Mikumi and Sealous Safari
5/5

We booked with DEL for a 5 day safari through Mikumi and Sealous and we were totally blown away with the whole experience. Having never visted Africa before we were unsure of what to expect but Frank from DEL was a pleasure to deal with and booked us some great accommodation and a great guide to show us around over the 5 days. 2 very different parks but totally amazing in their own way. I honestly cant put in to words how good the trip was and I can not wait to do it again. Thanks again Frank.

The tour was wonderfully organized. We were met at every transfer point. Accomodations were very good, as were the guides.

AMAZING SAFARI!
5/5

Surrounded for this amazing Savana, Vitor and I enjoyed very much our Safari. We are fully happy with our experience with "Long Way Expeditions" since the beggining of the process with the kind Ann until the amazing experience with Abubakar. Experienced guides, people who know how to explain everything about the wild life and know how to make people happy and comfortable. We hope to repeat the experience with you guys!

The communication from Seth has been amazing through out our trip he has made sure that our holiday was the best it could be. The safari it’s self was amazing, we saw many different animals and got to enjoy the views of Tanzania. We are so glad we booked with this tour company and will be telling our friends to book with them too! It truly was an amazing experience. Akuna matata

Great experience to remember.
5/5

Great experience to remember.
Teko is the owner and guide with 32y experience in safaris. He follows the traces of the animals that are printed in the sand and brings you to the animal that is being followed. Unbelievable.
Very good food and unbelievable how the cook prepares food on a wood fire. You have to experience this ... freshly baked bread, pizza, frits.
We call her the cooking doctor.
The tents were nicely furnished with comfortable camp beds and provided with blankets.
Ask half an hour in advance to shower and then delicious hot water in the middle of the Meremi Game reserve.
Simply INCREDIBLE

Fantastic Safari
5/5

Recently returned from our fantastic safari to Kenya and Tanzania. This was a customization of their normal 11 day trip, removing one stop and adding a couple nights elsewhere. Anne was very cooperative in adjusting the trip to our needs. The trip was amazing, the wildlife unbelievable. met or exceeded all our expectations. The driver knowledgeable and facilitating. We also did the Nairobi Natl Park, Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe Center with Amazing memories.
My main comments are:
1) Take the Land Cruiser. It offers more room and better air flow. Neither the Land cruisers nor the mini-vans had air conditioning.
2) Be prepared for some very bad roads and longer drives. This has nothing to do with the company, getting into and out of these parks involves long drives over some poor roads.
3) Unless budget is an issue, go with the better quality lodges. The Sopa lodges were good, but even they were not consistently great.
4) Would suggest having Anne book you something other than the Amboseli Sopa or the Oldeani. The service was poor at the Amboseli and while the Oldeani was the nicest lode of our trip, we really were not there long enough to enjoy it. Fantastic lodge, but your only there for dinner and a nights sleep. You might discuss the Serena lodges with Anne. We stopped at a couple of them during the trip. Were very nice and pricing close.
5) Would suggest skipping the elephant orphanage. Way too crowded, and short time frame in the middle of the day affected the rest of the day.
