Quick service, slow tour
5/5

Afroriginal gives fast and accurate service, is flexible and on time.
The tour is slow, the guide, shows everything, lots of interesting details.
If we go again: same Afroriginal, same guide.

Safari with David Maro - Kili Slope
5/5

Mr David Maro highly recommended on some forums as one of the best safari guides to Tanzania so we have decided to book with him our 10 days private safari tour. Now after completing our safari which was breathtaking we can say that the huge success of this trip was a lot to do with David professionalism, extensive knowledge, his great sense of humour and kind nature. David is a super nice person and a great driver. We recommend David without hesitation.

Superb experience
5/5

Very prompt and good service. The safari on the Governor's Camp was superb, accommodation and food was way above our expectation. The travel was smooth and on time. We recommend Vacay Holiday to everybody who would want to do a safari in Masai Mara area.

Stunning safari experience
5/5

Our safari in Ruaha National Park with Breakdown Safaris was just an extraordinary experience. First of all, Kathy and Fan are really great people - very warm and friendly, well organised. Kathy is a great driver, Fan's knowledge about animals, birds and nature in general is impressive! There's no question He wouldn't be able to answer, in our opinion. Everything was perfectly organised, from the very beginning to the very end of whole trip. We felt taken care of, safe and comfortable all the time. We saw a lot of wonderful and unexpected things in Ruaha not only because of some luck and circumstances, but also because everything was done for us and with respect to our needs. We had as much time as we needed for watching, taking pictures, resting etc. For sure Breakdown Safaris is the company, we can highly recommend to anyone who appreciate individual and friendly treatment, professionalism, well organised great experience of safari while everything that needs to be done is just to enjoy animals and nature and have a lot of fun. We are already sure that we'll be back for another stunning safari in Tanzania - of course with no one else then Breakdown Safaris. Kathy, Fan we thank you again for all you made for us, for the very best time we had with you during this short (unfortunately!) but fantastic trip!

Trip of a Lifetime. Wedding, Mountain and Beach
5/5

Having just arrived back in Canada last week, I am ready for Tanzania again. My new wife and I began planning a trip last year, to hopefully get married in Tanzania. When we contacted Java Safaris they took all our needs into consideration. From arranging our marriage in Arusha National Park, to climbing and sucessfully summitting Mount Meru, to our wonderful Honey moon relaxation in Zanzibar, Java Safaris excelled at it all. Our wedding was a dream come true, attention to detail in every aspect of the trip was far above my expectations. Catherine was such a great help with the costing of the complete trip and not to mention the endless research for the perfect Honeymoon spot. My thanks to everyone at Java-Safaris for the commitment to excellence in all respects.
This was my 4th trip to Tanzania and probably the most memorable trip I have ever taken anywhere in the world, bar none. To see some pics of our great experience go to the Java-Safaris Facebook page. www.facebook.com/javasafaris. Thank you Catherine and the whole crew for such an amazing experience. We look forward to our 5 year anniversary trip in 2021!!!

Great experience! Would definitely recommend it to others!
5/5

Better late then never. When we got back from our trip, we more or less were sucked into normal life but thought many times of writing this review because we loved every minute of it and think back often. We went on a three day Safari with Afrishare and it was really great! We had a tight schedule of travelling and really wanted to do a safari. Because nobody had booked for the same period, Ibrahim did his best to find extra people which would lower the price (group instead of a private tour). Thankfully he found one extra person, so it was more or less a private tour for a group-tour price :) Ibraham was very helpful and quick in his replies always. In the very beginning, we actually remember that we were doubting if it was all real, as we read so many good reviews for this budget trip that we could not believe it was real. So we promised ourselves to mention this in our review for other people who have doubts like us. It is all true, the value for money, the food and accommodation and good safari-car with a great guide in it. Our guide and driver Fredy was really nice and explained us a lot. We felt in good hands and had a lot of fun together! We actually saw 4 of the big 5 :) Sadly the leopard wasn't willing to show himself :( The camp where we slept (Heaven Nature) was very good for a budget tour. More than we expected, we were actually surprised. Good tents and the shower was more or less warm. After dining a few drinks on the terrace to end the day (yes the sell beers!). We can truly recommend going on a safari trip with Afrishare! Thank you Ibrahim, Fredy and the cook (sorry forgot his name).

A good Matoke Safari Tour experience
4/5

It was within one (1) month from our arrival date, that we were able to arrange our Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari tour. An example of good service.
With a polite, knowledgeable chauffeur/ guide with lots of patience it has been a wonderful experience.
The selected lodge accommodation with full breakfast, lunch and dinner provisions was good!!!
It was unfortunate, that our lunch on our return trip was not up to standard. No comparison with our lunch break on the way to the park. To conclude this brief description of our experience with Matoke Tours, we honestly can say, that it has been a good experience.

Extremely Enjoyable 3 day - 2 night Safari
5/5

The communication throughout the process from the initial enquiry right through to the day before we were collected was quick and detailed. We were given a number of options of which areas to explore and different accommodation types prior to booking and everything was organised for us by Ryan and Thale.

We flew in from the UK and stayed overnight in a hotel close to the OR Tambo airport, Ryan then collected us from the hotel the following morning and we drove to Kruger (with a stop off halfway for 15 minutes), arriving at Skukuza just after 1pm.

When we arrived at Kruger mid afternoon, Ryan sent us off to grab some lunch whilst he went and checked us into our accommodation. When we returned around 2.30pm our luggage was already in the room and we were then took on an afternoon safari, seeing a large number of animals and birds.

Evening meal was BBQ steak and salad cooked outside the accommodation by Ryan and his assistant which was excellent and we sat chatting and drinking the local wines under the stars.

Morning 2 consisted of an early start where we saw most of the Big 5 and Ryan cooked us bacon and eggs breakfast at a picnic area overlooking the river, watching the monkeys play. A good long day of exploring, seeing many of the animals and birds. We then returned to the camp mid afternoon where we were left to chill out and top up the stock of beers and wine.

Again, a BBQ evening meal outside the accommodation where we were given ostrich sausages and a local veg dish which was good washed down with some local brew. We were then surprised to find out that Ryan had booked us on a night safari, a nice touch. We completed our Big 5 list on this night safari, seeing a leopard walking around the park, sadly we didn't take a camera.

Day 3 we again took an early morning safari, checked out of the accommodation and took a drive back to OR Tambo airport ready for our flight down to Cape Town.

The service we received from Ryan, Thale and the rest of the team was personal yet professional, and Ryan's knowledge of the animals and birds (mating habits/diets etc) was excellent and added to the experience we got from the trip.

I would certainly contact Wild Planet Safaris next time I am looking at exploring southern Africa's wildlife regions and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to experience it.
