Amazing African safari experience
Pounds East Africa Safaris offer an amazing unforgettable experience. I experienced the Masai Mara and Nairobi National Park and highly recommend both experiences. Loyce is absolutely wonderful and ensures you have a great experiences even when life throws challenges at the schedule and plans need to change for reasons beyond control. I experienced skilled guides who had incredible knowledge of the animals and parks who were approachable and genuinely care about the well-being of the animals and tourists. Loyce had clearly built rapport with local communities, restaurants and guides ensuring a quality experience for all. Pounds East Africa Safaris are trustworthy, reliable and exactly who you should rely on for an amazing safari experience.

Amazing Days!
During the days at the camp, we were well received and guided about planned programs, we had excellent guides and super safe transportation!
The tours are extremely magical, indescribable experiences from the game drive, day at Kruger Park and the panoramic route, they were wonderful days!
The accommodations at Sekekama are also great and comfortable, with wonderful food! We had some problems with the shower adjustment, which was either extremely cold or completely hot, but nothing that would affect our entire stay at the place!

Excellent 1 day Moremi tour from Maun
During April 2024 we, a party of 4, were collected promptly at 06.00am from Audi camp by Kem, who was our driver and guide for the day. The whole tour was a pleasant experience, and Kem a knowledgeable guide. The tour included breakfast at the Moremi South gate, and lunch in the middle of the bush. We can certainly recommend Shipungo Safari & Tours to other travelers, and would most definitely make use of their services again.

An amazing African experience!!! ;)
They organized a great safari for us!! With pick up at the airport, 2 days in Amboseli NP, 1 day in Lake Naivasha, 1 day in Lake Nakuru, 2 days in Masai Mara and they left us in Isibania, the border with Tanzania to continue our safari . Spirit of kenya always answered us very quickly and adjusted to all our needs, our plans and exceeded our expectations. Our guide Mike M, is a great human being, with too much knowledge, respect and love for animals. Full days of sharing his experiences and he managed to get us to see the big 5 in just 3 days. Using all his knowledge he knew where to look, where to wait to be able to have the best moment close to the animals. At a time where we were seeing a lion, another car arrived with other people and Mike with his big heart told us, sharing is caring and he moved his car, so that other people could have and live the same experience as us, which we found impressive and super kind and knew that he is a super guide , who we recommend 100%.
Thank you Mike M, for making us live such a majestic experience. Thank you Spirit of Kenya ;)

Very enthousiastic about birding, knows a lot, and is fun to be around
We've had 2½ weeks of wildlife/birding with Davis as our guide.
Unfortunately, before we've even met Davis, we've gotten very sick and wanted him to wait till we were better, because, that's what you do in our country.
In Africa it gets serious very fast, so Davis had to be very persistent that we should let him come over and take us to a hospital in Kampala.
What a start of an adventure! 4 days in the hospital, and we were good(enough) to go!
We've visited several national parks, and saw many many animals. Davis was funny, and you als can make fun of him when he might get the car in some trouble (stomkop), but things like that are just great experiences.
It was a great time, except for the sicknesses of course, but thanks to Davis we were safe!

Excellent Company & Guide
I booked a 6 day safari including chimp and gorilla trecking as well as activities in Queen Elizabeth National Park. From the start Peter Amanya was super helpful and facilitating to my needs. He was quick to reply and helped out with last minute visa issues making the whole thing stress free and inspiring complete confidence with his total professionalism.
My guide, Alex, was amazing. I could tell from the start that he was a really professional guy and for the whole time I was with him there was not a single thing I had to worry about in terms of organisation or admin. He was great at little things, and I found that by the time I'd even thought of something he had already arranged everything.
The hotels chosen were all great, as was the food throughout. Alex really knew what he was doing on the game drive and was genuinely enthusiastic about making sure I saw the animals I was there for. I also really enjoyed the crater tour in QE National Park and the boat tour.
Overall I highly recommend both Buyaga Safaris and Alex as a guide. There is no shortage of activities in this region and next time I am back I will go back to Buyaga safaris without hesitation!

Go there, but with another tour operator!
So there are many things, I don't know where to start:
- pick up at the place in Arusha was 1 hour to late, well that's Africa
- on the first day I haven't been with my safari group, there were two other woman, but they didn't make the same safari I did
- on the second day I met "my" safari group
- we saw a lion like 150m away on a tree, after that the driver couldn't start the motor and he said he wants us to push the car - with the lion not far away. No one felt safe out there and it didn't help anyway, so we got stucked for 2,5h over there
- after that it was quite late (7:30pm) and it's only allowed to drive there until 6pm. So the driver was speeding sooo fast, everyone was really afraid to die. One guy told him so slow down (pole, pole) but he reacted really unprofessional and said he has to hurry because of the rangers. He drove way to fast and brought us into several dangerous situations (water splashed all over the window, he couldn't see where he is driving, while speeding 80km/h in a park where max speed 50km/h
- driver didn't talk a lot to us
- sleeping bags and matresses stinked badly
- bad equipped campsites (no light in the bathroom, no toilet paper, no guardian in the night)
- and the worst thing: I paid way to much for this safari. Dennis charged me more than twice the price the other people from the safari spent for this trip. We had so bad accomodations, dangerous situations and he charged me for a medium price section and not for the low budget one.... I still try to get some money back for this experience
Please find another company! Nature over there is pretty, but this company just makes you feel bad and brings you in dangerous situations.
