Absolutely fantastic experience
We did the 5-Day Experience Tanzania in Luxury Lodges with World Tours and it was truly amazing. Our guide Felix was great - really friendly and super knowledgable. The standard of accommodation we stayed in was superb and the food there was really good - even the packed lunches they provided were of a high standard. The real stars of the show though were of course the animals and the spectacular landscapes in which they live. We loved every minute of this trip and would like to thank World Tours for taking care of us. First class!

Incredible, once in a lifetime experience
Seeing wild mountain gorillas in their natural habitat was an absolute privilege and a real joy. It is incredible how close you get to these magnificent animals. You are of course told to keep your distance in the briefing meeting - a minimum of 7 metres - but the animals clearly haven't been privy to this information and they'll walk right by you so long as you sit quietly and calmly. The guides that take you up the mountain are great - really friendly and very knowledgable as you'd expect.
Our trip was of course organised by Africa Adventure Safaris (AAS) and I have nothing but good to say about them, especially as our flight to Entebbe was delayed by 24 hours but Nicholas was so helpful in ensuring we got to where we needed to be on time.
Our driver and guide from Entebbe to Bwindi and back again was David - a very kind, friendly and knowledgable chap. I think he felt bad that we didn't get to do any sightseeing on the drive to Bwindi as time was against us, so on the return leg he took a very welcome detour around Queen Elizabeth National Park, which meant that as well as the gorillas we also got to see elephants, baboons, zebras and lots of antelope - a real and unexpected treat.
I wouldn't think twice about recommending AAS. 5-stars all round!!!

Excellent organization to experience a great safari/trip in beautiful Uganda!
We experienced a great trip with Katona end december 2015 to Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Our friendly and reliable driver/guide Richard picked us up at Entebbe airport for a day of relaxation in Cassia Lodge in Kampala (great view).
From the Katona office Jackie is a super liaison officer, with her we organised our trip via internet/E-mail, her communication skills are outstanding, also during the trip.
We visited Bwindi and encountered the mountain gorilla's and Richard aligned us with a children's orphanage near the Trekkers Tavern, a basic and wonderful place to stay. In QE Nat Park we stayed in Twin Lake Lodge, very recommendable due to its nice setting. The boat trip in QE has been one of the highlights of the trip.
Overall we'll recommend Katona Tours & Travel, and particularly the services from Jackie and Richard!

Caping Safari
Our family (mother, father and 2 children - 13 and 14 years old) were on camping safari and slept in small tents in Serengeti and Ngorogoro and we didn´t miss a thing! Mike (the owner) took good care of us from the arrival in Arusha airport to the flight back from Arusha. He is extremely service minded and he helpful. Our guide and chef then took good care of us on the safari trip. We saw Big Five and of course and a lot of other animals, we learnt a lot about all animals and at dinner time our guide also told us "scary" safari stories, very exciting especially for the kids! The food was also very good. And our chef was also a very nice guy! They both made the safari to a very nice trip. I can also really recommend the tent safari, you feel very close to the nature and it is really exciting at night time! We also want to recommend you to go with Northern Circuit Adventure.

Fantastic, well organized
My family and i, total 12 people applied with safaribookings. First time to Tanzania for all of us. We contacted 5 different operators and ended on Agama, best response and offer. The outcome was no different. A well organized private luxury 8 day tour was tailored for us perfectly. Comfortable luxurious accommodation, everthing according to plan as we had discussed over email. The guide who lead our safari was very skilful, competent and safe. We were fortunate enough to see the wildbeest migration which was truly amazing. We give many thanks to the nice couple who managed this for us. Hope to come again some day! We highly recommend Agama Tours and Safaris

Planning, execution and service outstanding
From beginning to plan our trip up to the trip itself, we experienced a super service. The safari was outstanding. Our driver guide was very friendly and had excellent knowledge of best places and of the animals. We learned a lot. The truck was secure. Due to the perfect driving experience we always felt absolutely save. The 9 days' safari were well arranged and fulfilled absolutely our expectations. Furthermore we were very satisfied with our cook. He managed with limited means to prepare excellent meals. Everything was in a timely manner without any delays. We enjoyed the safari very much and it will be an unforgetable milestone in our lives.
After safari we went to Zanzibar, also arranged by Sunset Africa. The stay there also was to our satisfaction. The beach hotel (NUR Beach Hotel) booked was perfect and we felt very comfortable.
We also appreciated to meet the Manager of Sunset Africa personally. So we had the chance to give him a first feedback of our impressions.
Due to our positive experience we made with Sunset Africa we warmly can recommend this Company for trips in Tanzania.

perfect-great-excellent trip to Mt. Kilimajaro with Homeland Adventure - highly recommend!!!
Homeland Adventure is an excellent company. Everything - from first contact, picking up at / taking to the airport, the 6 days climbing up Mt. Kilimanjao, to the past/pre accommodation - was very well organized. My travelling partners and me ( a group of four) felt very safe and well informed during the entire experience.
The service was great, the food was wonderfully, the equipment perfect and our guides were friendly knowlegdeable. Our expectations were surpassed by far. Asante Sana - Muksin, Jan, Moses, Praygod, Djuma, Suma, and last but not least all the Porters- for your company during the whole trip and to the top of Mt. Kilimajaro!!!! It was a guarantee, I would book again with you.
The Absolute Best Trip EVER!
Big Time Safaris offers budget safaris but I cannot imagine a better tour company at any price. I am a traveler and have enjoyed many tours but have never received such caring, thoughtful service as I did with Big Time.
Martha in the office went above and beyond to help me with even the most minor details. Boneface, a delightful young man and great driver, welcomed me at the airport and then picked me up at my hotel to take me back to the airport for departure. And then there was James, our guide/driver throughout our safari tour. He was so outstanding that our group dubbed him James Bond for his prescience, thorough organizational abilities and talented leadership, and ultimately for his dexterous driving skills.
If you're looking for a true safari experience and don't expect frills or ostentation, Big Time Safaris is the only way to go!

great safari and hiking tour in Tanzania
- Peter was a great and reliable organiser for our tour from 27.12.2015 - 07.01.2016.
- we booked everything with the internet and mails from Switzerland to him and it worked very well.
- our safari car was brandnew (7 seater for two people) and William was a very good driver and guide.
- the ice box was packed with free mineral- and sodawater and some wines ;-). All for free.
- we had only one small thunderstorm in Arusha NP and loved the climate and green landscapes after the short rainy season in the nationalparks.
- we saw a part of the migration (herds of 25'000 animals) in the Ngorongoro Conservation and around Ndutu aera.
- highlights were Tarangire NP and Ngorongoro crater with plenty of anmials. Next time we come for 1 1/2 days to Tarangire NP.
- the south and Seronera part of the Serengeti NP was very nice with all the high green gras, but not to many animals. We saw two times lions in the trees in Serengeti NP and every day cats ...
- highlights for the accomodations were:
* the new luxury tented camp Acacia in the Serengeti NP from Gosheni (we get a upgrade) was great and Anthony a very good cook. We been the only guest in the camp and enjoyed it very much.
* Maromboi Tented lodge (near Tarangire NP) and Ngorongoro farmhouse (near Ngorongoro crater) were very good with great food and atmosphere. Both had large rooms.
* Ndutu safari lodge was ok, good rooms. The dinner was not very good, but the breakfast with all the fresh fruits was superb. The landscape was also very nice.
- Lake Manyara NP was empty of animals. Next time we will stay longer in Tarangire NP.
- The Mount Meru trekking was good organised, but our guide has to learn a little more about the complicate park rules. We saw him the first and last day only in the mountain huts. We hiked up with a group of 3 other couples and had to "fight" with the officals from the National park that we are not a group of 18 people ...
- The trekking, the scenery and landscapes were absolutly georgeous and Robert our cook was great.
- Price/quality for the trekking and safari for two was very good.
Thank you very much for everything. All the best
Rainer & Susanna

Horrible Horrible Service from Hennie - Avoid at all cost!!
We booked a trip with Fleet Foot Safaris for 6D5N Vic Falls and Chobe National Park with Hennie last year in December. Once everything was finalised and payment was done promptly, there were delays in our vouchers and when the vouchers were given to us, we were told that the initial quote cannot be matched and there were reduction of activities given to us and no airport transfers for us!! It was explained to us that it was due to the changes we made earlier as there were supposed to be 3 person instead of 2. The initial plan was 3 of us and we were quoted with single sharing premium which doesn't make sense at all, we didnt want any trouble and wanted to make sure that was all the changes from the itinerary, Hennie confirmed that only reduction of 2 activities and no airport transfer. However, when we reached Chobe National Park, we were told from the resort that our lunches are not included as opposed to what's stated in the itinerary. We called Hennie and he told us he will only be back in office in a few days' time and by that time we will be finished with the trip and back home!!
Horrible horrible service from Hennie and please do not trust him on his final itinerary until you get all the vouchers. There are multiple shortchange and it was unfair to holidaygoers.
