Absolutely top notch in every way
In June/July 2019 we spent a week in Uganda following 2 weeks in Kenya. We had a strong idea of what we wanted to do from guidebooks and online research: flying from Nairobi to Entebbe Uganda and from there to Kasese for chimp trekking in Kibale Nat’l Park and community and swamp walks in nearby Bigodi, a drive down through Queen Elizabeth Nat’l Park with a boat trip and stay on the Kazinga Channel, then further south through the Ishasha Sector to see tree climbing lions and to Buhoma for a gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Nat’l Park, then a flight from Kihihi back to Entebbe and home.
I emailed our wish list to half a dozen companies for feedback and estimates. Most of them responded with their stock 5 or 6 day itineraries that had little to do with our interests and research. No thanks!
Wyclef of Gorillas and Beyond was responsive and had the best price so we went with him and we could not have made a better choice - we had an absolutely gobsmacking visit. Everything went smoothly and we loved it all: the flights, lodging, guides, tours, and road trips with Wyclef.
We found Wyclef to be creative, knowledgeable, organized, compassionate, passionate about his country, and really great company. I don't have sufficient words to recommend him highly enough - he's that great. Happy trails!

Spectacular tour through 3 of Tanzania’s amazing national parks with a knowledgeable guide.
From start to finish was an amazing adventure made all the better by guide Francis who was knowledgeable and friendly and immediately on meeting put everyone at ease. He was endlessly patient when asked to stop all the time for photos and enquired all the time we were happy and enjoying our tour. It was my first trip to Africa and first Safari but very pleased I had booked the tour it was everything and more that I was hoping to see and Francis was an amazing guide.

Self-drive wildlife tour of KwaZuluNatal
Truly, genuinely excellent - and I promise you I am difficult to please - I guess I give 5 stars at most once every hundred reviews. They took on board and understood exactly what we wanted as a family and organised a trip that fitted this perfectly with a variety of experiences and accommodation, all of them excellent. The information provided was 100% accurate, useful and informative. I wish I could use them for all my travel anywhere in the world.

Tour Of My Life
What can I say! This was the best trip of my life and Bonarde played a huge role. He made sure we always had everything we needed and more. He is polite, friendly and professional. I travelled with another person, but we always had our own rooms. The hotel in Kampala was really decent and even had a nice view. The accommodation near the gorilla site could be better, but it was alright. The accommodation on the last night was amazing, great job, Bonarde! He even gave us a small tour of Kampala before dropping us off to the airport. The price was very good, so if you always wanted to do a Gorilla trek, do it with Bonarde! It even includes a game drive. :) Thank you for everything, Bonarde, I will return in sha allah!

Masai Mara Safari and Mount Kenia Hike well organized for a Kenya Newbie
I was asking for a tailored combination of a short safari and a trekking tour in the Mount Kenia region (Pt. Lenana). I got a very nice proposal including stays in between the segments in a very good hotel in Nairobi. All my questions as First Timer in Kenya have been answered within a day (thanks to Jacqueline Mwathe) everything including pick-up at the airport was organized perfectly. The special highlight was the guided trekking tour at Mount Kenya. The guide hired for me by Bush Troop Safaris (Julius Kinuthia) was simply great. Not only being a safe giude allowing me to enjoy the trek in elevations I've never been before, but also he was a textbook about all aspects of life in Kenya and I really leaned a lot from him during our six days we had together.
