We can't wait to go back and will obviously travel with E-Trip
5/5

I've been to S.A. a few times on luxury safaris. This was our first time to the Tanzania/Kenya region. Because there are so many operators, the most important factors for me in choosing a company were: price transparency, having a local office, and knowledgeable/responsive. Payment via online invoice was an added bonus.

We chose E-Trip Africa because Ben and his family are local (but he is ex-pat from US, so communication is much easier), and he was always prompt at responding, listened to what we asked for while sharing his insights, gave the price breakdowns for everything, and was obviously knowledgeable about the circuit(s) to give great recommendations. His correspondences were by far the most organized, and that carried over to our trip. Everything was planned perfectly and he met us for breakfast in Arusha. He obtained SIM cards for us ahead of time and even lent us a tripod when I left ours behind.

A lot of operators decline to show it, but line by line cost breakdown helped me choose our lodgings and transfers more effectively to stay within budget. We chose a mix of budget and luxury accommodations between Tanzania and Kenya and a small part overland and the rest fly-in and were thrilled with the trip. A lot of operators didn't want to quote both countries because of our time constraints (9-10 days) but our itinerary was a good pace for us and we were able to experience hiking around Ngorongoro, the greenness of the central Serengeti, and all of the perks of staying in the Mara North Conservancy. For first-timers, I think 3 areas was a great way to determine our favorite parts (but really they end up all being favorites) to concentrate on when we return. I do not hesitate to recommend this company to others.

A Memorable Safari
5/5

We organised our holidays in December with Features Africa Journeys.

Karanja responded to our request on time with various options and we finally settled for a 06 day tour.

The safari was incredible. The guide was exceptional in finding us the animals!

Kenya is a good choice for a first-time African safari or for all time favorite travellers like us, who call it our second home.

From the Aberdare Ranges and the majestic Mount Kenya, to beautiful and scenic Rift Valley lakes where flocks of flamingos in Lake Baringo, to the Masai Mara Reserve, a personal favorite which offers some of the best all year game viewing in a big eco system.
Our safari ended with some zen moments on Diani beach, which was recently voted one of the finest beaches of the world is also another favorite!

The overall experience, professionalism and service was excellent and exceeded our expectations.

We would not hesitate to recommend Features Africa to anyone looking to travel to Kenya.

We returned home to the Netherlands feeling happy and fullfilled!

Asante sana Features Africa Journeys, we will definitely be back!!!

The experience was good but could be more knowledgeable
3/5

Going to the Masai Mara at the end of March was a great idea, the landscape is green, beautiful and few tourists are there.
The tour I booked with Safari Line was worth the price. Food was good, the place where we sleep was okay, otherwise I thought the guide could have told us more about the wildlife and also stop a bit more on the way to see other animals than the big five. This probably depends also on the group you are with.
In general, I think we should be careful not going too close to the wildlife so that we do not disturb them, but it was clearly not the case in Masai Mara, that's also why tourists are happy at the end of the day...

3 days Nairobi city tour - safari Masai Mara sopa
5/5

Perfect time in Kenya. It was so interesting in Nairobi. Vincent did the best. But of course safari was the unique experience for us. Amos is a very good driver and an extraordinary guide, knows his stuff and loves it. He was also very flexible and attentive. The amount of animals we saw was beyond our expectations.

Thank you guys, I would definitely recommend Jocky Tours & Safaris, and especially Amos, to anyone!

An amazing experience thanks to Ker and Downey
5/5

My Husband and I usually book our own holidays but not knowing enough about travelling in Africa we thought we could use some help organizing our tour. We asked Ker and Downey to put together a tour, giving them an outline of what we wanted to see and do in a tight time frame. What Terri -Ann suggested and came up with was fantastic and just what we asked for. The accommodation was lovely, the transfers on time, the game watching terrific and everything was just perfect. With good email communication from Razaan, our personal concierge, they held our hands all they way, and we were so pleased we booked with them.

Amazing 3 day tour to the Maasai Mara Safari
5/5

We had an amazing 3 day tour to the Maasai Mara Safari. We couldn't start on time as our flight came in after the start time so we arranged with the company to pick us up from the airport and chase up to the group which was very handy :)
The ride to the Maasai Mara was an adventure in itself!! Navigating through pot holes, rough gravel roads, crossing rivers and going through local villages it was bumpy but a fun experience.
The campsite had a built in toilet at the back of each tent! We thought it was luxurious! Food was great!! One of the most tastiest egg omelettes i've had :) Dinner had a good variety too.
The safari was magnificent. We had an afternoon safari the day we got there and saw a lot of animals already, 3 out of the 5 Big Five animals; the lion, buffalo and elephant, as well as many other animals; the wildebeest, giraffe, gazelle, hippos, zebras, mongoose and antelope.
The next day we had a full day safari with a packed lunch. Our driver, Peter, was really good in the sense that he would introduce and explain the animals we spotted and also keep in contact via the 2 way radio with other drivers on where the animals were spotted and quickly race to catch it! Was exciting! and we caught the leopard which is rare at this time when we went (20-23 April)
We had the option the next day to do an early safari (or Game they call it) but we chose to sleep in because we already saw a lot of animals, we were just missing the rhino and a lion killing but we were very happy already :)
