Dedicated Tour Guides FTW
5/5

I am extremely happy with my experience on safari with Africa Flash McTours. My mum and I set out with the hopes of spotting the Big Five on the Mara - we did that and so much more. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable (James), and very dedicated to giving us a great experience. In fact, after a successful day out in the Mara, James suggested that we do a safari of Lake Naivasha (despite our initial misgivings) and his suggestion proved to be spot on; the wildlife by the Lake was very different and definitely worth seeing. I heartily recommend Flash Mc Tours to anyone looking for cheap and good safari experiences.

Lots Of Birdlife & Rhinos

The wildlife seen within Nakuru NP complemented that seen in other Kenyan national parks. Didn't see any big cats or elephants, but plenty of zebra, giraffe, buffalo, baboons, warthogs, & a variety of antelopes. Highlights were the rhino sightings, adults and young.
Saw more birds (25+ species) here than elsewhere including plenty of flamingos, pelicans and other water birds (the lake level was very high such that several of the roads were underwater and impassable).
Definitely worth a visit.

Great Experience!
5/5

Moureen from Kay Adventure Tours and me met on Safari Bookings. We contacted before our visit in Kenya and she gave me a lot of helpful information. Arriving in Kenya we met in our hotel to finally book our tour and accommodations. Moureen gave us information about a lot of possibilities to create our trip. At least we booked a four day trip to Taita Hills, Amboseli Park and Tsavo East. We had a very nice driver who gave us a lot of information during the tour about the country, the people, the parks and the animals. It was an amazing trip for us. I will never forget and just can recommend to contact Moureen to plan your Safari Tour! On the Tour we also met a lot of kind people.
Thank you Moureen for organize our tour! I wish to come back again!

Surprise gem from our safari. First hour or two there wasn't much to see - but once we got to the far reaches of the park which our guide had told us were worth driving the extra hours for, we were not disappointed. We saw a really close up leopard, loads of elephants, beautiful scenery, lions in the trees. It was wonderful. I didn't want to leave.

An awesome safari experience in Kenya with It Started in Africa
5/5

We had a very refreshing tour of kenya this end may, first I wish to start with three people from kenya who made our first foreign tour a great sucess. We donot have the luck to meet our main savior from the company, Mr Helder who did everything possible to accomodate all your wishes ,our sincere gratitude to all of them. The other two wonderful people Carlos and Alex were our drivers cum guides and we all dreamt and wihed they be with us for ever.
It Started in Africa was very much helpful and communicatve since very begining, i.e when we were planning the trip. They help a lot in making the plans, arranged a pair of comfortable safari vehicles driven by knowledgable guides who were very thoughtful and protective as well. The safari plannings were excellent, as well as lodging and foods.

James organized a personalized safari and he has been very honest and patient because the safari was really personalized! Safari was WONDERFUL and the price was affordable! he was very kind with us so we arrived in Nairobi airport at 4 am and he come to pick us up and bring to the hotel in the night. The next day he came and pick us up from the hotel and showed us the main attraction of Nairobi. The next day The safari has begun!! it was wonderful. We had Charles as our driver: he was very professional and he knew every part of masai mara! We visited: 2 days masai mara, 1 day nakuru and 1 day amboseli. So, At the end of safari James come and pick us up from amboseli and BRING US UNTIL WATAMU with his car. he has been so kind and so welcoming! we felt like we were his guest and not his customer! I really suggest to everyone to contact James of Arch Treks safaris for every safari in Kenya and I want to tell he organize wonderful trek on KILIMANGIARO and I REALLY HOPE to come back in Kenya to go with him exploring Kenya From the Kilimangiaro SUMMIT!

Wildlife in my backyard

East Africa has an incredibly rich biodiversity, with variety of habitats such as the savanna, forests and grasslands, homes to the countless flora and fauna kingdom. Being part of the supercontinent Gondwana, many areas resemble the areas found on the western coastline areas of India.
We landed at Nairobi Airport and not wanting to waste time drove off directly to the Nairobi National Park which was about half an hours drive from the Airport.
Here we got the first glimpse of what Kenya beholds for the wildlife photographers.

At the parks entry gate we were greeted by none other than the Superb Starling, a beautiful bird showing off its metallic blue-green shoulder feathers with strong white eyes, later on I came to know this bird is quite a common and a nuisance sometimes, its found all over Kenya.

Bird species were a plenty at the Nairobi National Park, and we saw Pin-tailed Whydah, speckled mouse-birds, grey crowned cranes, bee eaters, egrets, Marabau storks, vultures, ostriches and many more.

Out in the open plains between small bushes we saw two young lions taking a nap, around some acacia trees we saw some white rhinos, one was with her young a calf, Masai Giraffes, Plain Zebras, buffaloes, Antelopes and Gazelles lazily moving around.

The two hours drive in the park drove away the fatigue of travel from India to Nairobi.

The Land cruiser driver cum guide was well versed with the area and the details of the vegetation and the animals seen, he was very friendly and cooperative and would stop and spot for us the well-camouflaged birds and animals of the area.

I would recommend that two sessions should be done at Nairobi national Park, one early morning and one late afternoon to justify it.
