Tailormade Africa gave us a special, personal, up-close and real experience.
Our booking agent was Clyde Beaty at Tailormade Africa. He listened to what we wanted, helped us examine the various options and created a trip that met both our desires and budget. The incredible part of the actual trip was how personal it was. Our group of four went on safari with guides who had been in the Zimbabwe outback for decades. In many instances we had both a senior guide (of the quality who teaches, examines, and licenses other guides) and a senior tracker dedicated to the four of us. We were able to track and walk up to a sleeping elephant without waking it, spot rare birds, observe both wild lions unhabituated to humans and a community of somewhat habituated lions who allowed us to observe at close range their cubs playing. The entire experience was very special.

The Most Perfect Safari Experience
I did a 5 day Budget Camping Safari in the Serengeti, Lake Manyara and ngorongoro crater with Avocet. I don't want to mislead anyone by pumping up expectations but this was by far the best safari I have ever gone on (and I've been on a lot). I think the time of year I went was part of it, it was before the rainy season but it wasnt dry so the grass was green and short enough to see animals, it was also not super super hot out which means the animals were active and walking around, there were hardly any other tourists around. The main thing though, was our driver/guide Oze (ask for him if you can) was by far the coolest and best guide I've ever had. He really went way out of his way to make sure we saw what we wanted. The whole time I was very vocal about caring most about cheetahs and he was chasing them down for us. He was super knowledgeable and great to hang out with for a week and just overall a great guy. He had eagle eyes and was spotting leopards half a kilometer away in a tree. Three of the days were in the Seregenti and this is what we saw in total-
56 Lions, 9 Cheetahs, FOUR leopards, FOUR Rhinos, and too many of everything else to count.
The whole experience thru Avocet was perfectly organized and ran like clockwork. Jeff who was my point of contact was very in touch and easy to get a hold of, and he greeted me at my hotel and saw me off at the end to make sure I was happy. The campsite was for real camping, no fences, nothing, you literally sleep in the middle of the serengeti, at night Zebras, Buffalo and Elephants may pay you a visit! The Landcruiser we were in was so cool and rugged, it was a real authentic African Safari experience. You literally couldn't pay thousands of dollars more and have a better experience, this was as good as it gets!!!!

A safari experience never to be forgotten, leaving you counting the days until the next one
This is my 2nd safari with Shaun and Charles and it felt like meeting up with old friends. Shaun's communication regarding the safari has always been exceptional, never leaving any question unanswered and when you arrive at Camp you are prepared and ready . The transport from the airport made our lives so much easier and we got to know the other photographers on the journey, stopping for lunch and enough pit stops to stretch our legs and buy refreshments. When we arrived, we all felt comfortable together and our first game drive was so easy and relaxed.
The camp was exceptional, the accommodation was pristine, comfortable and relaxing. The food was sublime and as a vegetarian, my fussy culinary requirements were more than catered for.
Shaun and the team at Camp were exceptionally attentive hosts and nothing was too much for them.
The uniqueness of Shaun's safari's is what keeps me coming back. I love the remoteness of the Camp, the fact that we track every animal and where each encounter with wildlife is yours alone. Shaun has a massive amount of knowledge and patience and a huge and healthy respect for the game we are viewing. My March photographic safari has become my annual spoil to myself and I shall await next year's March safari with great enthusiasm.
My only complaint is that it was too short and March 2018 is too is too far away.

Amazing Safari!!
My girlfriend and I joined "World Tours & Safaris Tanzania" for our first Safari, 4-Day Amazing Tanzania Safari Experience, and it was simply incredible!
Even though we have got a bit nervous at the very beginning, but Richard could still work it out by promptly replying our emails and clearly stated all the details. When we arrived getting off from a 4-hour delayed bus, the pick-up has already been arranged, without the need to wander for our hostel at dusk.
And our driver/guide and cook were both outclassed! Horace, was just amazing, always spotting animals way before we could, even after half-day driver, and without him, we might not be able to spot all "The Big 5" in just 4 days. And our cook was great too! we just love all the food he made, especially the veggie soup, and everything was prepared when we just finished our game-drive.
I could not recommend you guys enough!!

I had an awesome experience with Solaris Tours and Travel during my holiday in Nairobi ,Kenya.
Once i requested the package, the information was sent to me almost immediately and the service was up to my expectation. From my view, i got the real value of my money and would not hesitate to engage you again during my next holiday. My safari to Maasai mara National park was awesome and full of vivid memories. Would recommend you to my friends at any given time.

Expert advice and arrangements
Being new to Africa travel, we had only vague ideas about where we'd like to go on safari and what kind of camps and tours were available. We also started planning a bit late for getting the best camps in the best season. Tailormade Africa's Clyde Beaty talked us through the options and came back with a perfect two-week tour of Northern Zimbabwe, including four different camps -- a mobile camp in Hwange NP, a private lodge on Lake Kariba, a small seasonal camp in Mana Pools NP and finally a more elaborate and luxurious camp in a concession , also at Mana Pools. Once in Zimbabwe everything went smoothly (despite an airline delay arriving); all the land connections and internal small plane flights were as planned. The the camps were each different and each had its attractions; taken together they were a fantastic introduction to Southern Africa wildlife and safari culture. Hope we can go back soon -- we would definitely do it through Tailormade!

My annual getaway
I can't see myself going on safari with any other safari company. The lodge, food, company, views, animals - the whole package is what makes me go again and again without any doubts. Shaun, the owner, goes to every length to keep his guests happy. His knowledge, sense of humour and overall warm personality makes any day in the bush a memorable one.

Bramwel are cheats and cannot be trusted one bit
We had a similar experience with Bramwel Safari. We took the safari in Sept 16. We landed in Kilimanjaro and had someone pick us up in a jeep that was smelling of fish (we are vegetarians). We were taken to Planet Lodge, thankfully this was booked. The next morning we were greeted by another driver and guide Dennis (he was good) in a clean jeep. We drove to Serengeti and our woes began. We were there by 11 am and when the driver went to the counter to get our permits, he was told that there was no money in the card issued in Arusha. He called William Amon who heads Bramwel Safaris, and was arguing with him. William told him that he was going to the bank to deposit the money in the card. We waited at the gated until 2.30pm. Still no sign of the money. We decided having come this far let's just pay by credit card and get over with this. The dirver took us to the lodge that was supposed to be booked for us and as suspected the booking was not done. We have been driving around and it was getting quite dark. Luckily the driver knew another lodge and knew a person there and we managed to get a tent for two nights. We were so disappointed with all this that we decided not to go for the Hot Air Balloon for which we had paid 1000 $ advance. I am sure if we had to do this we would have had to pay again.
From Serengeti we headed to Ngorongoro and were told that the luxury hotel that we had paid for was not booked so we would be staying at another hotel. Luckily the hotel was booked and we did not have to pay for this.
On the whole William keeps on promising and from what I have read on their website and here, he seems to have made this his way of making quick money out of people who have worked hard and saved up for a trip like this. Because a trip like this is not cheap. He says he is God fearing and goes to church. I doubt very much the man has any conscience. He is still cheating people saying he will repay them and then more empty promises.
Please do read reviews on the tour operators and do stay well away from Bramwel.

But the animals was not many
Over 4 days our group (6 people) visited 3 national parks of Tanzania: Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire. I spent the night at the Lodge, and others in tents. I recommend to spend the night at the Lodge is slightly more expensive, but very convenient. More just like Ngorongoro. Tarangire is between Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. In Tarangire a lot of elephants. In the Serengeti the animals were not much. 4 day Safari for me was worth 900$. It is expensive. The driver was not very good: the road was driving not very confident, Not always stayed near the animals, he said himself the amount that I should give tips for him. Couldn't care less about tourists. The food was good. The accommodation was good. But a whole tour like 4. But the animals was not many.

Well aranged safari, with experienced guide and human touch
The guide knew what he was doing, knew where to go for good spotting. Communication with Jeff was good, he kept us up to speed and offered alternatives if needed. We were well taken care of with good lunch and a human touch... Jeff was clear about the teams of our booking and explained everything very clearly. Only minus:you have to pay in cash...
