Mandara Hut Day Hike
I did a day hike to Mandara Hut and had an absolute blast! We hiked to the crater which was only a short distance away. The hike was around 12 miles with 3,000 feet vertical and was not to difficult of a hike. Lunch was provided. My guide Elirehema was a joy to spend the day with. Saw a few different monkey specifies. 10/10 recommend.

Brilliant 6 day safari for solo female traveller
I was a little nervous going on a safari as a solo female traveller but it was a wonderful experience! Fiona was brilliant - she answered all questions I had before arrival and was available throughout the safari (though I didn’t need her help!). I really enjoyed the safari, we saw the big five plus so much more. The highlight was definitely the hot air balloon ride over the Masai Mara! The Cradle of Humankind is an incredible site. However, getting to it and actually experiencing it takes a lot of legwork. Going with an experienced guide made all the difference. Willem gave us context for the installations. The tour stops were incredibly useful; the museum added a rich dimension to the experience. I feel so fortunate to have found this tour.

Fantastic Experience!
My husband and I chose Spirit of Kenya for our first safari as my Goddaughter had used them for her honeymoon trip and was very happy with them. We are quite thankful for her recommendation as we had a great trip!
Our driver/guide, Michael, was excellent. He picked us up from our hotel in Nairobi and was with us for the week as we visited Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, and Maasai Mara. He is an excellent guide and did his best to find the Big 5! We really enjoyed our conversations with him and learned so much about Kenya, the different parks, the animals and anything else we wanted to know.
Spirit of Kenya offered us lodging options at each of our locations and we were pleased with our choices. You can go from "budget/standard" to "luxury/premium" at each place; we chose the premium options which were all fantastic.
Vanessa was extremely helpful in the planning of our trip. We actually booked the trip just a month before leaving and it all went very smoothly thanks to her prompt replies to my many questions. The weather was great other than an hour of rain at the Lake and then on the last day in Maasai Mara, so we were quite happy with going in April.
I highly recommend Spirit of Kenya - you won't be disappointed!
