Top quality service.... I can't recomend them enough!!
5/5

I'll keep this sort but to the point!

We hired 5 vans over a one week period, for 24 guest, and it was fantastic. The service was professional, the drivers were fun and cheery, and the vans were modern.

I've lived and worked in Kenyan most of my life, so I speak from experience when I say they are a SOLID company and one you can trust!

I will be recommending them to all my friends, family and everyone else.

If I died after this it would be with a smile on my face !

So I wrote a wish list , called Cuan at Ubuntu and he turned the list into an itinerary and then some !
I was smart enough to listen to his suggestions and keep an open mind.
Never heard of Tanzania , didn’t know where it was - now I’m going back within 12 months of the best experience of my life to do it again.
I travelled for a month on my own , a couple of tours , some time on my own - never felt unsafe.
"Dad" greeting me at the airport upon landing made me feel like I was not alone - thank you Mr McLaren.
I embraced each and every country , throwing myself into the additional opportunities and most importantly just stopping to take it all in whilst filling my lungs with air so sweet I thought I was dreaming.
99% of the accommodation was more than expected ,one was a little run down but the views more than compensated for an old "tacky" room.
In short , I saw what I wanted and more than I thought I ever could. The beautiful people and cultures , the long and sometimes painful history’s and then there is the landscape and those animals - heaven .
Highlights
• Meeting the Maasai people in Tanzania , the gathering of the great migration in the Serengeti ( millions of Zebra and Wilder beasts )
• Standing at the top of the Ngorongoro Crater – A crater on top of the world filled with animals. Put this in your list.
• Victoria Falls , walking with Lions , seeing the Maasai Giraffes for the first time – yes they do exists
• Elephant Sanctuary in Hazyveiw along the Sabie River ( Panorama Route)
• Trying to remember all the names of the various animals !
• Seeing the top five and more – African Wild dogs , Black Rhino as well.
• The various tribes allowing us a glimpse of life , dance , music , food and culture. The beautiful kids.

My tip , in whatever country you are blessed to visit , learn to say hello and thank you in the native language.
Not only is it fun , but your hosts will love you for it.
Write that list , send it to Cuan and let him make those suggestions - you will not be sorry.
Ubuntu - the word has strong meanings in Africa - You’ll find out !

Authentic and thrilling experience, never to forget, thanks to Kalahari Skies!
5/5

I really enjoyed a wonderful safari in Botswana, thanks to the perfect organization, kindness, excellent cooking and incredible expertise of fauna and flora of Eddy & Mano and their Kalahari Skies-team. Camping in the middle of wildlife is an extraordinary, authentic and thrilling experience, never to forget. Thank you so much, Eddy, Mano, Tumello and Lennert! I hope we’ll meet again in Botswana.

Excellent Tour Company!
5/5

If you are shopping around for a good tour company, look no further. You will find Stephen and his team at Cul Tours to be knowledgeable, professional, and completely trustworthy. Throughout our experience the owner, Stephen, was very efficient with email communications, understanding of our need to keep the budget low but still have an enjoyable experience, and extremely patient with all our questions - even when I asked for proof of his physical office before I sent the deposit!

My niece and I were met at the airport by Stephen (and had our first concern erased of whether the person you've been communicating with online will actually materialize when you arrive!), and introduced to Milton, who was our guide for our 3-night trip to Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth parks. Milton was great: extremely punctual, very knowledgeable about many subjects - wildlife and otherwise - and a lot of fun! He was well-connected with many other guides in and around the parks and they were constantly sharing information about which big animals were where. One evening we were just about to head back to the lodge (Bush Lodge - great place, amazing food!) and Milton stopped to chat with another guide and learned about a lion sighting in the park. So we turned around, went racing back into the park (despite the fact it was about to close) and saw not just one lion but an adult male and female and 6 young ones! We talked to many others back at the lodge who hadn't seen the lions and we may have missed them as well had Milton not taken that extra initiative.

On our final day we had a quest to see some elephants (we happened to have a couple of cool, wet days in QE park so they weren't easy to spot) and again Milton went the extra mile, checking the usual elephant hangouts, asking around the guide network to get some tips. We had a couple of false alarms but just as it was getting late he stopped the truck and pointed through a little clearing in the trees where the elephants were enjoying themselves by the water. Mission accomplished!

Our experience was first-rate from beginning to end. Stephen runs a very professional operation and I can recommend them without hesitation!

Great Tour in Ruanda
5/5

The tour was very well organized and Faruk our guide did an excellent job.
He was very competent, reliable, sensitive to our wishes. He knows a lot of the country and its people. His English is excellent. Faruk is a good driver (the car could be a little newer). For us it was obvious that he loves to be a tour guide.

We are a family of five and it was truly memorable and special holiday. Everyrhing was excellent!
5/5

Right from the time we asked for a itinerary our experience was great. Maturaf was helpful, listened to what we wanted and accommodating. Our guide on safari was superb very knowledgable and well spoken he ensured our safari experience was superb. The lodges were fabulous, the surprisingly good. We had 9 days in Tanzania followed by a beach holiday in Zanzibar including a day in stone town. We loved it and regional tours took all the hassle out of our trip. We would highly recommend them and if you can Arun to guide you even better.

Africa Safari Review: Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, Nairobi, Gorilla Experience
5/5

I have been dreaming of going to Africa for over ten years and this year that dream finally came true. Our travel company was wonderful (Steady Safaris Uganda Limited) - particularly our agent who helped us every step of the way (Carlos Olaaka). I gave him some vague ideas and s
he came up with a wonderful itinerary and recommendations on where to stay. We went through several iterations and our agent was always helpful and very responsive. If I contacted him during business hours I never waited more than an hour or two for a response and many were much faster. Every partner they worked with in Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya was very professional, on time, and provided excellent service. Honestly, after having visited I would imagine that you can't go wrong - everyone we met had nothing but positive things to say about everywhere they had been. If you're on the fence or worried, don't be!! Everything was taken care of every step of the way and I felt 100% safe and cared for the entire time.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of our trip?

We were fortunate enough to see FOUR leopard on our trip - a mother with two cubs and another with a kill in a tree. We saw a pride of lions feeding on a zebra that must have been killed during the night. We didn't see the actual hunt but we saw one of the splinter groups that split off and even that was pretty incredible - zebras and wildebeest everywhere in Kenya. The absolute craziest thing we saw was a group of crocodiles eat a hyena. It was the most awesome and horrific thing I've ever seen!

And the highlight was the gorilla trekking
