Because there is so much there to learn and its just Beautiful!

The trip of a lifetime!
The safari was an amazing and unforgettable experience. We chose to go to Ngorongoro crater and the Serengeti (6 days). All the hotels/lodgings we went to were great, clean and with great service. The food was also really good. We got upgraded by Noah (for free!!!) to the luxury tents resort on the west side of the Serengeti. This part was more quiet, had less game to see but it also meant that whenever we spotted something, we were the only ones there! We saw all the big 5 but sort of missed the great migration. Our guide was Robert and he was really amazing. Very patient, kind and had a keen eye for spotting animals. He also loved his job, which made our trip even more enjoyable! You can safely book with Wildebeest Safaris, both Noah and our guide were very professional.

Exactly what I was looking for in my African adventures!
Was very impressed and and happy with Barafu and my choice to choose them to make my Kilimanjaro dreams come true! Their professionalism and safety were unprecedented and because of them, my brother and I were able to conquer the summit. The Rongai Route allowed us to see some wildlife and also avoid the crowds. I'm not used to hiking with hundreds of people, the this was the route for us. Barafu treated their porters with respect and in return, they worked harder for us. I never once felt uncomfortable or in question of their service. Thank you Barafu for everything! We will be back!

It was excellent all in all. Joseph was super nice, he knew a lot about flora and fauna. We felt safe and comfy. Saw a lot of animals. Comunicatiobs with Kanuth where great. Totally recommend them!

Krueger, Swaziland, Mosambique - an african experience
We did AVOs first tour leading to Krueger, Swaziland and Mosambique with Erica, Ted and Wayne in Dec 2016.
The itinerary was amazing; from wonderful landscape, big wild animals to wonderful beaches we had a terrific tour.
Internet communication in advance with Erica was professional, quick and correct. On tour everybody always tried to help and to meet all expectations whenever some problems occurred. Even when some of the participants wanted to stay longer in one accomodation on Tofu beach AVO were so flexible to organize that.
The bus was comfortable, with good seats and AC, however it was not a Safari-Truck. So we could not go into the Parcs with our own vehicle but had to book the activity package resp. the extra tours.
Meals were good and always plenty, sometimes in restaurants , sometimes self prepared Braai.
You must know that eastern Africa is different, people tend to forget reservations, border contols take a lot of time, traffic is unforeseeable, roads are deviated all of a sudden...So you can´t compare to a European "Rundreise". It´s a long time on the road sometimes....usually 2 hours more than scheduled.
Customers should be prepared to help preparing meals, carrying their own luggage and packing the containers.
Some disappointment occurred because some accomodations had to be changed - especially places within the Krueger or the Hllane Parc with an own waterhole were changed to places outside the parcs, only situated in a nice landscape and some half an hour drive outside the parc. Others showed long faces because the evening safari could not take place or the ocean safari had to be delayed because of problems with the motor of the boat and booking problems. In the end most issues were solved somehow.
Since this was the first iteration of the tour we are sure that some of these difficulties can be avoided in following tours.
In the end: even if some things were other than expected, we enjoyed the holiday with AVO Orange!

A Christmas tour to remember
Everything went smoothly and in friendly spirit right from the beginning. We had a long e-mail exchange with Felistus long before our actual booking. She gave her replies promptly and to the point. She never showed any irritation, even at times we might have asked a lot of alternative programmes and some further questions based on these alternatives. This e-mail exchange helped us to sharpen our thinking about what we are actually looking for. Then this Christmas 2016 we finally had our family safari (Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru). Patrick was an excellent guide for us and with us. With his friendliness and expertise, he could guarantee us a holiday we will never forget. The parks visited were fantastic for spotting wildlife, too.
We are very thankful to both Felistus and Patrick for their excellent service to us!

Excellent service, amazing experience!
We got a safari for 7 people from December 29 to January 10, and we had the experience of our lives. In the first park, Serengeti, we saw most of the animals, was incredible to ride from one place to another for being able to see the action. After Serengeti we go to Ndutu where was also beautiful experience since the cars can get close to the animals, later we got to Ngorongoro where we where able to see the black Rinocerous that was the 5 big missing for us...we ended our experience in the elephant paradise of Tarangire with the great landscapes full of Baobab trees. I truly recommend Cape Dog Safaris and Michael Masonda for the Tanzania ride.

It was a perfect arranged 16 days à-la-carte tour by Stephen Ndavi.Traveling from Nairobi over Hells Gate, Naivasha, Amboseli, Tsavo West and East to Mombassa and Kisite. We had the chance to meet many nice and friendly africans in hotels, lodges, town and small villages on the countryside of North-East Nairobi. Stephen was our point of contact and from day one he has been very patient in understanding our needs and budget and interests. His proactive communication and never a delay to respond made it very easy to coordinate. Though we stayed on our own at Nairobi, he provided us with airport pick up & drop for several times!
Our tour guide Sammy was also very professional and made us spot almost all of the big fives! He and Stephen have helped us a lot with quick decisions and we were well taken care of all through the tour. Besides that Samwel Ndolo is a wonderful man who did almost everything to please us —even swimming while he can not ;-) and never crossed our privacy. Loved the fact how he kept the vehicle spick and span, was always on time and kept smiling meanwhile shaking his shoulders. I am sure we will stay in touch!
Highly recommend Kenya Safari Bookings for your Kenyan Adventure. No complains! Thanks again for making us have a wonderful experience.

To be recommended: Flexible, service minded company who really take care of their customers.
A great team who design the trip just for you, according to what you want to see and experience. Lots of information before you book and quick and efficient help if you need help along the way. Professional guides who know there stuff by keeping themselves in the know as to where to find the animals. Very high standard of accomodation offered on our trip. If anyone wants a referance, dont hesitate to get in touch.
