ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME
5/5

We were able to book our trek from home with Mboni Adventures yet I have never been to Tanzania owing to the fantastic communication with Jackson the director.
We met Jackson waiting for us upon our arrival in Tanzania He drove us to our hotel where he introduced us to our climbing guides, led in the briefing and then helped us get some few items from their leasing shop at a fair price. The following morning we met with the rest of the crew at Marangu gate. The trek to the summit was challenging and got tougher as we made it higher and by the summit night I had very little reserves remaining, however Khatib the main guide took my backpack and stuck with me till I finally reached Uhuru Peak.
My special thanks go to the whole group for a safe trek and an adventure of a lifetime.

Beck could not have been more helpful. He always replied straight away to emails and we felt totally safe in his hands. The safari he found us was wonderful and exceeded our expectations.

Thumbs up for all the above mentioned...Been with Faizal on Safari and had an excellent time...He was on time and very accomodating...What stood out most was his knowledge of the bush, fauna and flora...Faizal being a field guide has grasped this knowledge through experience and this for me is a big plus...
Would definetly reccomend Bush Xplorers

Reliable, friendly and super competent.
5/5

Our trip consisted of accommodation and tours in Victoria Falls, transfers to Botswana, accommodation and photography safaris there, then transfers back to Zimbabwe. Transfers, accommodation again in Vic Falls.

My communication was with Ludwick who was amazing. He went way above and beyond normal service to make me feel confident in the organisation of our trip. It was our first time in Africa and hence, we had a lot of questions. I think we had around 60 emails back and forth in the 6 months leading up to our trip. He provided numerous options with clear pros and cons about each, as well as helping us with all our general questions.

The trip itself ran perfectly, all transfers were on time, tour guides were very knowledgeable, special mention to Polite, who took us on most of our tours and transfers. I would most definitely recommend Falcon to anyone wanting to tailor their own trip how they want to do it. We saw many other large tour groups that looked cramped and impersonal. We are very glad that we we didn't end up on one of them, Falcon had a much more personal feel.

Wonderful experience in Kenya
5/5

Our experience in Kenya was excellent. From the moment we met our driver in Nairobi, we
felt looked after and taken care of. He ensured we felt safe and shared information about the community around us, as we were driving. Our driver took us to the Giraffe Sanctuary, where we all delighted in being up close and personal, feeding the giraffes. The hotel where we spent a night was clean, quiet and had good hospitality. Our flight to the Maasai Mara was short and easy, and our driver ensured we were settled before leaving. The Angama resort where we stayed was true to its name—a place between heaven and earth. It was a beautiful place, with excellent staff. We looked forward to seeing all of the Angama staff, daily, and they were very accommodating of our son’s special diet, and our daughters’ picky eating. Our tour guide Alice was wonderfully knowledgeable about the animals, the land, the people and the history in the Maasai. It was easy to spend so much time with her, and we felt very comfortable and safe, as we drove around the Maasai. Our return to Nairobi was also smooth, and we even had time to stop in and look for souvenirs before heading to the airport. Overall, we left kenya with good memories, as the experience had been well coordinated and planned.

Still great wild life

Avoid popular game reserves. Too many vehicle safari travellers. Go to minor reserves such as Dinokeng near Pretoria. You can stay in the reserve and practically monopolize the nature. Few travellers. Safety is good opposed to typical travellers comments. Just don't do things or go to places you don't in your own country.

About: Ethiopia
A country with incredible unique wildlife and birdlife that as a avid birder was simply amazing
Overall rating
5/5

We arranged a private tour which used a Toyota Land Cruiser 4WD and our driver guide was excellent providing great insights into the local countryside, people and culture. The duration of the tour was 8 days which meant we were unable to visit some places such as the Simien Mountains. The 4WD helped access areas that mini-buses etc were unable to access. Local specialist guides were engaged in the specific areas we visited, who added a lot of value in finding and seeing the unique wildlife and bird life. The highlights were the endemic wildlife such as Ethiopian Wolf, Mountain Nyala and Menelik's Bushbuck and the endemic bird species such as Abyssinian Longclaw, White-collared Pigeon, Ethiopian Siskin, Wattled Ibis and Abyssinian Oriole. We also saw many bird species while driving between locations including Black-crowned Crane, Thick-billed Raven and three species of critically endangered vulture, in the same flock, feeding on a carcass: White Headed, Hooded and Ruppell's. Other wildlife highlights included Beisa Oryx, Salt's Dik Dik and Golden Jackal in Awash Falls National Park.

In general the accommodations were good and the food provided by them was also good and very plentiful. The staff in all locations were very friendly and could not have been more helpful. The costs of extras, where applicable, such as alcoholic drinks was also reasonable. Due to arriving in Addis Ababa in the early hours of the morning we stayed the first night there. The hotel was from an international chain, and the good thing we found was that all the hotels run a 24 hour shuttle service to and from the hotel. A couple of things we learned were to take care in checking accommodation prior to departure as some of the local hotels have problems with water etc. Also we found internet coverage was hit and miss. More importantly we found it was important to check and double check regarding allergies as one hotel in particular did not have a good process in place to address this issue.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend Ethiopia as both a unique and fascinating destination with charming people. We hope to return to visit the places we missed on our first visit.

Amazing first safari experience
5/5

While planning for the safary Mussa answered all my questions very patiently. Out guide Safe really knew his way into searching for lions and cool animals. He was very kind to try to show and teach us about every different animal and bird we encountered since it was our first safari adventure!
The jeep was so comfortable and having all that space for both of us was the best part.
The food was great, plenty and respectful with my dietary limitations, thank you Piuce!
