Good organisation, staff and services meant we had many excellent experiences in Tanzania.
5/5

We had wonderful safaris. Our guide, John, was knowledgeable,an excellent spotter of animals and obviously proud of the natural wonders found in Tanzania. He was always patient, happy, sociable and went out of his way to ensure we had wonderful experiences. The accommodation in most places was excellent - good rooms and good service. The food was great and we enjoyed our picnic lunches. The safaris themselves were awesome.

Safari to dream of
5/5

The transport by plane and landrovers went without a hitch. The guides at both camps in Ruaha and Serengeti South were friendly and really well informed. They took us on memorable game drives in quiet areas. We saw the migration of the wildebeest, lion, cheetah, hyaena and leopard as well as many smaller antelope and birds of prey. The highlight was a pack of wild dog. A particular delight were the meals set up in the bush during an early morning game drive. Africa still has a wonderful wild side and Africa Odyssey found it for us.

Immaculate
5/5

Our Kruger safari with Neil was a dream trip in every sense for my mother and I. We'd dreamt of such an adventure for years, and when we were actually there it was an immaculate dream of a trip...hypnotizing landscapes/wild, dusty roads/lions literally close enough to touch (if the windows had been down)/galloping herds/lazy jaguars/royal giraffes. This really can't be overstated. I've just tried, but I've failed.

Regarding the day-to-day, the most important thing is Neil. He's a classy, fun, intelligent dude with a mildly humorous accent. As a result of this, everything else falls into place. Lodging could be described as rustic, spectacular. And South African bacon should be considered a national treasure.

The only thing anyone really needs to understand is that if Neil were not guiding others, he'd probably be out there himself. He, and Jewel of Africa Safaris, have a real and proud hunger for what they do.

Ute was very helpful setting up the safari, arranging transfers, and answering our questions. She made the planning experience easy. Ute's recommendations for the safari exceeded our expectations.

This was the trip of a lifetime.
5/5

When we visited Cuan in his Greenwich office he focused our thoughts and harnessed such a passion for Africa that we found it easy to follow his suggestions. We were never disappointed! From the moment his father met our plane in Johannesburg we knew that the trip was going to be special. From then until we left for home the travel and handovers from one guide to another occurred seamlessly, and we felt safe, organised and very pampered.
Whether it was Victoria Falls, the Chobe Princess (a highlight), Pom Pom Camp, Kwando Nxai Pan in Botswana, or the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, the service and food was great, and because all the details had been arranged by someone who truly knows this part of Africa, we were free to relax and enjoy everything. The animals and birds were sensational and too plentiful to describe.
The guides are very special people with great knowledge and it was wonderful to spend time with them.
Cuan was always very responsive to any request and was happy to customise our safaris according to seasons, our budget and special wishes. He suggested flying between the camps in Botswana and parts of Tanzania, and this was efficient, lots of fun and we saw the countries from the air. We even organised a week in Rwanda by ourselves for some not-for-profit activities then picked up a private tour in Tanzania, organised by Cuan to be where the great migration is in March. Needless to say the zebras and wildebeests were just where he had planned.
We will treasure our memories of this trip and are very pleased to recommend African Ubuntu Safaris to anyone who wants to visit this beautiful continent.

Thank you for helping us with our trip of a lifetime!
5/5

Thank you so much Cuan for all your help in planning and organising our safari holiday - it was an absolute trip of a lifetime and we wouldn't change a thing.
We loved all the places we went to in Botswana and Vic Falls, it was organised seamlessly - we didn't have to think about anything which is what you always want on a holiday :)
A definite highlight was Kwara camp on the Okavango Delta, the animal viewing was incredible, staff were so friendly and the accommodation was great - the safari's exceeded all our expectations.
Highly recommend African Ubuntu Safaris to anyone traveling to Africa - really hope we'll be back in touch one day to plan another trip!

Our Tanzania trip can be stated in one word-"Perfection!"
5/5

With little information to go on, we only knew we wanted to go to Tanzania and fulfill our number one "bucket list item." It was pure luck that I found Africa Odyssey on line. Sure, I was a bit skeptical dealing with a company "across the Atlantic" with no personal references to go by...but the gentlemen in the office were nothing short of professional, helpful and so willing to speak to me whenever I needed an "extra dose of assurance!"
Each detail of the trip was flawless! Their recommendations were absolutely perfect and just as they stated.
Nothing can describe the thrill of being "up close" to the SIX crossings we viewed...and no picture can capture what it is like to be just a short distance from every animal you dreamed of seeing in their natural habitat.
The guides were so helpful and so willing to share their vast knowledge of animals, plants and life in Africa.
Beyond the safari, the down to the minute flights were unlike anything we experience here in the US. I think the only delay we had was 20 minutes!! (Delta, take some lessons!!)
The pinnacle of our travels was our visit to Oliver's Camp. It cannot be missed!
All I have thought about since my return from Africa is when I can go back.

Great Experience!
5/5

I had a wonderful experience with Golden Tours. The driver was on time to pick me up at my hotel and was extremely professional. I traveled to Akagera National Park and he had a good relationship with tour guides in the park and was very knowledgeable. The entire trip took about 12 hours, with about 8 in the actual park. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable tour.

Wonderful trip to visit the chimps and gorillas
5/5

Let's Go Travel looked after us so well from the booking right through to the end of the safari. Our travel consultant Charles answered all our questions quickly and patiently. Then our guide Vincent met us when our flight arrived in the middle of the night. From that moment on he looked after us extremely well throughout with quiet efficiency and good humour and his knowledge of the wildlife especially the birds was fantastic. And he found the tree climbing lions...
All together a wonderful trip and I would recommend Let's Go to anyone planning to travel to Uganda.
