Review about Ruaha National Park by ~lustedtowander~

Although the wildlife is a bit more elusive, you will have this park virtually to yourself. And it is a vast expanse of river, woodland and grassy plain open to exploration. If you self drive, you must endure the long, rough access road. But you can camp anywhere, with no neighbors except the odd cheetah. Safari as it is meant to be.

On top of Africa with MJ Safaris
5/5

My girlfriend and me went from Kenya to Tanzania in the matter of climbing Kilimanjaro. We took a bus to Moshi and met the tour operator Jackson. In the same evening we went to a local restaurant and on our way back to our hostel we were roped. We called Jackson because he was the only guy we knew in Tanzania. He stood up in the middle of the night and came to help us. We supposed to start the climb the day after the accident but we could not because we should have made a new passport. In one week Jackson was so helpful and he took us to the hospital and the police station to get our documents. After that week we were ready to start the hike. It was the most beautiful experience standing on Uhuru peak and see the sunrise in a great panorama view. After our experiences with Jackson and his company, MJ Safaris, we can only give him and his company the best recommendation because of a service level higher that we have ever experienced in Africa before.

A very well organised and comfortable holiday.
5/5

We couldn't fault the communications, meeting at Entebbe Airport and the transfers to hotels and lodges. Our driver for the whole 12 days, who doubled up as a guide, particularly for the birds, was knowledgeable, punctual, courteous, and a very good driver. The recently refurbished lodges at Paraa and Mweya were extremely good, as was Boma House and Kyaninga Lodge. The facilities at Eco Lodge in Budongo were pretty basic. Overall a memorable holiday.

Splendid!
5/5

We went on a safari to Zimbabwe, Botswana & Namibia in september/october 2013.
Valentine was our guide.
It was a wonderfull journey; a splendid experience.
We learned so much about the animals, nature, the environment, even history.
Valentine could tell so much about all this, and in a very interesting way!
When there were little problems (on the road or with organisation or so) he arranged it all.
That's how a perfect holiday had to be.
We enjoyed this trip so much, that we will go on safari again, and if possible with this guide again.
Thanks a lot!

HE was able to answer all questions and made the tour fun throughout. The places in whch we stayed were luxury and we have come back very happy and would sugest everyone to experience this.

Southern Africa's people, animals, geography, history & contrasts were made a living experience.
5/5

Compass Odyssey's Southern Africa Safari was well organised with initial information clearly explaining what one may expect. Travelling in Namibia, Botswana, Zambia & Zimbabwe was a wonderful initiation to an area which has such diversity. Darren showed his passion for Africa & was able & willing to impart such a wealth of knowledge(history, animals, birds etc) supported by Zimbabwean driver (amazing animal spotter) Noel & cook Allen. This personal input on a real level is what made this trip stand out & be the difference from the usual travel experiences. Nothing ever seemed to be a problem for these three & helpfulness & assistance seemed to me to go beyond & above the norm. They were such good company, a wonderful tour leader, an excellent driver & a great cook (who met the needs of the group). The sights, smells, sounds, encounters, topography, accommodation , experiences were varied & immense ...... an extraordinary Southern African experience. Darren also arranged 2 great mini stays prior (Johanesburg) & after (CapeTown) which completed this whole experience to be way beyond expectations.

Best service ever with Kanuth Adventure Safaris
5/5

My trip with Kanuth Adventure Safaris was very first one to the real Tanzanian national park and it happened to be amazing Mikumi National Park. It was one of the best experiences ever to see animals so close. The service and programme was exceptional and the boys would have gone an extra mile to make sure that their customers are very happy. The tour guides are very informative and you learn a lot about wildlife on the trip. I would strongly advice this tour operator to everyone as the prices are not so high as they are with others. I am now planning to visit Selous Game Reserve and Pugu Hills Forest Reserve not far from Dar es Salaam very soon with Kanuth again. I know many other happy customers who went with Kanuth so do not hesitate and go for it :)
