Great tour guide
5/5

The tour was arranged nicely although we had to switch a destination at the last minute with extra cost (It would be nice if the cost of the original stop could be refunded though.) due to security reason. The guide, Ruben, is nice and professional. He knows his way and made our trip an enjoyable experience. It was better than I expected. We were taken good care of from the time we got out the airport till we enter it for our return flight. Thank you!

Ngorongoro to see Rhino. We also saw different wildlife at vast dry land / meadow. It's on our way back to Kilimanjaro airport after Serengeti

Wonderful experience "Dancing with the animals"

There're plenty of wildlife and truly huge National Park. Our driver is also guide, who is very knowledgeable. The way it works is, they call each other once they discover something, e.g. lions about to hunt. My friend mentioned it should be paved road, well, I don't think so. The dirt road keep the harmony of the wild. There're plenty and different animals to look at. We visit Serengeti after Kilimanjaro climb. Couple things I like to advice other visitors. 1) sun protection (common sense) 2) we bring mask as October is dry season, very dusty 3) avoid blue/black color clothing as there're flies like to land on such color clothing, the bite will make you itchy. It's not migration season yet. But it is lion mating season as pregnancy is 11 months and new cub will be burned September next year which will give them 1-2 months dry season time to grow strong and healthy. We also stay in tent which is different experience in comparing with lodge, strongly recommend. The food is delicious and unlimited. I definitely will come back again during migration season.

Well organised efficient and caring.

The Safari Tour was awesome every detail of the travel was taken care of. Kenya is a beautiful country and Trevaron tours highlighted every feature leaving an everlasting impression. Our guide Simon was a charming young man knowledgeable about Kenya wild life and exactly where to spot and view the animals. Patient and warm. Recommend Trevaron Tours - will not regret it.

a travel agent who listens
5/5

I chose to book with Serah because she came recommended by a friend. I had never met Serah previously and all communication was done via email from my home-town Perth, Australia. It was to be a get-together of 4 old school mates and three of the spouses; One couple from the US, one from Malawi and two from Australia. Serah is the first travel agent I have come across - and we travel a lot - who actually listens to your needs AND attends to the requests. She was always mindful of replying in a timely manner to all emails. As the group co-ordinator of this particular trip my fellow travellers said it was the best safari they had been on. And these are all ex- Kenyans!
Without Serah's able organisation I am sure we would not have had such a delightful and memorable trip to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti National Parks. I cannot recommend Seraj highly enough.

Incredible experience
5/5

We had such a wonderful time. We went on our honeymoon with a private driver/guide (Mike) through Uganda for a week and then chilled in Zanzibar for another 4 days. Everything was perfectly organised and the lodges (luxury version) were the nicest places we ever stayed in. Our guide took very good care of us and shortly briefed us at the end of every day so we knew what to wear and what to expect the next day.

This has been our best vacation in our lives as of yet. Uganda is very special due to the close proximity of different types of landscapes. We saw everything from chimps to elephants, zebra's, warthogs, gorilla's, crocodiles, hundreds of different types of incredible birds, many different species of Antelope, and on our last day on Zanzibar even humpback whales which was breathtaking. When in Zanzibar we recommend to also take an Island tour with one of the local people as you see and can do more and it is not as pricey to do with the lodge.

In Queen Elizabeth Natural Park we were not lucky enough to see any Lions or Leopards however we were only there for a 1,5 day and that gives us a good reason to go back.

All in all we highly recommend going on a tour with Matoke

Absolutely Worth the Effort to Get There

South Luangwa is a bit off the beaten path but a rich reward for whomever makes the journey. Confined between a dense forest and a wide river, animals are plentiful in this park. I have seen more cats in one day then weeks at other flagship parks in southern Africa. I have made to trek's there because the photo opportunities and wildlife viewing are unparalleled; even in the wet season. I stayed at Mfuwe Lodge twice! The people, the food, the guides and the rooms are above and beyond. On my first night during my first trip we found a leopard in a tree right above us...amazing. On my first night during my second trip we came across a leopard moments before it took out a bush hare. It was over before I could understand what was happening. I love this park and will definitely go again.
