Could not have asked for more in terms of wildlife and scenery - we lived the documentaries we have seen on TV. Weather warm but not too hot, some rain, lot of cloud, storms, drama, loved it. Accommodation variable but never below an acceptable standard. We travelled only by car and some of the roads are definitely mad and bad, particularly the road from Narok to Masai Mara. Our guide - Paul of Bush and Game safari - was fantastic. Favourite park: Amboselli.

Great organization and service by Easytravel
5/5

We booked our safari and Zanzibar trip with Matoke tours in Holland. The trip we got was far beyond our expectations and imagination. Our guide/driver Benedict took so greta care of us that we immediately felt welcome and home in Africa. He went out of his way to make sure we saw everything the Serengeti has to offer including a few live lion hunts, a cheeta kill, migrating wildebeest. a leopard and cub standing on a rock and an old male rasta lion. Five stars for Benedict, a young guide who knows all you want to know during your stay and who is very much fun to travel with and who works very hard to make sure you get your money's worth. Easy travel did a great job checking that we got the excellent service they are known for and that nothing could go wrong. Last but not least some praise for the Tortillis camp in Serengeti, a must place to stay over: great food especially considering the limitations and the most friendly team you will ever find. Super!

We booked with Ubuntu safaris after looking for a bit with other companies then we got recommended Ubuntu, and I have to say it was an excellent choice. Cuan did an amazing job putting our trip together. The service thru out Tanzania was excellent, from te camps, hotels, guides and drivers. Everyone went out of there way to ensure we had a great honeymoon. We got spoilt :)

Great “once in a lifetime” experiences with knowledgeable local guide. Overall great value!
5/5

Anyone looking for great experiences in Southern Africa should consider hiring Craig as their private tour guide. Being a native South African, Craig has local firsthand knowledge of South Africa past and present. He answered all our questions and educated us about 'all things South Africa' with knowledge and pride. His own enthusiasm was contagious! Our adventure in South Africa would not have been as seamless and positive if it wasn't for Craig.

Our family of 4 from Toronto, Canada had an incredible time with Craig as our private tour guide. We hired his company for 2 separate trips; a 4 day 3 night tour of the Southern Cape (including Cape Point, Oudtshoorn, Congo Caves, Private Game Reserve, Cape Agulhas, Hermanus and Betty’s Bay) and a 5 day 4 night tour of Swaziland, Kruger Park (including many hours of Safari driving) and the Blyde River Canyon.

Craig took care of all the details including itinerary, bookings, vehicle rental, driving and guiding. We appreciated that Craig drove us through spectacular regions, ensured we saw major tour spots, as well as, experienced special 'off the beaten track' places that made our trip so special. The best things about our trip were the many excursions, knowledgeable local guide, flexible itinerary and overall great value.

Amazing trip in Uganda!
5/5

I went to Uganda this summer with Cheetah Africa Safari and had an amazing trip! I had 2 guides, Robert and David and they were so good! They really took care of the whole group and I was not insecure at any time!

The safari tours were also a great experience and I saw so many animals! Elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippoes, lions, gorillas, chimpanzees etc. It was amazing!

All in all I am really satisfied with Cheetah Africa Safari and I will definitely recommend Cheetah Africa Safari to everyone!

Thank you for an amazing trip! I will never forget it!

Rivers of Africa Tour 2015
5/5

I had never been on a tour like this before but having done so now, I would recommend Absolute Africa highly to anyone.
The office staff were prompt and efficient in their responses and happy to help out with all aspects of your trip planning (insurance, flights, health, finances...) I felt organised and in safe hands throughout the booking process.
As for the tour itself, I can't rave enough about the crew. Our guide and drivers were all great at their jobs - both professional and fun - and made the trip what it was. Life on a truck can be testing at times but with a guide there to pull everyone together, it ends up being a huge positive part of the experience.
I plan to visit other continents next but if I was to return to Africa, I would have no hesitation in booking with Absolute again. A sensational seven weeks and I miss it already!

Excellent planning; friendly, knowledgeable staff; experience AND enthusiasm - safari of a lifetime!
5/5

Wild Wings Safaris exceeded all our expectations. Our first contact was with Clare who listened to our ideas before creating a customised package for us that reflected our interests and matched our budget. Having never visited South Africa before, we had plenty of questions and queries, all of which were dealt with promptly and helpfully. The safari itself was an incredible experience and far beyond what we had anticipated. From the small details, like checking in to each camp for us and escorting us to pick up points for other activities, to making sure each day was packed with amazing sightings, Simon was the perfect guide (not to mention an excellent and accommodating chef!). His vast experience was only matched by the genuine enthusiasm he showed for the inhabitants of Kruger National Park. Thanks to Simon, we had frequent and close encounters with The Big Five and much more, such as wild dogs, hyenas, honey badgers and nearly 150 different birds over a five day winter trip. Wild Wings Safaris provided us with memories that will last a life time, and we recommend them to all without hesitation.

Best budget option - exceeded my expectations!
5/5

I currently live in Rwanda and was looking for a moderately priced weekend wildebeest migration trip to Maasai Mara to celebrate my birthday. Titus was very responsive, helpful, and provided quick answers to my many questions. He arranged an airport pickup for me for a small additional fee and (since I was a solo traveler) found a group of other solo travelers for me to join. The lodging was basic but good, and the food at the camp was delicious. Our driver was safe, kind, friendly, and worked really hard to ensure that we saw everything - lions, wildebeest, zebra, crocodiles, elephants, giraffe, a cheetah, a leopard.... the list goes on and on. I didn't know that we would also visit a Maasai village (1,000 shillings - approximately 10 USD - goes to support education for Maasai children), but that experience is one I'll treasure forever. I am beyond happy with my experience, and have already recommended this company to my friends and colleagues. One tip: bring some warm clothing - it gets cold at night!!
