Amazing Experience
5/5

My first safari trip to Tanzania involved a 14 day adventure organized and guided by Justin and Alex with Tembo Adventure & Safaris. We went in mid February. The trip lived up to all my expectations and the service and knowledge of Justin/Alex was outstanding. Our group stayed at 4 different lodges as we toured Ngorongoro, Ndutu, Serengeti and even a few bonus days on Zanzibar. All accommodations were a little bit different but all were amazing. Tea in bed in the morning listening to the birds and roar of lions in the distance as the sun comes up - doesn't get any better! Each game drive took us to different places and we saw it all. Justin's knowledge of the area and its wildlife was outstanding. We went to some out-of-the-way places to get away from the busier vehicle areas and were treated to some of the best wildlife viewing and photography opportunities one could ever want. Everything was well organized and went off without any problems even the picnics out in the middle of nowhere. Justin's good sense of humour and stories made every day one to remember. I would highly recommend Tembo Adventure/Safaris for anyone wanting to see this amazing country.

Far away from my last safari
2/5

I would never choose Karibu again. Their priority is to fill all the seats and make money. They are not worried about our experience. Tree cars left the agency on the same day with 5, 6 and 7 persons. People in the cars with 6 and 7 persons said they could barely move inside, travel was very uncomfortable and take pictures was possible just for the ones at the windows. The cars are very old. The roads in the parks are very bumpy and for this reason you just think how important is to have a good car when you are there. One of my lens released 3 small screws with the vibration and at the end of the trip my back was like crap. It is essential to have a good Jeep.
I shared the car with 3 young girls that spent 6 days taking selfies, delaying all trips and looking for ostrich. I was deeply interested in photography (the big 5 obviously). I love meeting people but in this situation... no match. If possible, avoid shared safaris and look for companies that personalise the safari. Freedom inside the car is essential. Our driver Zak was very good: good character, good person, good sense of humour and a good driver (very aggressive driving though). The food was very good and the camping facilities was good. The 6th day of safari was in reality just 2 hours inside the park. After lunch we were back to Nairobi. They avoid paying another entrance in the park (valid for 24hs).

Gorilla safari
5/5

This was a great way to meet Gorilla's. It is worth every penny! This Africa Adventure Safaris did and excellent job in helping me book the reservations. I sent many emails asking questions and all were promptly answered. When I left a phone number, I quickly received a call which helped me feel comfortable to pay a deposit a year before I was going to make the trip. We were promptly picked up at the airport by Eric who spent 3 days driving us around. He was a great driver. Olive and Bill were great in helping us make the reservations. Highly suggest this company.

The Best African Safari With Family!
5/5

Hi, my Husband and I went on a safari with Chris and Nicky a few weeks ago and are back home ready to plan the next one. What a Holiday! They checked all the boxes and really made us feel welcome, It felt like we were on tour with Family. The food was delicious, Good Wholesome meals that made overeating all too easy! The Truck (Truck Norris) was really exceptional, its fully organised from coffee machines to books. Its super tall too. It was hard not to feel extra important when all the other Kruger vehicles were well below our heads. We could see miles into the bush to spot game and everything was just so great. Chris and Nicky's combined knowledge is amazing and they seemed to always go the extra mile. Thank You, Chris and Nicky for a wonderful holiday! see you soon...

Kisima Tours operator chose the perfect lodgings, driver, and locations.
5/5

We were given constant updates and feedback via the internet with the option of phoning. Ms. Nganga gave us personal service all the way; she arrived with our guide/driver at the airport, reviewed our total trip upon arrival, and accompanied us to personal destinations from our past. Recommendations were needed for shopping and later lodgings and her suggestions were right on target. I know the guide was in constant contact with her. If a comment was made during the safaris, Ann would make the adjustments. We highly recommend your next tour to East Africa be with Kisima Tours.

Excellent service, competent guide
5/5

I did a 7 day Machame hike up Kilimanjaro and successfully climbed the mountain thanks to Tai Travellers. The email communication from the beggining was clear and responses were quick. They took care of me from the moment of my arrival to the time I left. Everything was exactly as we agreed in itinerary. No hidden costs and no unwanted surprises. They are very helpful and proffesional. I was satisfied and I would warmly recommend them to anyone thinking of doing the trek.

Amazing Experience
5/5

We had an awesome experience with Wildebeest Safaris. I would highly recommend booking with them! Before the trip our emails were answered promptly and in detail. Everything that was promised on the itinerary was delivered-we were even upgraded on two camps. There were no hidden fees once we arrived. Everything was taken care of from transfers to and from the airports, food and lodging.

We visited Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and finished off with Zanzibar. The land in Africa is far more beautiful than we ever imagined. We were in constant awe of the landscape. Plus, the animals! We saw lions, black and white rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, thousands of zebra and wildebeest, hundreds of giraffes, plus so much more.

We found the guides to be very knowledgeable and friendly. We were never put in an environment in which we felt unsafe. They knew an extensive amount about the animals and interacted well during the game drives. They each spoke fluent English and were able to educate us on local customs, traditions and people as well as local wildlife.

I found the camps were always great and the workers very friendly. The food was always fantastic, the hospitality was amazing, and I felt very safe at each stop. With this being my first time in Africa, I will look back fondly on the places we stayed and our experiences at each tented camp and lodge.

Truly a once in a lifetime type of experience.

Phinda Rock Lodge and transfers
5/5

Our package was organised by Adelle Bell, she was very professional and extremely helpful.
1> Transfer from Richards Bay to Phinda Rock Lodge: Safe and friendly driver, excellent service.
2> Phinda Rock Lodge: Fantastic, will definitely will recommend, Everything was excellent, The Safaris, the accommodation, the food and the special bush dinner. *****
3> Transfer to Durban Airport: Safe and friendly driver, excellent service.
4> Transfer Cape Town Airport to City Lodge V&A: The service was very good but terribly over priced when compared to the cost of a Taxi in Cape Town, the cost of that short ride was nearly as expensive as the accommodation and breakfast at the hotel.
5> City Lodge V&A: Hotel was nice but their restaurant only server snack type food for evening dinner and there are no other restaurants within a short walk.

Fantastic safari: Vumi and Eric for the win
5/5

My wife and I did a four day/three night camping safari in Tarengire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. The itinerary was well-designed to spread out the driving time between locations and optimize the game driving portions. Our guide, Vumi, was extremely knowledgeable and had excellent English. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. He knew the animals and birds and managed to site is everything we had hoped to see including two leopards, four prides of lions, a cheetah, a close pass by of a black rhino (though Vumi admitted that we lucked out: he said he hadn't seen a black rhino pass over the road bedside the vehicle in 5 years).

The vehicle and accommodation were nothing fancy but totally functional. The campsites were all very good: we had expected much less luxury. The first camp had wifi and all had showers, with 2/3 heated. The views at two of the camps were very impressive. There only thing we would do differently would be to try to camp at the first place rather than taking the surprise 'upgrade' to an 'African igloo' shelter: it was very stuffy and hot. We would have preferred a tent.

Eric, our cook, did a fantastic job. He was laid back and friendly. The meals were tasty, better than some of the nicer restaurants we tried in Tanzania! The quantities were all huge: more than we could handle!

Over all, we would recommend Vumi and Eric to anyone. We had a wonderful time and would love to go back!

The best wild experience of my life
5/5

This organization provides you the best service you can have. The guides are all local and they are very well prepared and they know the territory very well . Remind that you are on safari you cannot expect luxury accommodation or a full package of service. But with this organization you are supported 100% of your time
