Two German couples on a well organized and guided tour to the highlights of Northern Ethiopia
A good plan is half the success: our plan to go to Ethiopia was detailed and finalized together with Franziska Gerling, an experienced guide of SimienEco Tours with lots of on site know-how about what to see and how to travel. On our trip with a designated and excellent guide and an experienced and safe driver we found out, that our plan was worth a lot in a dynamic and vital environment of such a tour. Our guide and driver had a good feeling to give us the time we needed to see what we wanted to see, to get in tough with the Ethiopian people and to experience the things you need to understand this country. But they had also a clear idea of the overall schedule which finally made this trip unforgettable for us.

Outstanding experience
My husband and I had an excellent safari experience with African Big Cats Safaris. Our guide, Goodluck, handled everything in a seamless manner. We were introduced to the customs and culture of the country and enjoyed excellent wildlife viewing. Simien Eco Tours organised a flexible, amazing, adventurous and responsible a-la-carte tour for us!
Planning our travel with Simien Eco-Tours was an easy and very relaxed process. We had very specific needs and desires for this trip and each of them were looked into with great attention and flexibility. Our trip had to be very condensed and the team worked around our timeframe very well. The guides were amazing (both in Harar and the Simien Mountains), very knowledgeable, relaxed, friendly and pleasant. We always felt safe and were able to enjoy this trip at any time! The choices of accommodation and restaurants were always spot on, and the drivers and cars were very safe. We had been in Ethiopia before so we also know how hard it can be to organise such a complicated trip with our timeframe, but Simien Eco-tours managed perfectly! The safari in the Simien Mountains were the ultimate moment of the trip, our guide was patient and extremely knowledgeable. We loved it!

Ranger Buck communications was wonderful not once did we have to follow up anything but before we thought about it it was already answered, as a tour guide ( game ranger} I thought Ranger Buck was very knowledgeable his passion for wildlife and the outdoors shows in the way he handles every situation be it an anthill or a Lion he will spend his time explaining on anything big or small , He goes all out to make game drives worth every minute, He organized everything for us, all we had to do was to arrive, he communicates the whole time and actually very entertaining to listen to and to talk to.. It surely did live up to all the expectations I had on a Safari, and would recommend him to anyone wanting a good laugh and at the same time a good education of the Bush.

Ethiopia surprises its visitors with out of this world scenery and more birds than I ever thought p
Our group experienced a great varity of aktivities during our visit to Ethiopia. The scenic views were breathtaking, especially in the Simien and Gheralta Mountains. Our guides met my exspectations highest form. They were flexible and adapted their programs to our requests. Our main guide Engidaw taught him self German, which was a high value for us.

Ethiopia is awesome and allurung. The contry offers a varity on scenery and remarkable churches.
Our guides showed us their country from its best. I really enjoyed my trip to Ethiopia. The people were very frindly and did their best to show us the highlights of their contry. The trip was well organized and the guides gave us ample time to photograph the world famous churches of Lalibela and others and scenery. Some accomodations were better than other ,but that is normal on circle tours. Weather can not be influenced, but all in all the weather was not a disturbing factor.
