Tanzania with its natural beaty cannot be missed. The views in Ngorongoro and Tarangire were amazing. The island of Zanzibar is also a very beatiful place worth visiting especially for those who enjoy snorkling and scuba diving

About: Tanzania
great hikes and people on the mainland, unpleasant in touristy areas
Overall rating
3/5

people on the mainland were absolutely lovely and very friendly, in Zanzibar the experience was the opposite - very insolent and everyone treats you like a bag of money. terrible flight coordination - your boarding pass, airport schedule and actual departure time are completely unrelated, resulting in unexpected change of plans as you go

Late March 2024 I did a solo Safari with Soul of Tanzania to Serengeti and Ngorogoro. My driver, Losioki was the best I could have asked for. Very respectful and polite, and with an impressive ability to spot animals (because of him I was lucky enough to see a leopard!). Apart from that, People are very welcoming, services providers are well trained, and polite, you can trust them. As a solo woman traveler I felt safe. Right now, I wish a haven't had gone just to have this experience again.

About: Tanzania
A trip to Tanzania truly is a trip of a lifetime
Overall rating
5/5

Tanzania is a place where you feel most welcome the minute you step onto its African soil. The people are abundant in their warmth and are quick to let small talk turn into real conversations about their lives and families. The guides and the government show great care in how they manage the national parks, and it is evident in the conditions as you travel throughout these vast and diverse regions. I came to see the many animals of this land; but what I really saw was a place that needs to be felt and touched by shaking the dust off of your hat and feeling the winds blow across your neck - the adventure is so much more than what a safari might look like on the internet. From the shores of Zanzibar to the openness of the Serengeti; the land reaches into your heart and makes you realize that wherever you may be now, your true wish was that you were back there again. I truly thank the people of Tanzania, and my tour operator Ozon Light Tours for the memories and stories I'll have for my lifetime.

Serengeti is amazing. Its a beautiful park, amazing landscape, animals are respected and wildlife is there, in your face. I stayed in a camp inside the park and it was the best decision i could have made.

Intelligent and funny
5/5

Our safari was really amazing. Our guide was able to answer all our questions and tell us so many different & interesting facts about all the animals we got to see.
I will definitely recommend this tour to my family & friends if they ever think about coming here. It was definitely worth the money!

Intuition and empathy made our tour unforgettable
5/5

We booked the Arusha national park safari and the close encounter with giraffes and buffalos walking with a ranger was certainly a unique experience. But what strikjes me the most were the intuïtive and empatic skills of our guide Jakob. Because of that we saw a very long list of animals. He didn’t only spotted the animals in front of us, it was of he felt every animal beside us. Even those who were hidden deeper in the forest and were not immediately visiblewhen he pointed them out. The second reason this was a top experience was the senistivity for our needs. While my mother of 76 couldn’t walk very far, Jakob figured out a way she could still have a very nice experience without limiting the possibilities for the rest of the group. These guys go the extra mile for their clients. We woud definitely book with them again!

Great experience
4/5

We had the pleasure of traveling around Kenya with Jaz as our guide. It was a great experience, and having someone who is genuinely enthusiastic about photography and wildlife was fantastic, as it's the best way to learn and enjoy. This was clearly evident in our case. Additionally, our driver in Kenya was a good choice by Jaz, thanks to his experience and contacts in the country. It was comfortable spending time with such people, and we had fun and wonderful moments to remember.

Amazing Safari
5/5

Booked a 4 day safari with Dancing Simba for my family of 6 visiting Ngorongoro crater, Tanangerie NP, Lake Manyara NP, Materuni village & waterfall. What an amazing experience!!! Each park was different and Our guide Procous was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable and provided in depth info on all the wildlife, flora & fauna, of which we saw so much. The jeep was good and spacious even with 6 on board, and the pop up roof made animal spotting so much easier. The food was plentiful and delicious, served on china plates from aluminium pots whilst every other company appeared to provide their guests with food boxes, making us the envy of the picnic sites. Although not the main season, we saw just about every animal on our tick list including some amazing close up encounters with elephants and lions. I would strongly recommend Dancing Simba to anyone looking for a quality and authentic safari experience.
