Decent safari and kind people!
I booked a day-trip with Camposafaris to Lake Nakuru. It was a private trip since no others booked anything to this location, and it was amazing! The operator Lawrence is very quick in e-mail communication, helpful and kind. The driver Martin was knowledgeable and he really did his best to get close to the animals. And for lunch he took me (upon my request) to a real Kenyan place which was great. The drive to Nakuru is long (from Nairobi) but the many animals and amazing views make it well worth it! Only advice for Camposafaris would be to bring water. In the price 500ml water was included, but it wasn't provided. Once I asked for it we went to get some outside the park. Thank you for a lovely trip though, would definitely recommend choosing this operator!

3 days / 2 nights Mikumi - great first safari with Uhuru Travel & Tours
This was our very first safari. Mikumi NP and Uhuru Travel & Tours turned both out to be good choices for this purpose. We slightly modified the itinerary without having to pay extra for it - pick up at a city center hotel and drop off at the airport in time for our international flight back home. Mikumi NP offered everything we expected to see. One afternoon and one full day game drive provided enough time to explore the park.

Great, beyond our expectations.
We enjoyed our tour. The trip to Samburu was pleasant and our driver/tour guide was knowledgeable and worked tirelessly to provide a good experience.

Review about Kyambura Gorge by Zsolt Banyai
The most beautiful forest I have ever been to. Wide river meanders at th bottom of the gorge, hippos aplenty everywhere. Did not see the chimps, but saw a lot of birds, and some other monkeys. The view from the rangers HQ is breathtaking!

Review about Kibale National Park by Zsolt Banyai
Great place to see the chimps. I was lucky to see them 4 different times, as we hiked around the park. Sometimes they are high up on the trees, sometimes walking thepight the forest, it just depends on your luck. I also managed to see most of the other p images in the park, plus th great blue turaco around the park. Loved it!

Review about Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by Zsolt Banyai
Seeing the gorillas upclose is something that is hard to explain. We were lucky with the hike, after 20 minutes we already made it to the gorillas, but as far as I heard this is rather the apartment exception.
Be aware, that even during the dry season rain can happen anytime, like it did for me in Feb.

Spent a really enjoyable day at Kikuletwa Hot Springs with everything taken care of by Zuri.
I was recommended Zuri Tours and Safaris by a friend and went on an awesome day trip to Kikuletwa Hot Springs with them. The Springs were just beautiful, so clear and blue! It was a wonderfully relaxing day. Emmanuel and Alpha from Zuri took care of everything and made sure the day was really special. I would definitely use Zuri again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, well run safari in fabulous Tanzania.

Kyambura Gorge is amazing!
If you assess the park purely on the game drives, then it was very disappointing. There are only a few species that we saw: elephants, hippos, warthogs, buffalos, waterbucks and Ugandan kobs. However there are some activities which are excellent, making this a worthwhile destination:
1. Lion and leopard tracking with big cat research scientists. Thanks to the tracking collars we located 2 beautiful male lions, then 3 females and finally a female leopard. Going off road (since we had a ranger with us) made it even more fun!
2. Boat trip on Kazinga Channel is a wonderful way of seeing hippos, elephants and buffalos, plus water birds. Loved it.
3. Finally, the Kyambura Gorge. This place alone is worth the visit to this park. Rainforest in the middle of the savanna. The most beautiful forest I have ever been to. If you are lucky, you might find chimpanzees as well (I did not), but even without them the place is extraordinarily beautiful. You can see monkeys, birds, and the river is full of hippos.
Please keep in mind that there are about 40,000 people living in the park, and about 80,000 around the borders, so sometimes it does not feel like that you are in a national park.
Safari to Ngorongor crater, Tarangire, Lake Manyara
We had a really great safari. The driver was excellent and we saw amazing animals. We also had 3 children with us, and the driver got on really well with them. The communication before-hand was good, it took us a while to decide which lodges to go to, especially with the children
