A wonderful trip with a five-star guide
5/5

We three families from China experienced a memorable 10-day trip during Aug 8-17 with Thinus. This is our first time to Africa, so we did a lot of prep work by dozens of emails with Helena of Crisscross to confirm all details of the trip, she is a kindly Madam with quick response, never minding of any trouble we caused.

The whole trip is organized perfect by Thinus, our guide and driver, from the moment of picking up at airport to the departure. As a son of Damaraland farmer who once named Twyfelfontein, he is affectionate to the land and very knowledgeable about the history, nature of Namibia, as well as wildlife. As a pre-employee of the government organization, he is familiar with local society, economy, culture, we really learned lots of knowledge from him while enjoying the stunning landscape and diverse scenery. If not limited by our poor oral English, we must have a more deeply communication with him and learn more.

Our trip had a compact itinerary and almost each day had a long driving, from one place to another, Thinus spared no effort to ensure us safe and comfort, he always asked whether what we see meet our expectation and tried his best to find more animals in Etosha, to make us more time shopping in Swakopmund.

In a word, Thinus is such a kind, attentive, friendly gentleman that we can’t imagine if we could have a wonderful trip without him. He and his Crisscross are really the best.

An experience for everyone to aspire to.
5/5

We had intended to take our family of 16 but the logistical problems beat us. We eventually settled for only 6 travelers and were provided with so much help and encouragement that it seemed for us a simple Operation. Of course it was not and the end result was a credit to the knowledge and perseverance of Encompass Africa that everything went without a single hitch. The itinerary was well researched by Jonathon and his team and provided us with a comprehensive overview of the huge variety of flora and fauna in Kenya The guides at the three selected camps were of a very high standard and their knowledge was entertaining and educational. We were privileged to view a huge variety of game at Amboselli, the Mara and Lewa. The decision to return was an easy one to make.

Exceptional Service - exceeded our expectations!
5/5

This was our first trip to Africa, traveling with our 2 teenage children. We were given great suggestions and guidance when we booked our trip and there was great attention to detail. I was particularly impressed with the website. Our guides were excellent, and there were no problems with our transport. We were contacted during our trip and given a local contact, who made sure everything was going smoothly. The camps were amazing and it was an incredible holiday. We are now planning to go back!

Experience of a lifetime
5/5

Traveling with Easy Travel is such a breeze! My sisters and I went on a safari trip to Serengeti and ngorongoro just last week and we had the most fun. The trip was filled with adventure, excitement and expectations that Easy Travel did not fail to meet. From our arrival to our driver to our game drives and our departure.
Our driver for the trip was sent to receive us at the airport, and that gave us good time to get acquainted to each other before we actually went on the safari. Adrian is very well versed and knowledgeable about everything around Arusha and the game parks. We definitely did learn quite a bit from him.
Before we left for our safari, Musaddiq, GM for Easy Travel gave us a very detailed briefing of what we should expect, what we should be ready for, how we should dress, what we should take and etc. He was very particular that we should know every possible thing we can!
Then comes the actual safari! We were put up at their Serengeti Tortilis Camp and that was an experience of a lifetime! They have semi-luxury tents in the heart of central Serengeti with all of the basic amenities you would get in a hotel. THAT, went over and beyond our expectations. At nights, you could hear different animals around the area- from hyenas and Buffaloes to lions and elephants. It was very exciting for us to experience that and we can never forget it.
At ngorongoro we stayed at the rim of the crater, which was also again very beautiful and peaceful.
Adrian would always update us at the end of every day as to what the plan was for the next day. I must say, he is very efficient, keeps his car spotless and makes sure his guests are always comfortable and having the best of times. He also made sure we saw all the animals we wanted to see.
I would definitely recommend Easy Travel to anyone going on safari. It is your one stop for all your needs, and they go the extra mile to keep all their customers happy. Thank you for such a valuable experience and keep doing the amazing work Easy Travel. I am sure to travel with you again!

the best tour guide in the world
5/5

From all the professional guides I've used from helicopter skiing in Canada to scuba diving 200 feet depth in Bikini Atoll, Marshall Islands, Kilele Savane Guides in Tanzania is the only professional tour guide I would recommend around the world. My time with them in a five park safari has changed my live, in a way you won't believe. If you go to Tanzania, from a professional traveler, go to Kiele Savane!!!

Java Safaris
5/5

My daughters, 9 year old grandson and I recently had the privilege of going on safari in Tanzania, and were so amazingly fortunate to have had our trip organised, with incredible attention to detail, by Java Safaris. This began when we first contacted the company, we were given personal attention by Catherine, one of the directors of Java Safaris (who is hugely knowledgeable about East Afica and the magic and wonders it had to offer) she made helpful and constructive suggestions about the places we visited, the accommodation we stayed at, that would meet our expectations. Communications with Java Safaris were responded to instantly, and all our queries etc. were dealt with comprehensively and sensitively - no small achievement when catering for a party aged between 71 years and 9 years. The advice we received was spot on, which resulted in our trip far surpassing all expectations. From the transfers from airports to accommodation both on Safari and on our extended beach trip to Zanzibar, the service was faultless. The safari tour itself was truly magnificent ( I have been on several safaris in the past with my late husband, and none of them could hold a candle to the superb tour we experienced this time) The safari vehicle itself was large, comfortable and with every amenity and extra one could wish for. The driver guide was a charming and knowledgeable man, whose knowledge of the tribes and folk lore in the areas we visited ie. Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater ( the Jewel in Tanzania's Crown) and love of conservation and above all the animals, was inspiring. The tour was an education in itself, and needless to say we saw the The Big Five. It was a trip we will always remember. I must also mention the wonderful Blue Safari arranged for us in Zanzibar, we spent the day on a Dhow seeing the marvels of the ocean, including Dolphins! Thank you so much Java Safaris for making our trip such a joy and so memorable. We will book another wonderful trip with Java Safaris next year in Kenya. Thank you guys you are the best of the best. Anyone who wants to go on Safari in East Africa can do no better than with Java Safaris.

Value for money
5/5

My experience with Gatatu Safaris was a short one as I hired one of their cars and a driver to get from Lake Bunyonyi to Kigali, about a 3 hour drive. There is not much to say about the ride, which was uneventful, but I feel that I must say something about the money I paid for it. Huge difference!! Out of the four quotes I received, the one from Gatatu was four times cheaper than the most expensive one and 3 times cheaper than the second most expensive. I would certainly recommend using their services as it looks like this is a very reasonable company trying to make a living and not trying to rip off ignorant tourists.
