unforgetable trip and wonderful experience
5/5

Our safari was very well organized and we had great hotel accommodations with excellent service and a very professional personal driver who had 15 years of experience. Communication was very efficient and pleasant. We had a fantastic journey; thank you for giving us the trip of a lifetime!

Basically a well-organized safari, but tour description was not correct
4/5

We were a bit late to book the safari tour, but the communication of Bush Routes was fast enough to have the tour fully planned before our vacation started. The price however was a bit higher than initially displayed on safaribookings.com. Due to our late booking we should pay the safari at the time we got picked up in DAR, but unfortunately we had some problems with the ATMs there (and did not bring enough money with us to pay the whole tour). Thanks to Bush Routes that they drove us to several ATMs, so we still could manage to start the tour just with a little loss of time.
The tour itself then was well organized, with just one drop of bitterness...:
Actually in the tour description it was written that we will have a "knowledgeable English speaking driver/guide". And we cannot confirm this at all! Okay, we had a very knowledgeable driver (thanks Alfons) and he always brought us to very good places to see all the animals and made the Safari fantastic. Unfortunately he cannot speak English very well, so he could not share his knowledge with us... And we had another guy who was said to be our guide, but actually he was a trainee and was just starting to become a guide. For him it was the first time in the National Park as well and he had no knowledge about all the animals. His English was better than the driver's one and he understood the basic things, but did also not understand us when we were asking something about the animals or environment or anything else. That was a pity, because we thought (and we wanted) to get some more background information about everything. Anyway, he tried his best and was very friendly, was always looking if everything is okay, organizing the meals etc...

Nevertheless, this was not part of the tour description and if it would have been written correct, we would probably have booked another tour. For us it was important and this costs 1 star of the overall rating... The rest was fine and if someone is not very interested in the background information and just wants to see animals I can recommend this operator with no doubts.

Best safari experience ever
5/5

From the moment I contacted William from Bramwel Safaris, I knew we had chosen the right company. His communication with is left no stone unturned, and he planned the ideal safari for us. Prices were much cheaper than other companies offering the same tours, so I thought they would scrimp on the accommodation. I was very wrong. We had an excellent standard of accommodation, with Ngorongoro being the real highlight for wildlife and 5-star accommodation. Our trip to Zanzibar was wonderful, once again having excellent accommodation right on the beach. Our safari guide Julius was given the nickname "Eagle eyes" as he could spot animals where we couldn't see anything. He gave us all the time we needed to get those 'once in a lifetime' photos. As I had injured my knee, and would have trouble getting in and out of the vehicle, Julius went out of his way to have special steps made for me to ensure my safety and comfort - that was going beyond expectations. Highly recommend using Bramwel Safaris - you won't be sorry. They are the best and provide very comfortable travel for those bumpy safari roads. Enjoy your "African massage" with Bramwel Safaris!

3day Iringa/Selous safari
5/5

We travelled off season with a 5y old, and Kathy was great in adapting the trip to our need. It all worked out very well, and the safari camp was lovely. Great service and great people, can easily recommend Breakdown Safaris.

fantastic holiday courtesy of wecam safaris family
5/5

It was time for me and my fiance to take our annual leave and since she preferred Kenya and we booked with wecam safaris
Their services are exceptional. You are made to feel at home miles away from home. Masai Mara rocked. the exclusive game drives were extremely fruitful. Your drivers rock. He knows mara better than anyone else. I was particularly impressed by the early morning drive. I and Mitchell enjoyed having to watch Lions hunt in the early mornings and lunch sessions.

Kenyan white sand beaches were exeptional. We wont forget the experience wehad at Diani beaches.

Thank you the Wecamfaimily and special greetings from Mitchell

A Day Well-Spent
Overall rating
4/5

While staying at Rukiya Safari Camp in October, 2017, we enjoyed a full day's drive in Kruger National Park on the 20th. Our guide wisely had us up and out of camp very early so that we could arrive at the gate before opening hours. If you delay too long, you may find yourself waiting in line at the gate! With no queue at all, we entered Orpen Gate at 6:30am and drove east. Traverse in Kruger is limited to the tarmac roads, so sightings are limited to what can be seen from the pavement.* That said, there is no shortage of animals within view. We enjoyed sightings of cape buffalo, impala, elephant, giraffe (including a tiny calf), kudu, zebra, wildebeest, steenbok, hippo, vervet monkeys, baboons, and all manner of birds including white-backed vultures, a brown-headed parrot, and black bellied bustards. We enjoyed short stops at clean comfort stations (with lovely views) and spent our lunch break at the very scenic N'wanetsi overlook on the Mozambican border. The previous day's visitors were unpleasantly surprised to find the on-site restaurant closed (without explanation), so we planned ahead and brought a packed lunch. We enjoyed the remainder of the day's drive and didn't leave the outer gate until 5:30pm. To view notes and photos from my visit, please see https://sway.com/iceKprWZZflXVlQB

* The on-road restriction is required because Kruger allows tourists to self-drive. Staying on roads ensures that visitors are safe and environmental damage is minimized.

An Amazing Experience
5/5

Kathy & Fanuel were great guides. They provided an awesome cake for our daughter's birthday while on Safari in Ruaha. The vehicle with a pop-up roof is the best way to view the animals in the park. The car was nice. We have visited several parks in Tanzania while driving our own car, however, the experience they provided was so much better!! This was the closest experience we have had in Tanzania with the animals. Kathy & Fanuel were very friendly and knew a lot about the animals. Definitely will be recommending them to everyone.
