Amazing Experience
I went on a Safari recently in February with my best friend. The tour was arranged very well -- excellent activities, hotels, and our guide - Didas - was a true highlight. We saw "The Big 5" (lion, elephant, rhino, cheetah, and leopard) within the first two days! It was very nice to have a blend of safari/beach trip as well -- Tanzania/Zanzibar combo is recommended. Maturaf planned us an amazing trip, although at times he was slightly unresponsive over email. Still, highly encourage others to use this tour provider and request Didas as their guide!

Great experience!
These are great guys who are very determined to make sure you have the best trip possible. That is, they are adaptable and always willing to change the itinerary according to your wishes. They are also knowledgeable about the places you go (Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, etc.), so you are able to learn as well as have many memorable experiences. I would definitely recommend!

Wildlife at it's best!
Richard was fast with responding to emails. We were a little nervous about paying from Sweden but it worked out perfectly. Nice guide, great chef, wildlife was amazing and the tent kept us dry. The only thing we would do differently if going again would be to bring our own sleeping bags.

Very good
We did a 9 days Safari tour with World Tours and Safaris Tanzania and the experience has been very good.
Richard and his staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Our driver and guide Frank has been excellent at spotting animals and really knew the routes very well. We saw many animals and the scenery was excellent.
The food was plentiful and the taste was okay. It did take some time getting used to but it was not bad at all.
Overall, the experience has been very good and we would not hesitate to work with Richard again on future visits.

An amazing adventure in Kenya!
With such a short amount of time in the country, I was worried we wouldn’t be able to get the full breath of Kenya’s natural attractions. But East Africa Wild planned a flawless itinerary, allowing us to see every blockbuster animal and a variety of landscapes in just 5 days. Each camp we stayed at had its own personality and boutique feel. Our safari guide was competent and very knowledgeable. Overall it was an amazing adventure!

fabulous trip to north Namibia
Just returned from 16 day safari in north Namibia expertly led by Anthony Washford. We travelled with a small group of six and our guide and leader Ant. Brilliantly organised .Ant has a passion for Africa and Wildlife.
He is very knowledgeable and resourceful and will go out of his way to show the very best on offer. We visited very remote parts of Namibia and came across amazing wildlife and landscapes. I would highly recommend this trip.

I can't imagine a better trip to Africa than
My two-week trip to Zambia was thrilling and fantastic. Almost immediately upon our arrival, I saw an elephant wandering through the grounds of our lodge. I was so amazed to realize that we were located right in the middle of the wild animals’ habitat!
There were so many exciting things: the passion of the dedicated wildlife guides; a pride of lionesses stalking some cape buffalo and giving chase right in front of our jeep; stopping to watch a group of giraffes, being mesmerized by the way they move, enjoying their alert eyes and ears; watching a leopard walk right in front us, thrilled to see this beautiful, graceful, somewhat reclusive cat. I laugh every time I think of the hysterical and endearing warthogs; I was captivated by the zebra and loved looking at their stripes. I felt privileged to be a part of it all.
All this would have sufficed, but we were also introduced to local people in intimate settings – getting a chance to see how they lived their lives and start to appreciate their reality. Tom has had close contacts in Zambia for many years, which afforded us the opportunity to meet and interact with local villagers, community organizers, and local conservation activists.
This was such a deep and moving experience for me. It was enriched and heightened by sharing it so intimately with the group. We had a lot of fun together, laughed a lot and bonded closely – all enhanced, in turn, by the magnitude of what we were experiencing together.
It’s hard for me to imagine that we could have as rich and full an experience without the insights, guidance, connections and organization offered by Tom and Laura.
I treasure the fact that I took the chance on this trip. … I’ve come home feeling fulfilled, peaceful and satiated – and thinking about returning some day.

Wonderful walking safari in Arusha NP
On my most recent trip to Tanzania (September 2015), the first park we visited was Arusha National Park. In the morning, we took a "regular" game drive through the park, on which we were introduced to Tanzania's wildlife slowly but surely--we saw monkeys, birds and giraffes, among others. What makes Arusha NP special for me, though, is the walking safari we took in the late afternoon the same day. For obvious reasons, you can't get very close to most animals on foot (which is a good thing, of course--I would not have wanted to be any closer to the herd of buffalos we saw from afar), but we still managed to see a pair of giraffes less than 50 m away. Walking through a national park certainly puts things into perspective, especially the size of both the park and the animals. It feels very different walking paths similar to the ones you've already driven across, and gives you a new appreciation for safaris as a whole. It also adds to the "bush vibe" of the entire country, because it feels like it's just you and the animals.

Zohar African Safaris is an excellent provider of private and package tours.
Our third safari, this was with Zohar African Safaris. We specified game reserves and duration at each. Lilian Maximillian, Proprietor, provided knowledgeable suggestions to blend in cultural activities with our itenary on the Tanzania Northern Circuit. A special benefit was her familiarity with current game activity and routing for best sightings. She personally greeted us at beginning and end of tour, while maintaining contact throughout for any additional needs. Total cost outlay was very competitive and at low cost for a private tour.
Lilian assigned a seasoned guide, Sammy Sikombe, who would become a special friend beyond his leadership. His years of elephant field research were combined with superb knowledge of wildlife activity, habits and locales. He consistently positioned us for best viewing for wildlife imagery.
I have a wonderful set of images and say with sincerity this tour simply exceeded all expectations. I've recommended Zohar to my daughter, son-in-law and anyone interested in Tanzania safaris. Gerald McCormack

Just Excellent Service
We booked our recent holiday/safari with Wildtrek Safaris and we were certainly not disappointed! From the starting moment of our enquiry to the detail and personal attention to detail we couldn't have asked for more. We were met at the airport in Nairobi dropped off at our hotel and the next day we had a personal excellent driver and tour guide to show us the sights and there are no surprises. What was promised to us was what we got and more with personal recommendations on our safari to the Masai Mara.
I can't thank them enough for their personal attention to detail in making sure we were not just happy but delighted! We will commend and definitely recommend this company to all friends and corporate friends!
