Amazing three weeks trip trough north Ethiopia in a 4WD-Toyota and driver guide Jakob.
We (two couples) contacted Senait for a trip through Ethiopia based on a standard tour, but indicating which specific locations we preferred to visit in detail. At Addis Abeba airport we met Jakob from Senait Ethiopia Tours, our Driver Guide for the next three weeks through North Etiopia.
Jakob proved to be a perfect Host throughout these three weeks. Almost immediately he understood our personnel wishes, and adapted the daily program at our convenience. The brand new Toyota 4WD supplied by Senait was really needed and suitable for the roads in the region.
We crossed the several areas and the National Parks, and every day we were really astonished by the beautifull country, the animals and the local population with their local way of life and religion.
We are convinced that the experience and knowledge of our driver Guide Jakob was really needed to pass some of the local barriers without problems.
Although we were well prepared for this trip, this was really our most interesting and amazing journey for many years.

Amazing trip with Afromaxx to Tansania and Uganda in Autumn 2018
Hello Afromaxx!!! Greetings from Germany. We were now for the second time with Afromaxx in Africa on the way and also this time we are inspired by country and people and especially by the Afromaxx team. Our journey led us in the first week through Tanzania. Also this time we were enthusiastic about the animal world but also about the accommodations in the lodges. A special experience was my ascent of Ol Doinjo Lengai. A big thank you to the local Massai guide "James", who led Gabriel and me to the summit crater. Unfortunately the holy mountain of the Massai was not well disposed towards us on this day and denied us the view through the dense fog. In the descent we were compensated by breathtaking views to Lake Natron and the Serengeti Plain. Special thanks to our driver guide "Gabriel" who took care of our lost suitcase and took us safely and expertly through the country and the National Parks. In the second week we visited Uganda and were surprised by the difference to Tanzania. After a week with quite a lot of dust we experienced a lush, green country with wonderful landscapes and rain forests. Especially the animals, lions climbing trees, chimpanzees and gorillas will remain in our memory. With Kennedy, our driver guide, we also had an excellent, attentive and friendly companion in Uganda. Our thanks go once again to Gabriel and Kennedy, you are doing an excellent job!!! We don't think this was our last trip with Afromaxx, there is still enough to discover.

An above and beyond safari with Africa Flash!
I can't thank Peter (owner of the company) and John (my safari guide) enough! I am a young solo traveller and they made me feel so comfortable and well looked after for the entirety of the trip. I did a lot of research before the safari and Flash McTours definitely seemed like the best way to go!
I stayed at Zebra Plains camp, a stunning location, great food and the staff were amazing. It was also located near a shortcut into the park where we saw a lot of animals on the game drives - plenty of lions, cheetahs and even some elephants towards the end. I would also recommend taking a 4x4 jeep as some of the roads are hard to get to and if you want to have the best experience you need a good car!
From the pick up to the drop off everything was perfect, my guide John was great company and kept me well informed along the way. I got to meet Peter at the end of my trip which was such a nice way to conclude the safari. Hopefully I'll be back soon to do another safari with these guys, cannot recommend them enough!

Fantastic trip to Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls
We enjoyed our first trip with Johnnie so much that we booked this one 4 months later. Communications were a breeze, and emails were usually answered in one day, despite the 7 hour time difference. Personal service was excellent. Johnnie always ensured that our accommodations were satisfactory and remedied any deficiencies promptly. He was extremely attentive to detail and escorted my balanced-challenged husband on steps, over any rough pathways, and assisted our entry and exit from the vehicle. Upon departure he remained at the airport until we passed security, and even ran back to the vehicle to retrieve a wallet which was forgotten. We visited both Kenya and Uganda on this safari, and Johnnie accompanied us the entire 2.5 weeks, despite the fact that the Kenya portion was booked and guided through a different company. Many safari guides are excellent but few can match Johnnie’s expertise in the field. He even taught our Kenyan guide many new birds and helped all of us to see and hear them. In addition to the exciting day and night game drives we enjoyed a Nile River cruise. During down-time between game drives Johnnie and I went birding and picked up quite a few interesting new species. On our first safari with Johnnie in October 2018, we trekked gorillas and chimpanzees, and visited Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi and Lake Mburo National Parks. This past February we covered Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls. We fell in love with Uganda, and Johnnie’s safaris made that happen.

From the start of our tour Frank explain everything clearly his knowledge was above and beyond our expectations. Very interesting tour.
He checked on us during our place of stay to make sure we were comfortable and the meals were up to the standard.

Wonderful Experience - very good organisation
Dear Afromaxx Team, after my return from Uganda I and we wanted to give a short feedback. The safari tour was also this time, like the Kilimanjaro tour, excellently organized. And Robert was an excellent driver and guide. He really took care of us so that we didn't miss anything and much was "on top". You really had the feeling he loved his job, and that came across. The lodges themselves were very well selected, especially the lodge as starting point for the tour to the mountain gorillas has a unique location with a unique view of the jungle. Of course we had additional luck with our bungalow no. 6. Uganda itself is of course a beautiful country, especially the landscape, nature and wildlife. If you accept the country as it is and do not expect a western standard, are open for country and people and get involved in the African life, then you experience a wonderful holiday with warm people. In their information sheets, which they send to the customer in advance, there was, among other things, one concerning the recommended clothes for the tour to the mountain gorillas. Here it would be perhaps still very helpful to add a "piece of clothing". Namely gaiters. Even if they are actually meant for snow, they are great for misusing for muddy jungle, especially when it rains. Great hospitality, good food and and excellent game viewing safaris
We did the 5 day Kruger Park/Panorama tour and had a fantastic experience. From the outset Danny and her enthusiastic team made us feel welcome and ready to enjoy our stay. Rooms were comfortable and clean, with tea/coffee provided. Our main safari guide, Jay, was passionate and knowledgible about his job and we often went off the main roads to find exciting spotting opportunities. We were rewarded with seeing a number of rare wild dogs right next to us, as well as eyeballing 2 large rhino a few meters from us!
After returning at about 3 pm we could enjoy the peaceful Windmill Retreat gardens before gathering for a tasty homemade dinner--2nd helpings available too! On my wife's big birthday, they even made a lovely cake to celebrate--a very nice gesture and reflects Shinzelles' commitment to excellent customer service--we can highly recommend Shinzelle Safaris if you want a value for money, professional and well organized game safari experience.
