No hassle - no self-drivers/campers, unspoiled nature and lots of game to spot.

Review about Kruger National Park by Marleen
We visited Kruger for several days and saw a lot of animals and birds. We loved to stay as long as we liked at a hide or watch a herd of elephants and buffalo. Good tar and dirt roads.

Review about Phinda Game Reserve by Marleen
Accomodation is too expensive for us, but we were allowed to drive through the park and in a few hours we saw several lions, cheetahs and rhino's.

A real bush experience
We saw elephants with the biggest tusks of southern Africa, lots of other animals and birds. The accomodation was good in tents with private bathrooms, the food was very good and served in a thatched boma. In the evening we enjoyed the shows of local singers and dancers. The Tembe staff, working in the lodge, kitchen and guides, are all people of the original Tembe tribe, who used to live in this area. You can only visit the park by 4x4 or with guides, because of the sand roads. Because of the habitat of sand forest, woodland, grassland, and swampland Tembe is a unique park to visit.
Review about Ngorongoro Crater by peter the safari maniac
This is a busy busy Northern circuit favourite! You wont be alone unless you risk march to may when its raining and u may get stuck! Has become expensive for foreign tourist all of a sudden in park fees! Eden on earth a Must go to destination.
I stay at the Lutheran Hostel in Karatu not Arusha then its easier n cheaper! Even when you want to combine serengeti with Ngorongoro(same road) Try stayin at Lutheran Hostel it covers basics and good night sleep, unless you are highend ofcourse!
Review about Serengeti National Park by peter the safari maniac
Excellent Safari for first timers iand when done with Ngorongoro its worth a first time safari. IF you ever have to do two safaris in Tanzania only these are them, plan five days at least to achive maximum bang! My preference is to stay in karatu (outside )then go to safari national parks. This place is Vast!Fees have increased tremendously over the last year its not funny!

This is my favourite Game reserve and am into game reserves other than national parks ! Sable Mountain Lodge of A tent with a view is where i have taken guests in my former life as a safari maniac! There others like Rufiji river lodge (high end ) and smaller camps but try Sable Mountain lodge! Yes I used to work for David (disclosure) Coolest Yorkshire Man ! :-)
