Wonderful people and easy to deal with
before our holiday to mombassa i did some research and found KT & Safaris. they had 5 star rating and reading the comments decided to book everything before going. I was so glad i did as we were looked after from the moment we got there, with text messages from Dickie explaining everything. I went to their shop on the first evening and paid up in full for my trips ( i had a bit of trepidation paying every thing up front but i need not have worried) Our first trip was a 2 day safari to Tsavo East and we were collected promptly at 6am. The roads in Kenya are little more than dirt tracks , so be advised your journey will be very bumpy.we had a very good days sightseeing , even catching sight of a baby lion cub which the mother had tried to hide in a type of rockery. Full marks to all the guides talking to each other and telling each other where to find the best animals. We saw Lions, Elephants, Giraffe and my personal favourite was families of wild Hogs with their tails that stand upright, even as they run hahaha. shame we did not see any leopard or Rhino but seeing the lion cub and whilst staying in our Lodge the elephants came up to the watering hole at dusk for a fantastic photo opportunity. For a western person everything is a bit basic but that all adds to the charm. Our driver could not have been more helpful. Dickie and Jameel were only a text message away if i needed them, which i did not.
We also used them for a day trip to Wasini island where i lost my camera and got bitten by mosquito's but that was not their fault it was entirely mine. even then they could not do enough for me and some of the guides all did some diving to try and find my camera. so full marks to them.
i would have no hesitation in recommending KT & safaris for any trip and advise people they can be trusted so just sit back and enjoy their 5 * service

Excellent Experience
Our experience booking with wildlife sun safaris was an excellent one. Working with James to customize our trip and arrange for all of our travel between locations was a breeze. We were able to stay longer in some places and get dropped off in the best location at the end. The accommodations were amazing each property we stayed at had an excellent staff and very comfortable rooms. The highlight of our trip was our driver and personal tour guide Jackson. He did an amazing job showing us around and ensuring we had the best experience. He was always on time and went above and beyond to make sure we saw the most we could. We will definitely be booking with Wildlife Sun Safaris when we go back!

Incredible safari with outstanding guides, amazing animals, and beautiful lodges
We just recently returned from a 12 day safari to Kenya and Tanzania. We booked through a company based in Tanzania and our time in Kenya was contracted out to Wildebeest Safaris. We were met at the airport by Mark, who was incredibly friendly and he took us to our hotel. The next day we met Rasheed. He took us to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the Giraffe Center. He was super patient with us as we stayed longer than most vistors. Rasheed also gave us a great recommendation for lunch that was just perfect for our group.
The next day we met Frank, our tour guide for Amboseli, Maasai Mara, and Lake Nakuru. Frank is extremely knowledgeable about the animals, was kind, courteous, and professional, as well as funny and conversational. He was also extremely patient with us, as we could not get enough pictures and videos of any of the animals that we saw. He kept in contact with other guides so that he would be able to show us as many animals as possible. He picked up quickly what our group was interested in seeing and tried to make sure we saw those animals. He knew the parks inside and out and was able to give us recommendations for picnic spots, the best locations for pictures, and restroom locations. He was conscious of the roads as well and tried to make the ride as comfortable as possible. We could not have been happier with Frank as our guide!
The lodges where we stayed were also wonderful. The staff at the locations were extremely friendly, outgoing, and courteous. We enjoyed our conversations with them and the beautiful views. The food was also very good.
Overall, we could not have been happier with our safari experience with Wildebeest Safaris. We had an absolutely amazing vacation due to their staff members. Incredible people! Thank you so much!

Magic Tour
It has always been our dream to go to Africa to watch animal migration. Mufasa's joesph gives us a lot of information about travel, which is very professional. The idea of joesph is also very dedicated and shows us everything we want to see.
Mufasa Tours is a good travel company that has met all our travel needs.

Outstanding trip to South Africa. Well-organized and planned. Couldn’t have gone any better!
This review is a bit overdue since we went on our trip in July, but I really do owe to Andre to recommend his company, since everything went off exactly as promised.
Our family of five, two adults and three kids (8,13,15) traveled to South Africa mainly to go on safari. My wife and I had been on safari in Tanzania in the past, so had an idea of what we wanted to do, but had no familiarity with South Africa. We relied heavily on Andre to make recommendations on our itinerary, game parks, drives, and accommodations. We were very pleased with what he suggested. Thabo, who accompanied us on the entire trip, was a very considerate, friendly and safe driver. We appreciated how attentive he was to our needs and the plan.
After arriving late in the evening in Johannesburg, Thabo picked us up to the airport to stay at Andre’s Safari Manor. Safari Manor is a very simple yet comfortable and clean little villa in the suburbs of Johannesburg. It’s where Andre lives. I think it’s mainly intended to be a place to overnight before you start your trip to the the parks or other destinations. Anyway, it’s nothing fancy but perfect for a short overnight after arriving or before departing Johannesburg.
The next morning we left Safari Manor and stopped at the Apartheid Museum for the morning. It’s worth a visit as it is very well done and interesting. We vastly underestimated the amount of time needed to really explore the museum in detail. There is so much more to learn than we were able to do in a morning.
Anyway, we then left to spend the day heading to Pilanesberg game park. We stayed in a villa at Kingdom Resort. Although it didn’t have the authentic “bush” feel of lodges where we’ve stayed on safari in Tanzania, it was just the perfect place for our family with three kids. The villa was very well-appointed and modern. Trust me, it’s really nice. Much better we expected. Food was excellent in the restaurant.
Andre booked us private game drives in Pilanesberg. We started with our first drive on the evening of our arrival, followed by several more game drives over the next couple of days. Our driver, Elvis, with Mankwe Gametrackers, was excellent. He was knowledge and motivated to find us all the animals we were hoping to see. In Pilanesberg, we were very lucky and ended up seeing cheetahs eating a kill, a leopard, lions, elephants and more. We couldn’t have had a better few days in Pilanesberg.
After Pilanesberg, we travelled to Hazyview. It was a long drive but that’s how it goes in Africa. We stayed at the Pilgrim’s Boutique Hotel. It was really a very cute place. Nice rooms. Great restaurant. And a cute courtyard. It was only for one night, as the next morning we did a private sunrise/morning safari at Kruger followed our trip to Kurula lodge. The morning safari in Kruger was a bit quiet in terms of animals. We certainly saw far more wildlife in Pilanesberg, but I think that’s not the typical experience. Regardless, we saw two lions eating a giraffe kill and another leopard. That’s actually pretty amazing. So, maybe we were already getting spoiled by our luck.
The real gem of our trip was the time spent at Kurula Lodge. This a private game lodge in the private game preserve region of Kruger. It’s amazing. Our family had the lodge to ourselves. The lodge is simply beautiful. It’s basically a luxury home with most rooms open to air during the day. The animals come right up the lodge as it’s basically a home built right in the bush. The staff are clearly focused on making your stay as perfect as possible. We had multiple private game drives with Jaco, probably one of the most intelligent and worldly guys you’d ever meet. He know practically everything about the local environment. I mean everything. His knowledge of every plant, animal, and insect is impressive. He’s super fun and informative. Every game drive was a captivating lesson in the whole ecosystem. The vehicle is a completely open top land cruiser. We were in the thick of elephant herds (who just walked right around us, inches away, without any suggestion of aggression or territorial behavior), saw two leopard with their kill in a tree over several days time and Cape buffalo herds we didn’t see anywhere else. It was awesome. Lions roaring loudly right outside our windows. We had a spotted hyena slowly walk into the deck(!!) while we were eating dinner. He thought he’s sneak up to look for a bite. Not a good idea, but it show how “ in it” is this lodge. Again, Kurula Lodge is awesome. Don’t miss it.
Finally, we returned to Johannesburg to fly home via the Panorama Route. It’s a long drive with numerous scenic vistas and hikes. It’s totally worth it. Check it out online. It’s exactly what you see.
Throughout all of this, Andre kept in touch to make sure everything was going as planned. Thabo was always available with us throughout the trip. He spent the days checking in with us periodically and driving us from park to park or the next spot on our itinerary. He was flexible enough to accommodate our wishes, but was very good about making sure that we were able to stay on schedule and do what we intended to do.
I highly recommend Safaris With Us.
A truly unforgettable experience making fantastic family memories.
Although we had been on safari in other parts of Kenya this was by far the best. We chose Beacon Safaris because Robert always replied quickly to my emails and worked with me to arrange this fabulous family holiday. Our guide and driver Daniel was excellent in making sure our safari experience was unforgettable. Knowledgeable and became part of our family for the week. Kenyas Masai Mara is breath taking and we saw all the Big Five in the first few days. Our two days at Nakuru Lake gave us the chance to see rhino and the flocks of flamingo on the lake. Flamingo Hill camp, Mara Sopa Lodge and Emayian Lodge were all welcoming and lovely places to stay. The food in all lodges was wonderful especially the Emayian who specialise in fine dining, they also had individual jacuzzis for each lodge. A truly unforgettable holiday.

Unpleasant experience and cheating happens
We had an UNPLEASANT experience in Wildebeest Safaris LTD. One of our tour guide, Peter, said he had the card issue for the payment, then he borrowed 300 USD dollars from us to pay the ticket fee for Masai mara National Park, which has been included in our travel fee. He guaranteed that he would return the money to us when we was back to Kenya 3 days later, but we have NOT gotten our money back until we finished our trip. During the trip, we waste a lot of time and stand under the sun to deal with this issue. After the trip, Wildebeest Safaris LTD said they will deal with the money issue and give us money back. BUT each time we asked for the money issue, they always have an EXCUSE, such as bank issue.
Wildebeest Safaris LTD does not regulate their staff properly, they even give all the money to the tour guide (including salary and traveling fee) before trips start. So in the worst condition, guides may throw all the clients away before the trips start and take all money away. SO for you guys want to travel in Kenya, you should take the consideration whether you want to take the RISK of using the service from Wildebeest Safaris LTD. And the guide can work for many companies, so they might take your money without any concern of losing job, like Peter in our case. Besides, communication between Wildebeest Safaris LTD and tour guides is very BAD. Two of our tour guides did not know our schedule at all.
