Sth Africa / Vic Falls and Zambia Safari
5/5

My wife and I with our adult children and partners had a wonderful safari with Ubuntu Safaris in August this year. Cuan invested a great deal of time and effort into providing an amazing safari experience tailored to our needs. All aspects of the experience was totally memorable. Our accommodation at both camps plus Vic Falls was first class and this was matched by the service at each stay. The daily safaris and tour guides were excellent and they genuinely wanted to provide the best experience possible for us. We ate well, enjoyed the company of friendly staff and we felt safe and comfortable throughout.
We were met at the airport upon arrival and upon return at Johannesburg at the completion of our safari by Cuan's father, who was also an excellent host.
I cannot speak highly enough of the experience and I would certainly endorse African Ubuntu Safaris as a first class tour operator.
Cuan even organised a wonderful birthday celebration for a member of our family - an afternoon and night to remember!
Thanks Ubuntu!

Ezekiel Malongoza is an awseome guide and a great person
5/5

This review is for one of Heri Africa quide/drivers - Ezekiel Malongoza .
My husband and I have traveled to Tanzania in Feb, 2015. Unfortunately we did not use Heri Africa, but we were lucky enough to have one of their current driver/guides-Ezekiel Malongoza. We met and had Ezek as a guide/driver by pure chance but for good. We used Tanzania on Food whose owner found Ezek to go on a private safari with us at the very last moment. It was not up until the morning of departure when we found out we were badly set up for failure by Tanzania on Food- we started the safari with a regular SUV not a safari car, Ezek was given no money for gas, entrance fees, water, etc. expenses and our safari started on a Sunday! Had we not been with Ezek we would have had no safari at all or would be stranded in the middle of nowhere. All the finances promised to him were not sent by the company owner. Ezek did his very best to defend our right, to get us going through our safari and indeed complete it. We had no idea how he arrange all our stays at different lodges having to support himself and through his very nice and helpful friend- Bonnie. There were countless obstacles, in-numerous very intense moments, and a lot of pressure he had to deal with. To top it off, with the permission of the company owner, our safari was slightly changed to include even more challenging rout - going to Lake Namecon and staying 2 night there, and then to Serengeti. This diversion even though beautiful was difficult to travel and with almost no resources available, no internet, cell phone connection, and extremely sparsely if at all populated.
Ezek was relentless in his efforts to give us the best possible experience. He went through a lot to assure we had a memorable experience. He was way more than a guide/driver. He would not sleep or it to arrange our next day experience with no company support. This great man was so a real gem to us- we would have been likely stranded by any other guide at the very beginning, however he did magics to continue the journey with us. Eventually he came with us to TTB in Arusha to report our case and spent another day and a half with us in Arusha area to make sure we were safe and well. He even invited us to his house and offered a tasty dinner prepared by his wife before taking us to the airport for our return home flight.

Any words would be weak to express our thanks to Ezek. He is a great person with huge heart, very customer dedicated, always willing to help, very flexible, and was able to do for us something we are certain no one else would have done. We hope we come back and meet him again. He is a person we would always remember and always be extremely thankful to. Big hugs from me and George dear Ezek.

5/5

They provide us the most taylored and customized honeymoon possible! everything was much better than we expected. We loved the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere and everyone made us feeling so incredibly special and gave us a unique insight. Over our game drives we managed to see all the big five plus some!!
You have to plan on going out more than once!

Exquisite and personalized Kilimanjaro and Safari Honeymoon
5/5

Planet Africa Safaris Helped us every step of the way. They booked all accommodations, transportation, and worked within our budget to ensure we had an amazing honeymoon. Leah and her team put together a trip of a lifetime, preparing us and providing us with detailed itineraries (including one for our family and friends to follow us on our journey), as well as ensuring all travel within Africa was completely seamless. Our accommodations were extremely comfortable and all drivers were waiting for us at the appropriate times and were in comfortable vehicles. Trip was seamless and highly recommend Planet Africa Safaris!

Lucky Safari -- all due to the wildlife guide and the careful guidance of Makasa.
5/5

Our experience in Tanzania was above and beyond any hopes or expectations we may have had. Makasa Wildlife Guide Jamal Minja was an extraordinary person. Not only did he spot and guide us to some experiences we could never have hoped for (leopards, black rhinos, many thousands of others), but he worked with us as an older and handicapped couple -- always saying, "Babu (Grandfather), this is your vacation." He knew all the wildlife and taught us so much that I couldn't believe it. I loved the Swahili language and Jamal patiently worked with me on basic phrases. A gentleman, intelligent, and patient person - but always respecting the rules and regulations for the wildlife - and I just can't tell you how important that was to us. For example, Mr. Minja found a place where three black rhinos were together (miraculous, because not only are they few and endangered but also are solitary animals). Some guides were driving their vehicles across the land to get a closer look for their "tipping" clients, but Jamal explained that was illegal and harmful. Not for a million years would I have wished to contravene those regulations, and thank you Makasa for giving us a wise guide to help us enjoy "God's Parks." Kwaheri.

Satisfied tour adventure with Gecko
4/5

The communications in advance of the tour went very well and quick with Rama the contact person.
The private tour of 5 days was very nice and exciting and we had a very good english speaking gide/driver with very good eyes. He saw most animals much earlyer as we did and we have seen the big five and much more. The accomodation and lodges were very good and met the expectations. It is by the way intended that the guide/driver has dinner with you in the accommodations, which was not told beforehand. If you want to have romantic dinners this is not very convenient. The 4wheeldrive car was very good but the power chargers did not work so bring enough power with you. The partner of Rama was also very friendly and helpfull.

Awesome Safari in Tanzania
5/5

Our safari was great we loved all the travel arrangements through Tanzania Roadside Expeditions. Our tour took us through the many faces of Tanzania: Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti national park, our guides were extremely knowledgeable and a lot of fun. We saw everything we'd hoped for; including cheetahs, a leopard, rhinos and so many lions we lost count.
All in all, I highly recommend Tanzania Roadside Expeditions, James and Ezekiel our guides.

Tanzania on its best by Paka
5/5

I had such an amazing trip that i booked through Paka Adventures.
In the beginning when searching I obviously was nervous for going to Africa.
Thanks to the professionalism of Eivind and Helena I felt comfortable right away.

The trip took me to all the highlights of the southern part of Tanzania:
- Mikumi
- Selous
- Zanzibar
- Dar es Salaam
From a to z, the entire trip was organized superb. The driver/guide was great, the lodges and camps were sublime and the vehicle new. The game drives truly were amazing!!
Thanks paka adventures for the trip of my life!

Good experiences at reasonable cost
4/5

The reason why I chosed Swahili Paradise Touwrs & Safaris was its tour cost which was reasonable compared with that of other tour companys. Of course I didn't feel the quality of the tour was behind that of other tour companys. So that I was satisfied with the servfice of Swahili Paradise Touwrs & Safaris .

Great attention to detail
5/5

From the very first enquiry to Simon regarding the possibility of a trip to Namibia I was impressed by his knowledge and the attention to detail he provided. Although we are used to visiting South Africa, Namibia was a country that we knew very little about. The planned itinerary was superb and I did things I'd never imagined possible, such as climbing a huge sand dune and scrambling down canyons. The best bit however had to be the game drives, where we saw a vast array of wild life, and the opportunity to track cheetahs and a huge hyena on foot. Accommodation overall was very good. I can really recommend the extension to Okonjima and the Africat Foundation; it was well worth the extra. You do have to have a certain amount of fitness but we are both over 60 and apart my husband suffering from a bad back the itinerary did not cause us problems. I can really recommend Native Escapes for its professionalism and great customer service. Thank you Simon.
