Help with iinerary and organisation of 26 day self drive tour of Zimbabwe and Botswana
5/5

First time to Africa and self driving through Zimbabwe and Botswana was more of a challenge than the 5 of us really expected. It all went well, a proper adventure - thanks to help from Ngati Travel. They went beyond what I would have expected from a Travel Agent. they provided support while allowing us to remain independent.

My Holiday in Tanzania
5/5

We saw a lot of wildlife, lions every day, and without exception everyone we met was welcoming and eager to give us a good time.We enjoyed the whole trip, everything went well, food and accommodation were extremely good and everyone we met was very kind and helpful. What was good was that we saw very few other vehicles when on our game drives, it was not like the Serengeti or Ngorongoro where there are often 20 vehicles around one lion!

A true gem in the travel industry
5/5

I cannot recommend Cardboard Box Travel Shop highly enough. My travel consultant was Lily. It started with a brief phone call (UK to Namibia !) and Lily suggested I detail my needs in an e mail so she could review and respond. Lily was outstanding. She was quite simply one of the best travel consultants I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She worked quickly and efficiently on all our requests. More importantly she was pro active rather than just reactive... a rare quality.. We had a brilliant trip - we will certainly use them when we are next visiting Namibia.

A tailor made safari within our budget. We're glad we found Edward !
5/5

We first asked Edward to arrange our safari week and we had specific requests : we wanted to see Masai Mara in Kenya, then cross the border (which we realized after is not easy to do) to reach Serengetti Park and finish at Ngorongoro crater. Everything went perfectly : Edward understood our budget constraint but he also managed to book the accommodation we requested (mid range tented camp).
I really want to highlight the importance of the driver on a safari ! I highly recommend Joseph to anyone going to Masai Mara. He was our driver there and he literally tracked animals for us. He is not only very experienced but he's also passionate about wildlife : he knows every corner of Masai Mara, the animal's habits, their favorite spots... He also avoided the crowds of cars filled with tourists which we very much appreciated!
If you are going to Serengetti, we recommend a night at beautiful Kati Kati. Amazing a place in the heart of the park !
If you are staying a few days in Kenya : Hell's gate is a great first experience to walk in a park free of predators. And lake Nakuru is a must to see the rhinos. Note that a van is necessary for a better experience there.
In a word : big thumbs up for budget Africa safari !

Overall...
5/5

Overall it is hard to see how the trip could have been better. The trip was just right for us in that it was fairly active but in non-intrusive luxury.
The team at Sfhub obviously know their onions.
Impala being on the River Rufiji gave a great amount of variety to the safaris. It wasn't a pampering experience - we were not looking for that - but fairly luxurious by most standards as long as you don't want AC, chandeliers and carpets. mAfia Island again suited us perfectly. It isn't really a beach holiday and again that is not what we were after. The island has a gently undeveloped feel
Amazing !

Request David for having Stanley as your driver/guide
5/5

First of all, the price they offer is unbelievably cheap!!!! Though the accommodations & food are very basic, but we never mind on those little things. We were there to cherish the biodiversity of Kenya and Absolute Holiday Safaris enriched us with lots of lifetime memories.

We had an 8 days' package in Kenya including Masai Mara,Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasa & Amboseli. Though they usually offer a 7 days' package in this circuit, but we requested for an extra full day in Masai Mara & David arranged accordingly. We were clubbed with different co-travelers on different national parks, but everything was on time & we had not to wait a long time for anybody in anywhere. David is a very kind & really helpful guy. 'Now our office is not you tour operator's office. It is your home in Nairobi.'- He said on the last day. And it was really that! Our trip with them was ended on 8th August and our return flight was on 9th evening. On 9th morning, we checked out from our hotel, kept our luggage in David's office & went to visit Nairobi National Museum. Though it was not included in our package, but David arranged a car for us to the museum & later dropped us on airport. And this entire arrangement was 'absolute'ly free of cost!!!

From the 3rd day of our trip, we got Stanley as our driver cum guide. He has immense knowledge & insight about animals & birds. He has good spotting capability and knows exactly when & where to stop the car to capture great wildlife photographs. Our one & only one complain about Absolute Holiday Safaris is all other drivers are not as sincere & efficient as Stanley. Having a good driver/guide in any game drive matters a lot. If any fellow-traveler is planning to book Kenya trip with Absolute Holiday Safaris, I will suggest him/her to request David for Stanley as your driver/guide.

Great Safari. Saw the Big 5
5/5

We had an overall wonderful experience. The guide was active and spotted well. The camp is basic but good for a short stay. They can work a little on service quality. The whole package is very good value for money.

Wonderful Adventure
5/5

Kili Boys were fantastic from the moment we landing in Tanzania. They handled our every need from airport pickup, lodging, shopping (SIMM cards to souvenirs) and of course climbing and safari. We made it to the top of Kilimanjaro with through the expertise and patience. They knew when to push us through tough moments and when we really needed to stop and rest. Safari in the Crater and Serengeti was as organized as the climb! What an amazing experience. I took my 12 year old son and have the trust and confidence in Kili Boys to recommend them to all clients regardless of age. Thank you Dismas and the entire team. We will return!
