In addition to its vast expanses of protected land, Kenya is full of wonderfully nice people. We departed for our safari from Nairobi which has a major airport and were very pleased with our experience from beginning to end. We were treated like kings and accommodated in every way. All of the locations we went to on our safari were excellent and had opportunities to see lots of wildlife and stay in interesting, beautiful hotel accommodations.
Kenya has everything you could want in a safari, though another popular destination is Tanzania, where you will find ngorogoro crater and the serengeti. In my mind, they are equal. They have all the major wildlife and amazing people. I would highly recommend a safari trip!

We loved Botswana
5/5

We had a wonderful time at each of our stops in Africa and would highly recommend Christine to anyone planning a trip to Africa. We stayed at three different safari lodges and they were all fabulous and each a bit different. The people we encountered were so exceptional and so knowledgeable, that I think we all came home feeling we had a very personal experience wherever we went.
Well done Christine!

Review about Augrabies Falls National Park by Wim Spronk
Overall rating
5/5

Augrabies is my favourite campsite with stunning views of the falls and surroundings. There is not much wild life. A few ostriches and introduced rhinos but the bird life is very good especially in the campsite.

Botswana is amazing!
5/5

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Africa! I would say it is the best holiday I have ever had and I still go to sleep at night thinking about all the amazing animals we saw.
All three camps in Chobe, Savute and the Okavango Delta were beautiful and so very different that they made the experience even better.
We saw so many animals both from land and water in Chobe that I thought nothing could top it. Then came Savute, where we had the most knowledgeable guide, as well as the most fun camp staff who went above and beyond to make our stay the best. Their songs at dinner, their formal 'sundowner' bar in the middle of nowhere, their great sense of humour and friendliness will never be forgotten.
Our camp in the Okavanga Delta was another gem. Being on the water, whether in the mokoro or on the motorboat trying to catch a fish, was very relaxing and gave us yet another perspective.

Christine Boecker's travel arrangements, with 8 of us coming from a variety of places and meeting up, were absolutely perfect. Everything went so smoothly.
I hope that I will be able to go again someday and wouldn't hesitate to use Christine's services.

Enjoyable tour with Kanuth...
5/5

We have been in Mikumi National Park. Mayko the guide knows everything about wild life. The hotel which they booked was very good. Everything was good with Kanuth. Thanks again for the incredible times...

Certainly one of the best and most comfortable game reserves in South Africa
Overall rating
5/5

Having been to most Game reserves in South Africa , my visit to Madikwe was certainly the best ever. Being able to watch game from our balcony at a small drinking hole less than 50 metres away with large herds of elephants coming to drink in addition to many other game species was one of the highlights. The area is malaria free and the scenery with unusual rock formations is beautiful. As an avid birder for many years I was thrilled with the abundant bird life. The guide we had was very knowledgeable and prepared to take us anywhere we wanted to go. We had excellent views of lion as well as black rhino. Some of my videos of this area can be seen on You Tube thespronks. (Young elephant showing who's boss and Lions Mating)

Great service, great knowledge, very friendly
5/5

We were in Namibia in march 2012. In september 2014 we go to Namibia again. It's a great country, beautiful scenery, very nice people and great places to stay. Cardboardbox arranged everything for us. They have a great car rental place. They pick you up from the airport and bring you back. If you have troubles they come and help you (was not nessecary) The website of Cardboardbox shows under lodges all the places you want to go to. I made an itinerary myself and asked them to review it. They came with great suggestions. And the they book everything for you. They can book the parks in Namibia much easier and sooner than you can do it yourself. And there are some people who say it is not to save to give every place your creditcard data. With Cardboardbox you pay them en they arrange everything. At no cost for you. They sent you all the vouchers and a lot of information (very helpful) through email. I recommend Cardboard box to everyone who travels to this wonderful country (and to Botswana)

Review about Lake Manyara National Park by Rick Johnson
Overall rating
5/5

Lake Manyara NP was our first foray into the African wildlife scene and we were not disappointed. Lions, hippos, giraffes, flamingos, baboons, elephants, gazelle, impala, monkeys, and birds, birds, birds.

The best piece of advice I can offer for Lake Manyara or any other safari is to make sure you have a good guide/driver beforehand. You might have to pay a little more for a top guide, but it is well worth the cost. If you can afford a private guide/driver, even better. Ours was exceedingly knowledgeable about the environment and the wildlife. He was able to spot and point out animals that we would have never seen our own. A place like Lake Manyara is quite scenic to drive through, but when someone is able to point out and describe things you would not otherwise notice, it makes the experience truly memorable.
