Excellent service and organisation all round.
5/5

I decided to do this trip on the spur of the moment, and gave AAS only two days notice. Within the day, all was fixed over the phone.

The tour itself worked like clockwork, the guide was brilliant. On the way to Volcanoes NP, the guide pointed out all the places of interest, stopping off for me to take photos. The drive from Kigali takes about 2-3 hours along spectacular countryside.

I stayed in two lodges over the 3 nights - Bamboo and Mountain Gorilla View. Bamboo's accommodation and service were much better than MGV, but the food at MGV had a slight edge.

The guide looked after all the park paperwork, and chose the appropriate easy routes for me (I am 68). The whole experience of seeing and almost interacting with the gorillas was an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Lots of opportunities to take photos. The park guides and porters were friendly and full of useful information.

I wholeheartedly recommend Africa Adventure for a truly wonderful trip. Well done to them.

Simply the best

Really outstanding safari...saw all the big 5 in 1 day...the guide was very well aware of the mara, took extra precaution while driving and did not cut any corners.

Will use them again the next time I am back in Kenya.

Amazing! The Big 5, customised itinerary, fabulous guide, phenomenal driver, wonderful accommodation
5/5

Nothing was too much trouble right from the planning stage. The itinerary covered all our requests and more. Our guide ensured all things were taken care of. Our driver was incredible at spotting animals as well as driving in all sorts of conditions. Both made us very welcome. Our accommodation was top notch with great meals.
We certainly saw our fair share of animals on the game drives including ALL of the BIG 5!!! We were also lucky enough to see Mount Kilimanjaro without clouds hiding its peak. A truly memorable experience that exceeded all expectations.

This company is trustworthy and friendly, we had amazing safari trip in Tanzania
5/5

As a family of 8 people we booked 6 days camping safari with this African Big5 Safari though in the beginning we had some worries because it had no many reviews here but everything turned positively at the end. Our driver and private cook were very friendly from beginning to the last day at the airport.
The vehicle was pop up roof and clean all the time and we had the choice to charge our cameras and phones everytime in the the car because it was set with inventor.
We saw Big5 animals at the crater and even in serengeti. Our children were taught some kiswahili language phrases and i can hear then saying rafiki, jambo, mshkaji everytime remembering our safari with this company. All i can say is that, we had the amazing safari trip than all we had in Southern Africa.

Trip to Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park
5/5

Blue Oceans provided transport for us, a team of 15 people going to have fun in Shimoni at the coast of Kenya. The drivers were excellent and the office kept monitoring our welfare. We would continue engaging Blue Oceans for more activities we are planning.

Trip of a lifetime
5/5

I found the staff most helpful. Aron, our booking agent, always came back to me promptly and designed a varied tour of Victoria Falls that made our holiday relaxing and interesting, making the place come alive. I would go back tomorrow if I could. It was a trip of a lifetime.

Good price and nice service!
5/5

We had a very good safari when we went with quest horizon and could organis the trip exactly as we wanted! They were very helpful and everything during the trip was included such as tents, mattresses, pillows, food and water! The cook that came with us made delicious food and usually 2 or 3 courses! We got to see all the animals we wanted and when we told the guide what we were interested in he made sure to keep extra lookout for those animals!

Amazing experiance
5/5

Booking on line was a bit shaky and because of the huge time differences it was difficult to contact the office by phone. But when I did get hold of Talbert he was very polite and helpful. Joseph met us at the airport and he was a gem throughout the entire trip. He went out of his way to make sure our every need was met. Joseph's knowledge of each area and the customs was outstanding as was his knowledge of the birds and animals. His driving skills on some difficult roads was amazing.

Our accommodation was basic but comfortable and the food was good. Some of the hotels were a little far from the activities which required early morning starts. Both the gorillas and the Chimps were an awesome experience with super guides. The guide, Leo, we had on the swamp walk was excellent his knowledge and enthusiasm was amazing.

Joseph was a remarkable person with a fabulous sense of humour and he really made the trip so special for us. He showed us Uganda in its entirety, it is a beautiful country with any different facets. We came to love Joseph like family and we were all sad to say goodbye.

Unforgettable experience!
5/5

I went to Selous Game Reserve with a friend in September. At first we didn't know what to expect, because it was our first time in Africa and doing a safari was something new to us. We took the 3 day pack and stayed at Hippo Camp. I made reservations online, and everything went just as planned. From the very beggining we felt this was a great choice because we trusted on what we were booking. So, Davis picked us up in Dar es Salaam and we drove all the way to Selous. Since the moment we got on the jeep until the end of the trip, nothing but great things happened. We are VERY happy we met Davis. We were treated as family, we had an awesome cook that gave us delicious food every day. The people from Hippo camp were very friendly and took care of us all the time. We felt very happy and comfortable there. The safari experience was Great. We can't think of anything wrong about this trip, it was the best travel experience of our lives. Davis has a lot of experience, he could see the animals from a very very far distance, he showed us everything in detail, and also explained a lot of things to us about the animals, their behaviour, etc. We enjoyed this safari 100% and will never forget it. Next year we are going back definitely with Davis as a guide.
