Very good trip they made for me and good experience in helping me with my needs during my stay.
5/5

I got a nice 3 days camping to see Masai Mara Migration with this company. Well organized, always taking care of my trip and needs by the Manager of Ewamannssafaris. Also the driver Patrick was a professional guide. Erick took care of my hotel and pick up from bus station and airport as it was not safe for a lonely woman to walk alone in the city of Nairobi at night. He is very punctual, friendly and responsible about his clients. I am happy to choose this company on my trip in Kenya.

Tanzania Northern circuit safari
5/5

The tour was organised after discussion with Karibuworld staff (Ekram, Sona and Susai) who were very pro-active and provided use with lodging options while meeting my requirements to see all four national parks (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Manyara). The driver cum guide (Rizwan) was very knowledgeable, experienced and helpful. The lodges and tents were quite good and services including packed lunches were as per expectations. Rizwan was always on time and took us to the best spots at the parks.

We flew early morning from Dar to Kilimanjaro airport and it was amazing to see the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro bright and snowy in the sunlight welcoming us to the safari. Rizwan was there with his welcoming smile and helpful hands to brief us about the tour and then started the wonderful journey to explore the nature we had set out for.

We thoroughly enjoyed Tarangire, specially the great swamp on day 1. The tented lodge was amazing and we had breakfast next morning watching the elephants about 20 metres away. Ngorongoro was fabulous and he stay at the tented accomodation at the top of the crater was quite chilly, yet memorable. Elephants and buffaloes passed by and we could see a few bushbucks and imphalas near our camp. Serengeti needs no introduction and it met our expectation. Amongst the hoards of animlas, we were particularly impressed seeing a leapord with its baby on a tree with a kill, a few cheetahs and many many lions including a kill where the lioness catch a warthog. Living at the tented lodge inside the serengeti plains near the Kopjes was quite an experience. Lastly Manyara was amazing with lots of hippos, zebras and wildbest by the lake and the hot springs of the great rift valley. The manyara lodge was fantastic where we could relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the lovely view of the lake from the balcony of our tent. We went for a nature walk early morning with a masai and also came across a local Bulu singer with his native instrument who sand a melodious song for us.

We must have seen countless varieties of birds (eagles, bustards, vultures, ostriches, flamingoes, hornbills, storks, secretary birds and many small colourful variants) , big cats including lions, leapords and cheetahs, wildbeasts, zebras, giraffes, impalas, dik diks, bushbucks, hippos, rhinos, gazelles, anteplores, ostriches, varieties of monkeys, crocodies, mongooses and hyenas. The vast serengeti grasslands, the ngorongoro heights and crater, the tarangire baobabs and manyara green forest and lakeside were each fabulous and left us mesmerised with the nature's bounty we had never experienced before.

We also visited the Oldupai Gorge on route to Serengeti from Ngorongoro, which is the cradle of civilization. It is absolutely fantastic for geologists and people interested in human evolution. It has the replica of the original footprints of the huminids and a story around it. On the last day while returning from Manyara, we visited the Masai village which was a wonderful experience. We danced with them and saw their way of life including their houses and a school for the young kids. Then we visited the Meserani Snake park at Arusha that was a great experience. We could hold the snakes and tortoises in our hand and had a good guide who explained the charactereistic of each reptile also informed that it was the only place in Tanzania where antidotes were available for snakebite.

The exparience to see the great rift valley, the ridge of the Ngorongoro mountain range at one end going right upto lake Victoria is simply unbelievable. We could see the earth's beauty in all its elements, the mountain ranges, green tops, the crater, grasslands, rivers, lakes, huge baobabs and other trees, animals, birds, reptiles, butterflies and ants in massive anthills. Never coudl I imagine so much in such a short time.

Some of the best memories that we ever had were during this trip. Highly recommended.

Honeymoon trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar
5/5

We went on our honeymoon to Tanzania and Zanzibar. We spent 6 days in a Safari and 6 days chilling in Zanzibar. We had an awesome time! All of the trip was organized by It Started in Africa. They made very good suggestions and organized everything to the detail. Everybody at the company is very nice and all (from the driver to the office people) were constantly making sure we were having a great time.
In Tanzania we did Serengetti, Ngorongoro (tribe Maasai), Lake Eyasi (tribe Hadzabe), Lake Manyara. In Zanzibar we did Nungwi beach, Pongwe beach and Stone Town.

Exceeded expectations, in most aspects but not perfect.
4/5

We visited a tented camp in the Serengetti, then stayed at a very upmarket hotel to visit the Ngorongoro crater. The objective of the safari - interacting with the animals was definitely achieved with a considerable wow factor. Service was excellent, from the initial contact with Judith to the guides and staff at both locations. The tented camp is better than the fixed locations as a great experience. The hotel was disappointing in terms of value and the Ngorongoro part could have been structured better. Yes, I do recommend Asilia.

Monika was extremely helpful in preparing our trip in Zim. Her recommendations were perfect! Thanks
4/5

The selected lodges were fine, especially Miombo Lodge with its animated water pool, full of elephants & buffalos. Thanks Monika also for the reservation of the Isuzu Big Horn 4WD at a reasonable price. The whole trip worked out as planned. The Safari Source is a reliable company.

One item less on our bucket list...thanks to Kilele Savane
5/5

My buddy and I, ages 61 and 52, summited Mount Kilimanjaro on the 3rd October 2015 at 12h05...

We opted to book our trek via the Northern Circuit and in the most comfortable way possible, which required numerous details to be met before and during our trip, which Frank Mella attended to most reliably.

We are also incredibly grateful to our Guide John Lyimo, who came up with the most brilliant idea to veer away from the traditional midnight departure from camp on the summit night, in favour of leaving at first light the following morning! This did not only assist our ability to summit successfully, but further provided us with the unheard of pleasure of having Uhuru Peak completely to ourselves at midday!

Our team of 20 looked after us incredibly well and even sang us the Hakuna Matata song when we were a little dispirited from time to time, just to give us the courage to carry on.

All in all, this has been an awesome experience from start to finish and we are still trying to wipe the grins off our faces at having accomplished this feat...and once again herewith our thanks to Frank and his team at Kilele Savane.

I got excellent service from Oakland Tours, nice and pleasant staff: I got good deal for 2 nights at Mara Simba, the children had a wonderful experience, Mr. Kamau the driver guide was very experienced and knows the Mara like the back of his hand. Overall – A plus service. Keep up the good work.

Excellent service and extremely friendly
5/5

Tanzania Expeditions were excellent and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. The team were very friendly and welcoming. They were considerate in taking us up the mountain at a pace we were comfortable with. We had lots of breaks and chatted lots about the wildlife on the mountain. Justin and Joshua were part of the Tanzanian Expeditions team that we had.

Would highly recommend Gorilla Trek Africa to anyone doing this trip and having William as a driver/guide was an added bonus. Rwanda is an amazing country and seeing the gorillas an experience of a lifetime.
