Flexible, responsive, affordable and absolutely amazing!
I come to Kenya for work quite often, but I had never been on a safari before. So this time when my family was coming over to Kenya and Africa for the first time, we decided to go on a safari together, and Tall Masai Safari made it surreal for us.
I connected with Benson (from Tall Masai) two months before we were to arrive and started planning the trip. Despite the several times I changed the tour itself, he was always very considerate and responsive. We were able to customize the tour according to our needs. For part of trip we were able to arrange our own accommodation while only using their transportation and game drives. Their pricing was extremely reasonable to begin with, but the flexibility we had made the trip even more affordable.
Benson was very attentive all throughout and came to pick us up from the airport. At the airport he introduced us to our driver Tushara. From there we went on a 4 day trip to Amsboseli, Naivasha and Lake Nakuru. Tushara was an absolute delight to have around. He was remarkably knowledgeable about the landscape and the wildlife. He could spot a bird in the distance and identify the species.
He took it upon himself to show us the big five. We only missed the leopard by a minute but got plenty of time with the rest. We saw two different lion prides feeding! People may think that they are going to see all the wildlife by just going on a game drive, but it is not easy to always spot every animal, at least in the smaller parks. It really depends on knowing when and where to be, and that depends on your driver. And Tushara made a genuine effort to be at the right place at the right time. He always communicated with other safari vehicles to figure out where we need to be. Sometimes he would tell us to hold on and drive fast through the tracks so we could get to the animals before they wandered off into the bushes. It is truly because of him that our trip became so spectacular.
I will strongly recommend Tall Masai Safari to anyone who is considering a safari. They were absolutely amazing!

I went together with my wife and daughter to Tanzania. At Kilimanscharo Airport we had a warm welcome by Sudy (our guide). Then we went to Aruza lodge and had a walk through Aruza with Sudy. It was very impressive to see the life of the people. Next day we went to two schools and brought some gifts for the pupils. Afterwards we went for Safari, first in the Taranquiri Nationalpark and then to Serengeti South. The landscape was very impressive and we saw a lot of animals. Lions, zebras, giraffes, antilopes a.s.o Our guide had really eagle eyes and found the best places and the best views to the animals. The lodges were very comfortable, the food excellent.
I recommend such a trip with the family or with friends. It is a life long expierience. Tanzaniagoodfriendssafaris is really for good friends. There is a friendship and business relationsship between Tananians and Austrians! A reliable partner!

This is a small but excellent company run by Ben who is also chief guide. Very knowledgeable both prior to and on safari proving a personal and flexible service. We only spent 4 days with him in Southern Kruger but impressive. Able to vary what we did because of weather and delivered on Big Five and many more animals and birds. Ben accompanied us and led our game drives but also arranged game walks and night drives with Park rangers. Obviously has a wealth of experience in Kruger, knows it extremely well, but also appeared to be very capable in Botswana, Vic Falls and elsewhere. We highly recommend Ben to anyone for small or large private parties.

Advent of a lifetime
The Suricata team is fantastic! Damian the guide is professional, friendly and is one of the greatest guides I have ever had. Jamie the chef treated us to surprisingly fine cuisine- the guy is up at 3 AM preparing gourmet meals for the day! On a gas cookstove and charcoal embers no less. The Serengeti is more than a game drive. You will see more animals than you can count, but experience ones of the grandest ecosystems I have experienced in my travels, with the most friendly Tanzanian team you could ask for.
All good, no bad, and a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I could on and on, not enough space here to share the magic.
You will be camping, but they do all setup for you. Buckle up and enjoy the ride!

Unforgettable first safari with the best tour operator
King Mufasa Expeditions delivered an unforgettable "trip of a lifetime" for us, making my dream of going on a safari in the Serengeti come true. My expectations were high, but the company exceeded all of them. They stood out from other companies because of their prompt replies, friendly demeanor, and high level of customer service and attention to detail.
We booked a one-week northern circuit safari with a beach extension in Zanzibar, starting in Tarangire, moving to the Serengeti, and ending at the Ngorongoro Crater. Our guide, Eli, was the perfect fit for us. He was personable, cheerful, and very knowledgeable. Eli did everything he could to make sure we had a great time and were well taken care of. He greeted us each morning with a high-five or a hug and reviewed the plan for the following day at the end of each day. His commitment to making our trip special was evident, and it was clear that he genuinely loves his job.
Anneth handled all the logistics once we arrived, and as someone who normally coordinates vacations and trips, I felt completely at ease and confident in his abilities. I was able to relax and unplug without worrying about anything. The sights were beautiful, the animals were abundant, and the entire experience was like a dream.
The accommodations we selected for the trip were all incredible and top-notch, including Arusha Villa Karamu Coffee Estate, Tarangire Nimali Camp, Melia Serengeti, Karibu Lions Paw, and Melia Zanzibar.
I want to express my gratitude to Davis and Anneth. We are forever thankful for the amazing trip they arranged for us, and we look forward to crossing paths with them again in the future.
