We decided to go for the company giving real time response, value for money and most importantly an outstanding service. My wife and I spent 5 days in Uganda. We were interested in seeing the amazing mountain gorillas and also doing some white water rafting on the nile. Lucky for us, the guys at Encounter Safaris organised all of this for us before we even got to Uganda. Communication with Chris prior to our adventure was fantastic, he always answered our questions in perfect time. Our experiences during the adventure were sentational, our driver/guide was Feni and he was brilliant in making sure my wife and I were always comfortable and it was a pleasure to hear all the knowledge he had to share with us about his great country. A true highlight from this adventure were seeing te mountain gorillas, but also at one of the lodges called Broadbill camp which the Encounter team had organised for us to stay at...a wonderful adventure with wonderful company.

The sopa hotels are great! Amazing food, beautiful rooms! Lake Nakuru is nice, you won't see as many flamingos as you think, but the hotel is just beautiful! lake neivasha is beautiful you can take a risky boat trip to see hippos, quite an adventure!
At the beginning I thought the tour was to expensive, but I spoke with other tourists at Masai and they told me they payed more than us and were not even staying in nice hotels..
so i totally recommend this tour!
Peter helped us even at our last day at Nairobi he gave us a city tour!

Amazing honeymoon - Uganda Tanzania - 3 weeks private tour
Contacted Tony from Mamaland after a positive reference from my brother and reading only but positive reviews about them online .. and yeah they're amazing , they gave us the honeymoon we've dreamed of !!
Honestly, looking back now, we would do exactly the same honeymoon: same company, same route, same accomodations, ... not change a thing ! That says it all, no?
Tony is a fantastic, warm, friendly, flexible and passionate tour-guide, bird-lover and football-addict with an astonishing knowledge of nature and culture, not only from the countries they offer tours for, but also from many other countries in the world !
The contact through mail went very fluent. Tony proposed a route based on our interests and available days and we were able to adapt both the route as the accomodations, based on things we've read online and from other tours.
Of course, Tanzania (Ngorongoro and Serengeti) has amazing NP's, unique in their type and is a must see! But Uganda as a country has suprised us very positively as well, especially the people's hospitality and the variation of activities and sights throughout the country (rafting on the Nile, seeing the big 5 in Murchison Falls, doing walks with birds and monkeys in the crater area, seeing the gorilla's in Bwini, etc etc). Yep, a true undiscovered pearl!

Nice trip
We had a great safari with Elena and Mahu. Elena is extremely knowledgable and seemed to know exactly what we wanted to do and/or see and when. She has an extraordinary ability to track down whatever animal we wanted to see! Mahu was great as well, very obliging and eager to please and very dedicated to explaining everything to us in great detail. They were both great with the kids too, which is an added bonus!
