Heavy rains made lake level to high to access flamingo sites but still plenty wildlife to see. Large Buffalo herds.

I can say only one word = perfect organisation
5/5

When I decided to make a trip for Rwanda, I contacted around 10 travel agencies. Only Umubano Tours replied to all my questions very quickly. And for this reason I choosed Umubano Tours for realising this trip. My experience and my feelings have right. The organisation was perfect. My guide Didier also gave me a lot of informations about Rwanda, the life of the people. I visited a lot of African countries but this trip at Rwanda was excellent.

My favorite safari, no complaints.
Full immersion in the bush in a 4x4, accompanied by experienced Rangers (a driver and a tracker).
The feeling of seeing animals every 500 meters, and especially the joy of seeing the Big Five in one day.
Excellent park.

Experience of a lifetime, with a gem of a company
5/5

Myself and my partner, Magdalena, sincerely thank Joseph for organising the trip of a lifetime for us!

We went on a 4 day safari, including Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater - which was more spectacular than we could have imagined - and successfully climbed Kilimanjaro. Throughout, we were impressed by the company's attention to detail, local knowledge, and most honourable behaviour - while offering a very budget price. As a first time visitor, it was a most welcome relief to have these trips in their safe hands.

In particular, our Kilimanjaro guides (John Wilbert and Justin Kimath) were completely fantastic. No exaggeration - there is no way we would have made it without their guidance, support and care. They were all-round nice guys with deep knowledge of the mountain and Tanzania in general.

A most enjoyable experience, whose memories we will treasure.

Combined with a cruise on the Pongola River, it was especially a relaxing moment to enjoy the scenery rather than a discovery of species. The visit of the animals in the encampments, zebras for example, remains a pleasant moment.

It is difficult for me to evaluate the Kruger Park alone because my trip is to spend two weeks including three other safaris.
The fact of traveling in 4x4 of 6-8 people is appreciable, the diversity and the landscapes there are an asset for who want to have fun with his camera. Indeed, we had the great chance to see the Big Five (Twice on two safaris .... incredible !!!).
What sets it apart is the immensity of the park as you can stay away from the wildlife by driving long distances, or take the cross-roads to get close to it. Each species takes ownership of its geographical area, you can also target the ones you want to see by contacting the Rangers who keep each other informed of their migrations, and their knowledge is a wealth of information.
If this is your first safari, this is the must-see park and it will be necessary to devote at least two days to fill up memories.

Balance sheet:
A true happiness, this park is immense, truly immense; so it all depends on how long you stayed there, or the luck you have.
Trust the Rangers to understand and learn.
This park is necessary for the preservation of wildlife.
Little more, the month of January is calmer.
One thing is for sure, I would go back someday.
