They made our honeymoon experience feel like heaven on earth
My wife and I have always wanted to visit Nairobi Kenya and so after our wedding we decided to go there for our honeymoon. Initially, we didn't wanna go for a Safari since we thought we couldn't afford but then we visited the offices of Surf Africa Tours to look for alternative hotel accommodation. As we were waiting to be served, we over heard a price quote for a gentlemen who had a son called Daniel and immediately my wife jumped on it and sure enough we got a very reasonable price for a complete Safari which included a tour from Nairobi - Masai mara- Naivasha- Nakuru and back to Nairobi. We had a blast through out, they were professional. knowledgeable and fun people to be around. Some parts of the roads were a little rough but the drive was extremely good and careful. We would like to come back and use tem again and again. Thank you Surf Africa Tours, you rock...:)

Everything we hoped for and more.
We stayed at Bayethe lodge - quite a drive on rough-ish tracks from the main road (a positive!)
Our ranger was superb - great knowledge and personality, also properly respectful of the animals. Organisation of game drive programme was very good and we were able to get close up experience of elephant, zebra, giraffe, black and white rhino, hippo, lions and cheetahs.
Accommodation and food was very good with plenty of opportunity to spend time with fellow guests at meal times.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Weather was great - warm/hot during the day, chilly mornings and evenings.
Overall - fantastic experience.

Fantastic trip to Masai Mara!!
We could not have wished for a better trip to the Masai Mara with Great Horizon Trails! From the moment we entered the park there was an abundance of wildlife and our expert driver and naturist was so knowledgeable and gave us a lot of interesting information. He had a very keen and eye and seemed to be able to see creatures from miles away. We saw all of the Big 5 and many other animals too. Our camp was great and the food was amazing. We certainly didn't go hungry! Overall an absolutely fantastic Safari trip creating some amazing memories. Thank You!
excellent tour
Everything was perfect.communications, transport, the safari, the guide knew where to find the animals. Saw the big 5 and everything else. Very happy
Most of the game was at the watring holes.
We did not see as much game driving around as we saw in other parks. possibly because Zimbabwe allows hunting. However, at the watering holes there was a large concentration of animals and birds. There were some rock outcroppings that added variety to the scenery, which for the most part was dry and flat. The accommodations were especially nice at Kashawe Camp, probably the best out of the four camps we visited. The food was very good, and we had nice sunny weather with cool nights. Our guides were excellent, very friendly and very knowledgeable. The people at the camp and the guides certainly make a visit to this camp a valuable experience..

An unforgettable experience I wish I could repeat.
I miss the sounds of the zebras. They often could be heard yip-yapping in the distance, especially in the morning and the evening.
When Africa is number one on your bucket list, where do you go next? I was beyond lucky to be able to experience this once-in-a-lifetime journey, but please, oh please I don't get to do something this amazing just once.
I tried to be present in every moment, to enjoy every day, and sometimes put the camera down and just watch. There was one moment, while closely viewing a pride of lions, three ladies decided to walk toward our vehicle, each getting closer than the last until the final lionness walked right beside the vehicle staring at each one of us before disappearing behind the rear of our open jeep. Indescribable.
One of the great disadvantages of time is that it keeps marching on, and once that time has passed it cannot be repeated. Sometimes an experience is so perfect all you'd like to do is just repeat it.
The air was warmer than I thought it would be in November, and after a nice long day it was so refreshing to jump into the cool infinity pool near the edge of the fence, and watch the rhinos and wildebeest that lived beyond it.
The people were kind and eager to share their lives with us. I remember moments like our safari walk with James, watching the Maasai dancers, and learning so much from our loyal and informative guides. Some experiences with the Maasai people are so magical I will keep them just for myself.
The food was delicious, so many tastes and smells, of ginger and curry, and bright vegetables. You might ask if they use organic food - of course they do, but they just call it food. If you are not a soup person, don't let that stop you - Kenyans know how to make a great soup.
To be able to finish this trip with a hot air balloon at sunrise was definitely the icing on the cake, to see the lions from above, and the elephants and giraffe. Photos don't do it justice. The hot air from the balloon burner on your neck, the sun in your face, the wind in your hair - floating over the Masai Mara without feeling like you're moving at all.
Please tell me I don't get to do something this amazing just once.
Africa, you are my favorite.

The more I reflect on this trip, the more I appreciate how great it was, a once in a lifetime trip.
Knowledgeable and skillful Gabi and Guido took the extra step to ensure we were witness to over 40 species of mammals and 180 birds at play, at feeding, mating, at rest and at surviving. Phillipo added his touch of humanness, humor and warmth to the Masaai Magic staff. Food, lodging, transportation were also excellent. So much fun being a part of the "5M" tour. Have been raving about this trip to friends and family.

Out of this world 8 day tour with Gorilla Trek Africa
Words cannot describe how amazing our tour with Gorilla Trek Africa was. My girlfriend and I did a 8 day trip with the company through Rwanda. Nicholas was superb at organising our bespoke trip. We started in Kigali and made our way to Nyungwe Forest where we saw the Chimps, Colobus Monkeys and hiked to the waterfall and walked in the tree canopy. A great start to the trip. Only to be outdone by the beautiful Volcano National Park where we saw the gorillas, golden monkeys and hiked Volcano Bisoke. A special thanks to our amazing guide William who took care of us throughout the tour. He was excellent in every way possible with detailed country information, history and a warm personality. Thanks to Gorilla Trek Africa and William. We will be back and will certainly travel with you again!

Unforgettable and most memorable experience
We had high expectations .... it was all of enriching, exilerating, exciting, tranquil and breathtakingly beautiful .... Exceeding all our expectations. Martha was the most wonderful tour organiser and guide .... we could not have asked or wished for better - she never ceased to care about us and every effort was put in to ensuring we had the best experience possible. Her knowledge, professionalism, friendliness and incredible attitude and approach should serve as an example to all tour operators. We will be back for more!!

Awesome trip
Wonderful experience. We saw elephants, giraffs, lions, hippos, antilopes, warthogs, crocodiles, different monkeys and a lot of beautiful birds(+walked with rhinos) etc. And the guide explained about the animals for us. It was a trip of great quality!
