Combine the crater with the Serengeti and you really see incredible variety of animals and a good chance viewing all of the big 5.

If you are patience and are prepared to get up early in the mornings you will boast you chances of spotting wildlife.

4 day safari
5/5

Just before Christmas, we went for a four-day safari with Northern Circuit. It was a perfect experience. We flew to Kilimanjaro airport, where some-one was waiting for us. In Arusha, Michael told us how everything was going to work. We had a jeep for the five of us, with our own cook and driver. The food we had there, was the best during our whole stay in Tanzania. We slept two days in tented camps (perfect accomodation, you have your own bed, toilet and shower per tent) and two days in smalll tents, in the middle of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We saw the big five and a lot more (big migration). We felt very comfortable. Northern Circuit Adventure is very much recommended by me. Michael responds very quick at questions send to him by mail. He is nice guy. The safari was very good value for money.

Fantastic service and knowledge
5/5

From the moment I was met at the airport by Sylvester and Nicholas, to when Nicholas and I returned to Nairobi, I have nothing but good things to say about this company. The communication leading up to when I arrived in Kenya was excellent - and often was just checking that there was nothing more that I wanted to know. Once on safari itself (we did four national parks/reserves), Nicholas couldn't have been more helpful as a driver/guide. His knowledge of animals, plant life and birds is extraordinary. I especially liked that he talked to other drivers on the CB to find out which spots were 'hot' with animals to see. He even pulled an Africanised Bee stinger out of my back - that definitely is going beyond the call of duty. I'd use these guys again in a heartbeat.

More than just a safari
5/5

This was more than just a wild animal safari--although we saw many more animals than we expected, and in their natural habitat. We have fond memories of the night sounds in the safari camp...the distant roaring of the lions and the morning wake-up call of the superb starling. We watched genets in the rafters in the evening and dik diks outside the door as we drank our morning coffee. Alex and Allen, our two guides, also focused on many social aspects of Africa. We visited a self-sustaining orphanage founded and run by a local Masai nurse, a new high school in Arusha and a facility for disabled artists, using recycled materials. We were privileged to listen to a newly formed Masai Women's choir singing African music in the Marti's Lutheran church and to visit several indigenous societies, including a Masai village, a Datoga tribe making jewelry from found metal objects and the elusive Hadza hunter gatherer tribe. Our guides were very knowledgeable not only about the ecology of the animals and the land but also the history of Tanzania and of the lives of the Tanzanian people we visited. We gained a deeper respect for both the beauty and the humanity of Tanzania, as well as the well-documented wildlife. Our experience, including the contribution of our guides' knowledge, very much exceeded our expectations.

fantastic experience!
5/5

it was our first Safari experience and we are so happy we have selected the right partner! thanks to the team around Iris and Jordan the planning was super smooth and a million thanks to James, who has taken care of us along the trip, shared his knowledge, his stories and most importantly always was there where it all happened!! I cant event count the number of animals we have seen. .. around 40 lions, cheetahs and yeesss leopards and hippos. Basically 4 out of the big 5 :) ... we just missed the Rhino because we decided not to go to Ngorongoro crater. James has it all what it needs to be your perfect guide: knowledge, a great network with all locals, a unique sense of where it all happens and most importantly: a great sense of humour. Thanks to James we had a stunning Safari experience. I miss even the pumpy off-road-experience :) and still a lot of pictures are coming up... a sky full of stars (a childhood memory), wowowow sunrises and sunsets and and and. We'll be back !!! Thanks a million to the team of TSA!

A First-Class Experience! Loved It!
5/5

Does a hip, comfortable, clean and eco-friendly banda on the beach sound cool? Well how about a safari conducted by knowledgeable guides that includes lunch on the river? Do you like great meals with prompt service and friendly smiles? I got all of that and more at Tent With A View - Saadani. I couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations and service. They really go that extra mile to provide a unique experience...one that still has me raving to friends. If the owners David and Tara Guthrie are there, make sure you grab them for a chat. They are very entertaining and just flat-out good folks! And ask David about his elephant conservancy. Not only is it fascinating, it's also an important effort to save one of Africa's most majestic animals.

To sum up, my vacation at Saadani was a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Outstanding!

Excellent 6 Day Safari Experience
5/5

I spend with my girlfriend a 6 day Safari with Kili slope and I can recommend them without any doubt.

Our manager David organized everything very well. He took care a lot and if there was any issue we could tell him and he took care of it. Furthermore we were as well very happy with our guide Sigi. He has a lot of experience and it was amazing how he could spot animals. Maybe it was look, maybe not, but we have seen many animals, including the so-called „big 5“ (even though that was not our main target). As the manager David, our guide took care a lot about us: He is very responsible about his clients as well about the nature and we appreciated the time with him a lot.

I hope we will have the chance to repeat such an experience, thanks Kili Slope!

Great guide, great adventure
5/5

We (three people) went on safari with Chabo Africa to Ruaha NP. Although it was not the best season, it was awesome. Ernest, who happened to be our guide but also who is the founder of Chabo, drove us in many places in Ruaha for almost three days. He was
- very competent: he knew all about animals and even fauna. He studied a lot on these topics plus he has an amazing experience in Tanzania's parks as ranger, cook, guide (and maybe even something more!).
- very professional: he planned the games in advance and matched his plans with our wishes so as to get the best experience for us
- very helpful and friendly: any time we needed some help, also on the way from Iringa to the park, he was always there for us. He is very kind-hearted.
As we are thinking to come back to Ruaha NP to see it during the dry season, we will definitely do it with Chabo Africa. No doubts!
