Fantastic Uganda Birding Tour
Mamaland provided an excellent 2 week birding holiday in Uganda. We had a brilliant knowledgable guide in Tony who was incredibly hard working and great company along with Ibrahim our highly skilled driver who both made every effort to ensure we had a memorable and happy trip. We visited 7 national parks in the most beautiful landscapes and adding the support of expert local rangers we were able to see almost 500 bird species and a long list of other amazing wildlife. Our accommodations were comfortable and we were always greeted with warmth and hospitality. Uganda is wonderful! I highly recommend Mamaland Safaris. The service was flexible, friendly, efficient and professional at all times and offered outstanding value for money. Thank you!

A big disappointing from the guide level
I have done dip research on the internet before booking with Bestday, and I Choose them because of there good rating.
We took the four days budget safari.
We saw a lot of animals and the national parks are amazing.
We have Good Luck as our driver/guiding, and I must say he wasn’t knowledgeable at all! I found myself reading from Wikipedia all the time to know a little bit more about what I’m seeing because it’s not just about seeing the animals it’s learning about them too.
Also, his English wasn’t clear at all.
In addition to that, he barely knew where the camps are and even didn’t know how to build a tent, told us that it’s his first time sleeping in a camp, although he said that he is doing safaris for already three years. Go figure it out.
Also, the camp equipment was poorly; I expected to have better chairs for eating. We were the only group that has this kind of chairs. Also, the sleeping bags were disgusting, and their zippers we're broke, so we freeze at night in the Ngorongoro National Park.
The only thing that I can't say that was good is the fact that we had Emanuel as our chef. My wife I and I are vegans, so he made us delicious food and also functioned as our guide when he joins us once to the game drive.
So, unfortunately, I must say, stay away from that safari company!
Excellent!
Absolutely amazing, very professional. Beyond expectation. Staff are friendly.
Would recommend them 100%
One very happy client. Keep up the good work.

An excellent safari experience!
We went for the 3-day Ngorongoro & Serengeti budget tour. It was a great experience from beginning to end. Our driver Patrick was very good to us and had a lot of knowledge about the animals and nature. The chef cooked amazing food, and made the stay at the campsites even better.
Thank you for an amazing safari-weekend!

Amazing 3-day Safari trip with our guide Joseph
Just returned from an amazing safari trip booked with Natural World Kenya Safaris. The company is very well organized from the booking on the website, to receiving further details through email and finally to setting up the pick up and drop off once we’re in Africa. Esther, who works in their offices, was very clear and great to work with in setting up our pickup from the hotel. Then our pickup from the hotel was very sharp as our amazing driver, Joseph M., had arrived early to make sure we wouldn’t be late. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide as Joseph is incredibly knowledgeable not just about the safari and all the animals but also about the city and culture around Nairobi and all of Kenya! We spent 3 days total with Joseph and in that time he was able to show us everything we wanted to see. A feat we didn’t expect to accomplish as, outside of the normal zebras/gazelle/wildebeest you see everywhere, we were able to catch a glimpse of: the 5 musketeers (cheetahs), a leopard, a couple rhinos and the infamous baby Tira (spotted zebra)!! Tira apparently migrated back to Tanzania the day after we saw her so it was amazing to get the chance to see such a rare zebra before she left the Masai Mara area. All in all it was an amazing safari experience and no doubt if and when we come back to Kenya we will be booking with Natural World and more specifically be requesting Joseph’s company again!

What an experience! Absolutely Amazing!
Me and my girlfriend, booked a RD Congo Tour, with Kumbukumbu Tours, and it was the best experience on our trip in Africa.
Obed was the best guide, he helped us with all the transportation, and was there everytime that we need him (Rwanda-Congo Border)
Virunga National Park is absolutely stunning! We stayed in Kibumba Tented Camp, which is a luxury lodge at the top of a mountain with a really nice view to the vulcanoes. The food was 5 star!! We could see the monkeys in the trees, from our tent. At night, we sat around the fireplace, talking with the other guests and staff, the people were so warm and friendly.. We did the Gorilla Trekking and were so close to the Gorillas (like 1 meter apart)... once in a lifetime experience! Highly recommend. The advantage of Virunga over other gorilla trekking experiences is that you can be sure of very small groups. In our case it was just 5 tourists plus the rangers.
Nyiragongo volcano: This is the hardest hike that we had ever complete, but it's absolutely worth it. The pictures can not come close to capturing the beauty and, for me, utter shock, of peering over the rim of Nyiragongo and staring a mile down into the most active lava lake in the world. After a challenging hike, there are few experiences more rewarding than gradually coming into earshot of the faint roar of Nyiragongo's summit. For those travelling here, remember two things: (a) in the summit, it's colder than you think, so have layers for after the hike; (b) stay hydrated and pace the way up -- it starts off feeling easy, but the slope only increases as you go up, and the volcanic rocks really starts to wear out your feet/shoes. The Virunga rangers are very patient, professional, and in complete control of the hike's route - I felt perfectly safe. Lastly, the porters, who assist with carrying items up the mountain, are Nyiragongo true heroes -- you can't thank/tip them enough for all of the hard work they put in over the course of two days.
In conclusion, I really would like to recomend Kumbukumbu Tours to everyone. The owner Obed is very professional and coordinated everything without any problem. He was so nice, helpful, friendly and welcoming for us, that we think we can call him a friend, after all. Good luck for the company, Obed. And we hope that we will see you again, in Africa or in Portugal.
