I booked a 4-days northern Tanzania safari on my own at Passionate Guides due to limited time. I can highly recommend booking your safari trip at Passionate Guides, whether it be for short or long duration, whether it be solo or in (small) group. Furthermore I can highly recommend booking the photographer Fahad Fuad (https://www.fahadfuad.co.tz/) if you want nice and professional pictures. He is a true artist when it comes to wildlife and travel photography. It is not always easy to travel alone in a country you don’t know, and especially for this, Beatus the owner of PGT accompanied me during the whole trip and made sure I got a personalized, professional but warm treatment. This trip has been by far the best experience of my life in terms of booking with tour operators and I felt surrounded by family/friends rather than strangers. They live up to their name; which originated from feedback of clients. Booking with Passionate Guides is worth every single penny of your investment and if I could give one advice it is to book your trip as long as you can. If I can give another advice it is go for Fahad if you want the best pictures. They will listen to you, adapt to your needs and make sure you get the best experience and capture. I decided to listen to advice instead of starting the trip with a lot of demands and expectations and I would recommend this approach to anyone. Magical and Amazing

I have done the 3 days camping safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater and it was just perfect and an unforgetable experience. The booking process couldn’t be easier with Humphrey, he was always avaiable and helpful, answering all my questions. All the transfers from the Airport to the Hotel or from the Hotel to the Safari were always easy and flexible. The safari itself was magical and just crazy. Thanks to our guide Hozza, he was very knowledgeable and kind, making sure we all were happy and satisfied. We were able to See the Big 5 and many more animals. The chef Isak always cooked the best food and made sure we were prepared for the day. I would definitely recommend this experience, it was very special! Thank you Cubs Expeditions.

Amazing experience!
Uganda is incredibly beautiful and a Paradise for nature and wildlife lovers. Peter was always trying to be available for us during the trip pero and went beyond the line to exceed our expectations. Derick, our guide, was simply AMAZING. We really loved him being our guide. He explained many things to us and is very easy going not to mention his driving skills. Communication with the company was very good from the start. It was nice and easy creating our itinerary with them as they always found a way to adapt every activity to how/when we wanted to do it (This wasn’t possible with other companies we spoke to before).
A very special mention to our safari guide Kapande, because honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better person for our first safari and honeymoon trip.
Kapande is very attentive, helpful and friendly, he always made sure we were comfortable and safe, he made our experience really fun and we learn so much from him! You can tell he loves what he does and he knows so much about the animals and the parks! He did everything he could for us to see the animals we were most interested in.
We were truly sad to say goodbye to him after our 5 days safari but now we know we have a friend in Tanzania.

He patiently answered our many questions and catered to our needs, offering a fantastic package that combined quality and value for a 5-day safari. Our itinerary included Tarangire, Ngorongoro Highlands, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. The package covered accommodations, game drives, and a fantastic tour guide, making this an experience we will always cherish.
From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were warmly welcomed by both Issa and our experienced guide, Cornell. Their professionalism and friendly vibes immediately put us at ease. Cornell was, without a doubt, the best guide and person we could have hoped for to lead us through the stunning African savannah. His deep connection with nature, passion, and extensive knowledge about wildlife and its symbiosis enriched our journey immensely.
Throughout the trip, everything was flawless. We saw all of the Big Five, and even in the last 20 minutes of our game drive on the final day, we spotted the nearly extinct rhino! Cornell not only excelled as a tour guide but also became a good friend.
The accommodations, food, and service included in our package exceeded our expectations. Issa’s itinerary was perfect, giving us the unique opportunity to stay inside some of the parks—an experience that was the cherry on top of the cake!

We booked the 17 Days Wildlife Safari Tour with Armaye being our main interest the photography of wild life. The offered tour was a perfect match to our needs. From the very beginning, Armaye provided a lot of information, the communication was fluid all the time, he showed also flexibility to adjust details of the itinerary, giving us a high level a confidence with his knowledge and professionalism. Upon arrival at Addis Ababa Airport, everything run smoothly and attached to the planned schedule. Armaye is a great guide and companion for this kind of challenging safaris, where long distances must to be covered different transports and the visits to remote areas of the National Parks are a must to spot the targeted animals. Our high expectations were surpassed!! The two drivers were great, at Simien Montains National Park, he was an expert animal spotter too. All the local guides, in all places where needed, were very good. At the National Parks, the expert eye of Armaye was invaluable, also his sense of photographer, we enjoyed every minute spent with Armaye.
Regarding the tour organization, it was perfect, and Armaye was all the time checking our particular needs and taking care constantly about them, even talking to the restaurant chefs to adjust the menus for us!.
We think we covered a big part of the most relevant National Parks to spot endemic animals, like Simien and Bale Mountains as the most impressive of them. The long list of mammals to spot were checked and most of the relevant birds too!! In Harar we experienced the early night session with the Hyena men, unbelievable!
The hotels booked had some up and downs but understanding that we were visiting some remote areas with a limited tourism developing, we were overall satisfied, all them were clean and with comfortable beds. Special remarks to Simien Lodge, Haile Resort Awassa and, on top of all them, Doho Lodge, an amazing place.
As a conclusion, the safari tour focus was great, the organization perfect and the value for money more than reasonable. Armaye is an excellent guide and organizer, but even more important he is a great guy!
My recommendation, if somebody wants to visit Ethiopia, is booking the trip with Armaye Tours, with no doubt!
