! So great for pictures and feel bush vibes !

Review about Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park by Grey World Nomads
Overall rating
4/5

Kgalagadi is a unique destination, a game park in a arid region. The wildlife is spectacular, albight the absence of elephants, crocodiles and hippos. Therefore there are stunning sightings of cats. The road infrastructure is fair and the camps have everything you need - from accommodation to food.

Review about Addo Elephant National Park by Grey World Nomads
Overall rating
3/5

The park is not huge and can easily be done with in two days. Plenty of wildlife, especially elephant and also the bird life is great. Addo for me doesn't quite have the real "bush" feeling about it. It isn't the bushveld, but has its own unique feel. If or when it can be linked to the two other sections of the Greater Addo, namely the coastal section and the mountains stretching into the Baviaanskloof, then we are talking of a great park.

Best place on earth
Overall rating
5/5

We have spent six weeks in the Kruger National Park and we enjoyed it immensely. There is no shortage of wildlife. You are more than likely to see the big five here than in any other national park. The infrastructure is excellent and all forms of accommodation are available from the luxury safari lodges to the simple hut or camping. All camps have restaurants and have well-stocked shops. Activities like guided bush drives, wilderness trails, bush walks, 4x4-trails and selfdrive make all part of the vast amount of possibilities to spend an unforgettable time in the Kruger National Park.

The northern half of the Kruger is less busy than the southern part. It's recommendable not to visit the park during South African holiday season as the it is also hughely popular with South African Citizens. As far as the climate goes, any time is possible. For game viewing winter is better, as the animals can't hide in the tall grass so well and they are likely to be seen at the waterholes because of the draught. If your stay is longer than a week or you want to visit other National Parks within your holidays, check if it's worth to buy the wildcard, which gives you deals and allows free entry to almost all of the parks in South Africa.

The reason why we return again and again is not just for the wildlife but also for the sheer beauty and size of the Park. Above all it's affordable, even for people on a shoestring budget.

Review about Masai Mara National Reserve by Vinay
Overall rating
5/5

I don't have to say much about Masai Mara. It is the perfect safari experience and is good in all aspects. Spend as much time as possible here. Preferably end your safari trip in Masai Mara. Stay in a resort that in inside the gate of the park.
