Amazing Time.
We recently got back from a two week honeymoon. We travelled to Kenya first for a week then to Zanzibar. The whole trip was amazing, well planned and stress free. The two safari camps we stayed at (saruni samburu, Richards river camp Masi Mara) were beautiful, the people were friendly and couldn't do more to help. We got everything and more out of the safari, we saw all the incredible animals and some truely beautiful sights. Our final week was spent on a beach in Zanzibar at the stunning resort called The Residence. This was truely beautiful and relaxing. We would recommend the luxury safari company to anyone planning a once in a life time trip.

Fantastic guide and good planning
Noah Kutti did an excellent job laying out the itinerary while Geoffrey (our guide in Kenya) was just awesome. We plan to come back to Masai Mara soon and there is no qs. as to which company we are going to choose. Only thing is that some of the drives (such as from Nakuru to Mara) are pretty long and over unpaved roads. If you can afford, try taking the flights for these 6+ hour road trips. You back will thank you.
Super helpful and friendly lodge managers
My wife and I had a great 5 day safari to both private game reserves and Kruger National Park with Viva Safaris. The organization by Viva Safaris was very helpful because they are able to organize tours that visit the private game reserves without having to pay the exorbitant prices to actually stay at the private game reserve. By far the highlight of the trip though were the super friendly and helpful lodge managers. We picked a trip that included accommodations in "an intimate lodge next to Kapama in luxurious tented chalets with private splash pools". The lodge was named Katekani and it was an amazing experience. The rooms were gorgeous and spacious, the food was delicious and custom cooked to our tastes and requirements and the couple that ran the lodge: Allan and Elena went out of their way to make sure we had an incredible time.

A perfect safari experience
We had an absolutely brilliant Safari organized by Diederik. He was great with communication, he made some helpful suggestions, and was really accommodating in what we were after i.e. Our time frame, budget and experiences we wanted. (Diederik even came and met us at the very start of our Journey in Uganda and had such a well organized tour package to give us)
Our Safari was organized as a 15 day luxury safari, which is the expensive way of seeing Africa but so worth it to have small safari groups and close animal encounters (we had 2 days that it was only the tour guide, my hubby and myself in the safari car) and we were absolutely thrilled with our experience.
Because we were traveling in April/May Diederik suggested Uganda for the Gorillas as well as Zimbabwe and Botswana for the animals. We were so lucky to see everything we wanted...both Uganda and the Gorillas are truly amazing, Vic falls were spectacular, and the wildlife in Botswana was just sensational (we saw everything except a rhino and we even saw the wild dogs).
What we loved about this safari were the people, all the staff were so incredibly welcoming, hard working and attentive, the safari drivers really know their stuff and actually track animals for you. We always felt safe, our journey was organized so well that there was always someone to meet us for each transfer and take us directly to our destination, through border crossings and everything. We couldn't thank Diederik enough for the quality of our Safari. We thought it was a one off adventure but we now know Africa has so much more to offer and we will definitely be booking with Ubuntu Safaris again.

A One Day Safari to Tsavo East National Park
Our time in Kenya was most wonderful and African Mosaic Safaris played a big part. The safari to Tsavo East National Park was excellent. We chose a one day safari and were not sorry we did. One day was enough for us. The driver/tour guide was a good driver and an excellent guide. The day, of course, was long and the roads were difficult to navigate. He did a very good job. He was great at spotting the animals and allowed us to take our time in taking many photographs. I would definitely recommend African Mosaic Safaris.
The infamous Kilimajaro
we climbed mount Kilimanjaro through the lemosho route. We were easily climbing 5-6 hours a day. Our climb officially started on day two at Landrose. Day 3 was Ferest camp. Day 4 shira 1 and so forth till we ascended to the peak. By day 9 we reached uhuru summit (the peak). It was quite the accomplishment. took plenty of photos and started the descent. we always had nourishing packed lunches and plenty of water. Northern Masailand safari is the best.

Exceeding all our expectations
For many years we dreamed about a Safari in South Africa. When I started to study about what to do, where to go and what to see I quickly found out that the standard packages available in my home country the Netherlands did not fit the needs of our party of six. We decided to go for a tailored tour and found Adventura via Safaribookings. Olivia was our contact person, and she quickly with a lot of professional knowledge designed a program for us fitting all our needs and beyond. Even the most exotic question she could answer, always positive and helpful she made our dream come through. Everything was perfect and well prepared, and wherever we arrived, transport, pickup, transfers always worked perfectly.
We started our Safaritour in Zimbabwe, Safarilodge close to Victoriafalls. Next to the great falls we saw elephants, Buffalos, monkeys, Antilopes and many others from our hotel room or hotel restaurant. From Great to GreAtest: we moved on to Ngoma lodge in Botswana: what a luxury both hotel and wildlife in the Chobe Delta, maybe the most beautiful place of Africa. Water and land safaris showed us a wildlife we only knew from NAtional Geographic. BIg herds of elephants 2 feet away from our open Land Rover, hypos, crocodiles, Buffalos Antilopes and so many more, it seemed not to be real. Hundreds of Zebra and impalas....giraffes and a Leopard. From here we flew to Madikwe resort in SouthAfrica, were we had booked with Madikwe Safari Lodge...having kind of our private lodge for the six of us at Dimakaya...in this game reserve we saw cheetahs, lions, wild dogs, rhinos next to all the other animals. A highlight were the 5 lion cups with two mothers, or the hyenas during dinner...after 4 nights we flew to Capetown and explored the city including the district 6 museum, looking back to township and apartheid history only to continue to Hermanus were we saw more than 20 whales during our boat tour ending our wonderful trip at Franshoek at beautiful winery Rickety Bridge. They have some of the best whines in town and also their kitchen is a class of its own.
Adventura and in particular Olivia: we all want to thank you that you made our dream come true. Showing some of our videos to friends the comment was: this is better than National Geographic on TV. We have travelled all 5 continents, but this was the best travel agency we have ever met so far: honest, reliable, patient, understand customers needs, offer good ideas and tips when planning the trip while also honoring the budget we had available. Highly recommended to all travelers.

A cultural safari with memories for a lifetime!
I spent some great days with Journeys Uganda during my second visit to Uganda which came to give me some of my most treasured memories.
As being a frequent traveller I this time went back to Uganda to visit friends and ended up making many new ones.
I requested a cultural safari which I surely got. Moving across Ugandas different kingdoms and with that different tribes and sights mixed together with the gorgeous nature scenes was just fantastic. The wildlife through my safari was very much alive even if the purpose was different but it just made it even better since it is all somehow connected.
I ended my trip in Kigali, Rwanda visiting a few of the genocide menorial sites to pay my respect with the victims. A very emotional experience but something that everyone that visits Kigali should take time to do.
Together with my guide Paul Tamwenya who truly is fantastic, I had the most amazing time that I will remember and treasure for the rest of my life!

"a wonderful East Africa safari experience"
We had a fantastic 10-day safari to Kenya and Tanzania in July 2016 through CKC Tours and Travel. Our trip planning began with weeks of searching the Internet for the best places to go in East Africa and the right company to work with. After a month or so we were able to narrow the search down to three companies. We made a request to three companies for a quote. We were most impressed with CKC’s prompt and very informative response, as well as their very competitive price. As this was our first trip to Africa, we had several questions regarding such things as how long (miles and time) would the vehicle drives be between parks we wanted to visit. We’d heard from friends that many roads between parks were unpaved and 4-6 hour driving time between them was not uncommon. After a few back and forth e-mails, John M. (CKC’s managing director) was able to modify the initial proposal to better accommodate our desired maximum daily travel time by dropping out one of the more outlier parks (Samburu) and adding a flight between two of our “must see” parks (Masai Mara and Serengeti). John’s knowledge of the region, ability to customize the proposal to best fit our interests and clarity in communication were key factors in deciding on CKC. Going with a local tour company was also important to us. Our private safari had guides very knowledgeable about the parks, their wildlife and local peoples and customs. Vincent was our driver/guide in Kenya (Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara and Amboseli) and Abdul and George in Tanzania (Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara). All three had over 15 years of experience, had good communication skills and seemed to be well respected by other guides - the latter being important in receiving up-to-date sightings on special wildlife happenings. We had many, many highlights on the trip, but seeing hundreds of wildebeest crossing of the croc infested Mara River was perhaps most memorable. In summary, we would recommend booking with CKC to our family and friends.
