Great Trip in Rwanda
5/5

I booked my tour with Devine African Safaris and I could not be happier. It was way cheaper going with a local operator than it would have been if I had used the international operators. Chris our guide was knowledgeable and considerate, answered all our questions and listened to everything we requested for and just made it happen.
We enjoyed the parks in Rwanda including the amazing trek to the mountain gorillas. Chris made a huge difference in our tour and we will leave Rwanda with a better appreciation of its culture, people, beauty and natural resources.
I recommend this wonderful company fully to all my mates.

Fantastic family experience - memories for a lifetime
5/5

We opted for a 5 day safari which included crater lake exploration, chimpazee trekking in Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth Park, Ishasha Park and then camping by Kachira Lake (which we added). Edrissa was very helpful and accommodating in the organising, visited us in Kampala a couple of times prior to the trip as well and very well organised. Our guide and driver Moses was excellent - great driving skills, good knowledge, and extremely professional and calm throughout the whole trip.

All the accommodation we stayed in (Isanga, Pumba, and Tipo) had incredible views, good food (especially the soups which we enjoyed a lot), and were clean. Shout out to the staff at Pumba and Tipo lodges who were so kind, friendly, and professional. We felt very looked after the whole time and think your staff are really great. The accommodation is quite eco-friendly and should showcase that more.

The actual safari was great - nature is always unpredictable but we were lucky to see lions, hyenas, amazing elephant herd and solo sightings, and snakes. The parks are beautiful. The chimpanzee trek was a real highlight and so special - we were lucky to find chimps after 15 minutes and then spent the rest of the time tracking and following them.

We had a slight issue on our return trip to Kampala with the car breaking down and we lost many hours but Moses and Edrissa dealt with it - suggestion to Mamaland management to make sure the cars are in great shape before leaving.

We travelled as a family of 5 and cannot recommend Mamaland more. It feels like an intimate family type holiday where you are well taken care of the whole time. Thank you Mamaland for the unforgettable experience!

Great Adventure
5/5

Great communication and service from the very beginning. We were on a four days safari with our guide Faradi. He took us through this amazing journey with a lot of knowledge about all the animals and we saw the Big Five! The overnight stays was perfect for us.

We highly recommend Godson Adventures!

Thank you for the best safari adventures!

What an amazing 5 star 'bucket list' experience.

Firstly can we thanks Vanessa for organizing such an amazing trip and for making sure the hotels and game parks were able to cater for my unusual way of eating (as i require all my food to be puree as i'm on a PEG). Firstly the hotel in Cape Town at the base of Table Mountain was first rate as was the room upgrade! Great location, friendly staff and wonderful food, big bonus was the free shuttle bus with-in 8kls to ferry us around and even pick us up. Next was the internal flights up to Joburg and the private transfers to and from the Waterburg Biosphere where our 2 lodges were located. First was the 'Clifftop exclusive safari hideaway' and though one of the older lodges was so warm and welcoming, the 5 large private suites spread along the cliff with large terraces, private plunge pool and furnished bale for shade. The food was just mouthwatering (so my wife told me) and excellent selection. This lodge was all inclusive and free flow of wine, beer and selected spirits which made a lot of difference at the end of the day. Our game park guide was incredible and we spend 3-4 hours starting at 5.30am and again at 4pm let us cover large areas of the park and see the BIG 5. We then moved to Makweti safari lodge, this was also a 5 star lodge with good food though drinks were not included. The 5 lodges were smaller but the main building was filled with amazing Africa antiques and a HUGE wine cellar! We were so impress with how close the animals came up to the lodge and again the amazing staff. A big thankyou to all.

Excellent Experience
5/5

Every aspect of our experience with Bateleur Eagle Safaris was flawless. Initially, we selected a small number of companies when we started to think of going on Safari, it quickly became evident that Bateleur Eagle Safaris was by far the most flexible and had the best communication. They put together a number of options very quickly which allowed us to choose exactly what we wanted within our budget. The booking and payment went smoothly. The safari itself was excellent, the camps were as promised and our guide, Antony, was truly an expert in his field. His ability to spot and recognize animals was second to none and truly amazing. In addition, he ensured we were always comfortable and had everything we needed.

Overall, our experience was amazing due to the people at Bateleur Eagle Safaris, and I recommend them highly.

Excellent value and service
5/5

Luitours was quick with a quote for our day trip and quick to respond to any questions we had. There quote price was considerably cheaper than the other 2 offers we received. This made us a little worried about the quality and service we would receive, but decided to try the company since it was only a day. However, we had no problems, the guide and driver arrived promptly on our scheduled day. They were also very good about giving us options along the way and sharing their recommendations which is especially appreciated when traveling with a child! A an added bonus we got to see a group of 4 lions, which our guide said was the first time he had seen them in the park.

Amazing! What an incredible experience
5/5

From our first thoughts about booking to go to Kenya and all the questions that go along with it to a phone call from Daniel on our way to the airport to travel home it was clear he was knowledgeable, caring and eager to get it right for us.
Peter our driver couldn't do enough for us going out of his way to make sure we had the best experiences. He seemed so genuinely happy for us whenever we saw something special. Don't know how he did it but he even managed to get Kilimanjaro to reveal itself when we woke up on our first morning after it was completely covered when we arrived!
The accommodation was excellent with a mixture of tents and rooms. Sitting having a birthday dinner looking over the hotel waterhole watching 13 elephants along with an array of other animals was something special. Food was very good and especially so at our final stop Basecamp.
Overall an amazing experience and we would not hesitate to recommend Transtrek to anyone.
Thank you
