Review about Kibale National Park by Levi Jacob Morris
Probably my favorite park from my time in Uganda. Chimpanzee trekking was amazing of coarse, but there was so much more there. Many monkey species many beautiful birds. I could have very easily spent much more time here exploring.

Review about Lake Mburo National Park by Levi Jacob Morris
Had some pretty good luck birding in this park. Got to see some really good Barbet species. The big wildlife was many of the species I had already had the opportunity to see so I mostly focused on birds during my short stay here.

Review about Mgahinga Gorilla National Park by Levi Jacob Morris
The roads leading to this park are extremely rugged. The park itself is really nice, unfortunately my time here was too short to get a good feel of everything this park has to offer. That said the golden monkey trek was really good in-spite of all the rain.

Review about Murchison Falls National Park by Levi Jacob Morris
The park has some diversity of settings but the main area's we explored were the savanna habitat and the area along the river leading to Murchison Falls. There is a good diversity of antelope species and therefore predators. We saw lions but unfortunately no leopards. The river cruise was good for seeing many bird species as well as hippos, buffalo, and elephants enjoying and escape from the heat of the day.

Review about Queen Elizabeth National Park by Levi Jacob Morris
The wildlife here was in lower numbers than many other parks I visited on this trip and in Tanzania. The river cruise did have some good birding opportunities. The daytime game drives didn't do as well we did see Ugandan Kob, Elephants, and Waterbucks there was a very brief lion sighting. Perhaps I was simply spoiled by having better luck on previous game drives. We spent the better part of 3 days here and I would have gladly traded one of those days in for an additional day in Kibale or Bwindi.

LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE
Where do I even begin?! My fiance and I took a 4 day 3 night safari with Jackson in February in Tanzania (Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, Terengti). My experience with Tanzania Juvenile Safaris was nothing short of AMAZING. From start to finish this may have been the best experience of my life. Jackson (owner) was the most incredible guide, I highly recommend him! He trains his entire team though so whoever you get within his company you are lucky to have. Jackson has a smile and a laugh that instantly puts you in a good mood. He is so personable and easy to talk to (which is very important given that you may spend upwards of 10 hours in a car with him in a day). Jackson's head is constantly on a swivel ...his ears are always open listening to the radio for sightings... and he knows the terrain like the back of his hand! One of the highlights of our experience was being the first car (sometimes there are upwards of 30 cars in one location) for a leopard sighting. He spotted him in 3 foot tall grass... it was unbelievable. Jackson has a wonderful talent of predicting animal behaviour and always knew what their next move would be. For example, all the cars would be lined up in one spot and he would pull away and we were like wait where are you going? And within minutes the elephants (or other animals) would be walking within feet of our vehicle. We saw the big five (plus every other animal possible) by our 3rd day so the 4th day was just a bonus!! Do not hestitate to book with this company, you will have a life changing experience. PLEASE PLEASE reach out to Jackson privately via whatsapp +255 764 888 313

79th IUGS Executive Committee meeting and African Event
WE could spend quite secured trips from Nairobi Airport to Conference hotel, all venues during conferences and go back to the Airport safely. The office arranged some optional tours according to the requests from each guests. We spent a quite nice time at Nairobi during conferences. Most participants enjoyed the life at Nairobi.

The most incredible experience!
Where do I start with the review? It’s been that incredible.
To start, I had a flight delay which didn’t allow me to make a connection to the Mara so Martin had booked me a room for the night at the Gardens and that really helped me feel at ease and get in the right mood for the upcoming journey. The place was incredible with incredible heritage cottages!
The next morning we were off to the mara, the whole time I had a driver who Martin arranged to get which helped me get where I need to be and Mr. Stephen was the BEST! He helped me get checked in, answer questions from agents at the local airport and ensure I was taken care of. I’ve travelled lots and this was the first time that I really felt taken care of!
Now in the mara; I would have never thought that all the little details would be taken care of, but they were. The camp was so secure, my tour guides for the game drivers were incredible and tailored my drives to what I was hoping to see. The people who were working at the camp worked to know my name and what I liked so everyday I had meals that were top quality. But the views of the mara is what had my heart.
I thank you so much for the most incredible experience for my first time to east africa! I was excited but I was taken care of along every step of the journey, which blew me away. I will be back and I will book with Martin and Africa Tours!

Going off piste!
Don't follow me was on the back of the Toyota 4x4! We soon understood why 🤣.
Moses our guide from Lenchada Safaris was absolutely brilliant!
We did 6 nights + 7 days.
X2 Masai Mara
X1 Nakuru
X1 Naivasha
X2 Amboseli
Quick download, we loved Masai Mara for the chase of the animals and Amboseli for the abundance of elephants and view of Kilimanjaro! We booked a private tour at medium price range and I would definitely recommend paying a little more for at least medium priced accomodations and I'd you can private tour in a jeep! We met with travellers who went in the converted"4x4" mini bus and it's just not the same experience.
THE BOOKING
Let me start with the booking. I communicated with Alex who is the owner of Lenchada (his wife is the owner of Jockey Tours - effectively one company)
Alex was informative and quick to respond.
THE GUIDE - MOSES
Absolutely brilliant, he went off road where possible which made it fun! He always seemed to know where and when to find the animals and preps you for a photo or video shot.
Extremely knowledgeable (like an encyclopedia)
He times the great migration perfectly where we waited just over an hour. Apparently other toyr groups had waited up to 4hrs!!
THE SAFARI
Be prepared for early starts, it's recommended! Animals do not like heat, especially the ones you want to see (Lions, Elephants, Rhinos), so I would follow their agenda.
ACCOMODATIONS
Were brilliant. We enjoyed all but mostly the hotels in Naivasha because the animals run wild here, we had Zebras visiting our back porch + Amboseli, glamping style tents with beautiful views of Kilimanjaro and I really felt like I was out in the sticks, touching it up to enjoy the natural wonders of this area. It was something out of a movie but overall, in each location, the service was great!
Maasai Mara - Mara Jambo Lodge
Nakuru - Nakuru lodge
Naivasha - Naivasha Sopa lodge
Amboseli - Amboseli Lodge
Notice - the drives between locations is long but it's totally worth it! Bring a decent camera, at least a compact one. Your mobile phone will not do it justice, at least a camera can try and will produce better!
So much to say but I hope this review encourages you to go on a safari and reason to choose Lenchda!

Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and fun.
Our tour with Kefas and Suleiman was incredible. They made the entire trip exciting and fun. We were able to see every animal we had hoped to and learned a ton about them along the way. Kefas was great at teaching us about the different animals and history of the area while we explored. Not only were they knowledgeable, but we also had a great time hanging out with them for our 3 day safari. I couldn’t recommend them enough and would gladly come back again!
