Experience of a Lifetime!!
I had the most amazing experience with Extra Miles Unique Adventures! Their team is the epitome of professionalism and hospitality! It was truly the experience of a lifetime. And the Masaai Mara is one of the most incredible places on earth! The wildlife and nature are simply unparalleled and I couldn’t have picked a better team for the safari.
Edwin helped me customize an itinerary that was right for me and provided multiple options to choose from. His professionalism and attentiveness were a wonderful first impression. As I was departing for Nairobi, my flight had a delay. They were understanding and helped coordinate the new times. Edwin also met me at the airport and introduced me to Jimmy, my guide for the week. Jimmy took me to their headquarters on our way out of town. There, I met Melisa, their director, who checked in periodically to make sure I was having a wonderful trip.
Jimmy and I started the long drive to Masaai Mara. Jimmy was the most amazing guide! He raced through backroads to make sure we had a great spot to view the wildlife and waited patiently while I tried to get the perfect picture. Part of the experience was being with such an experiencced guide who was as excited to see the various wildlife as I was! Jimmy’s passionate for the Mara creates an incredible experience. He is very knowledgable as well and was happy to answer my many questions.
I also went on the horseback game-drive and had an exquisite brunch overlooking the Mara. There I met John, our guide for the horseback adventure. It was an easy ride even with no previous experience on a horse. Being on horseback was such a special opportunity. It felt like truly being part of the Mara. Sitting there overlooking the savannah while listening to Jimmy and John talk about the Mara and the various conservation efforts was such a memorable and peaceful experience.
On the last day, I chose to go to Hell Gate National Park. We took a bike ride throughout the park and saw even more wildlife up close. The guide there, I believe his name was Ben, was very knowledgeable as well. He taught me even more about the park and the Masaai people.
Upon returning to my hotel in Nairobi, Melisa visited to get my feedback on the trip. She was attentive and wanted to make sure I had a wonderful trip. I was staying in town a few days longer and they even checked in to see how the rest of my trip was going. As a solo female traveler, I really appreciated the extra special care to make sure I was safe, comfortable and enjoying myself! I will absolutely visit again and will reach out to Extra Miles Unique Adventures when I return!

Perfect organisation
Communication is quick and professional. Everything we planned was perfect organized. William and Danford, our guides, are very friendly, have patience, are very good drivers (sometimes important..), and have a good knowledge. Thank you for the great time!!

Great tour of Amboselli
My mum and I visited Kenya from Australia and did a 3 day / 2 night safari to Amboselli with Bed of Roses. We really couldn’t fault anything about the tour. We were met at the airport by Mercy and we stayed at OlTukai lodge which was amazing. Our driver Daniel was very good and knowledgeable and did his best for us to see all the animals in the park. Despite the time of year not being the best for Amboselli we still saw lot of animals including elephants, zebras, giraffes, flamingos, hippos and a lion. We were lucky on our last day too that we saw the mountain in great visibility. We went with the 4x4 Safari jeep with open roof and I highly recommend this over the minibuses if your budget allows (although the minibuses we saw also had the open roof so you wont miss out on views, just it was a little bit wet and muddy so the 4x4 was reassuring we wouldn't get stuck).
We realised we were the first customers for this company and this was a little nerve-wracking for us as we wanted to ensure the company was legitimate. Dickson was very responsive and sent us the accommodation confirmation (which we needed anyway for the entry visa) and reassured us we were booked in for the tour. He also advised us they are registered with the TRA, and I independently checked this.
We felt very well looked after, safe and I would recommend this company.

Really friendly and welcoming
What a great experience with Isiah. Takes time to get used to the culture of super friendly people. Sometimes things take time since no-one is in a rush but that’s what I loved the best about our journey. Everything from transportation to food was taken care of and our guide was very knowledgeable about the wilderness.

RAS was super accommodating. They communicated with us frequently and effectively. No surprises. The driver was excellent. The pick-up and drop-off at our hotel were right on time. They walked us through the payment process with patience and expertise. I highly recommend them!

Excellent service
We travelled in two family groups to Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru. The booking process had been handled very professionally, with very quick response times. Our two drivers/guides, Charles and George, could not have done more to make our safari trip as complete and memorable as possible. Using their expertise, we were fortunate to see the "Big 5" twice over, and cant think of a single animal we missed. Their expertise also extended to birdlife - something several of us were particularly interested in - and between us we accumulated a bird list of over 100 species covering a wide range of habitats. The accommodation in tented camps was comfortable and clean (very much needed after long days in the vehicles), and although we were very close up to nature, the security provided at each camp was completely reassuring. All in all we had a fantastic safari experience.

I am a youtuber from Cameroon, I visited Tanzania for holidays and Godlisten made our stay memorable. I laughed the entire trip and I left feeling like I was born in Arusha 🤣🤣. We visited the Hotsprings of Chemka, the Museum and had Streetsfood. I made videos of our trip on my youtube channel (channel name: Victorine Bih Takwe under my Tanzania Playlist 🙂).
