The most amazing and pleasant wild life experience
Overall rating
4/5

Being the largest game in SA, the beautiful land, which borders onto Mozambique offers a magnificent scenery, being situated in the warm par of SA, Mpumalanga, the weather is always great which is also favorable to all the wild animals hosted by the game reserve. There are many hotels and guest houses in and around the Kruger and the one we stayed in offered was rightly positioned on the border of the Krruger river and we could still see some animals wondering along the fence. Inside the game game reserve we was a host of wild animals, birds, vultures and reptiles. We were able to see 4 of the Big 5 animals, we didn't get to see the Rhinos. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

Review about Masai Mara National Reserve by Gowri
Overall rating
5/5

Simply the best experience of birding and wholesome wildlife watching in all of Kenya. We got to see the big cats, elephants, all kinds of herbivores and such a rich variety of birds. The camps are inside the Reserve and even the stay in the camps gets you so close to the wildlife. We stayed by a camp at River Talek and saw a leopard while walking to the restaurant for dinner! What an amazing abundance of diverse wildlife!

Review about Amboseli National Park by Gowri
Overall rating
4/5

Amboseli is a great place to watch elephants, zebra and deer. Not such a great place for birding and hardly any big cats. But it's still worth a visit if you want to see huge herds of elephants in the backdrop of the lovely Kilimanjaro.

A scenic place for great birding
Overall rating
5/5

On a two-day trip to Lake Nakuru during the wet season in June, I didn't really expect much wildlife activity. But it was still worth a try because we were told that the place is quite scenic, a large tucked in a valley, surrounded by hills. That's not quite the stereotypical image of Kenyan landscape.
It rained in the afternoon when we reached our camp and the night was fairly cold. But the next morning was all clear skies and sunny, pleasant weather.
The birding was great and we even saw some flamingoes. Wildlife sightings were very satisfying too, we saw a family of the rare black rhino, giraffes, a couple of lion sightings and jackals. The rock hyrax was an unexpected delight.
The Flamingo Hill Camp is a comfortable place to stay. Maybe because it was the off-season, we saw no other safari vehicle and our time there felt quite exclusive. The lake looks spectacular from the Baboon Hill viewing spot. I would visit the place over and over!

Our family trip to Uganda was amazing, the landscape is stunning and interesting.
5/5

Matoke tours provided our family with an amazing holiday. The trip was really good value for money, accommodation was fantastic, much better than we thought it would be, we stayed in one place surrounded by hippos grunting all night! Our driver for whole tour was so helpful and polite, he really went out of his way to make sure we saw all wildlife possible. Seeing Gorrillas in their natural dwindling habitat was a highlight we will never forget and also trekking through the forest with Chimpanzees. We saw so may different birds I lost count ,a birders paradise. The people of Uganda are very polite and friendly it is such an interesting country.

Africa, Tanzania and a totally awesome Safari experience
5/5

Where do I start? I’d looked at taking a safari for quite some time but never quite gotten so brave as to book, but as time goes by you realise with our rapidly dwindling animal population it’s something you’re going to have to do sooner rather than later. After looking for a while at the various companies, along with studying some reviews I thought I’d give Java Safaris a whirl so sent off an exploratory email to see what they could offer me.

Their reply was both prompt and courteous and after a few more emails we had the skeleton of a plan (Safaris do take a bit of planning) armed with this I decided to book a 10 day safari. Java Safaris organized everything for me, going through lots of options of parks and accommodation styles and Catherine at Java Safari took plenty of time to answer all of my questions and allay any concerns that I had.

I was still a little apprehensive about such a big trip with this being my first time to Africa but from the moment I stepped off the plane at Kilimanjaro Airport until I stepped back on the plane everything was amazing. Java Safaris met me as soon as I have got my luggage and took so much care of me throughout the whole trip, giving me lots of information and making me feel totally at ease. Tanzania has so much to offer, it was beyond my expectations. All the accommodation choices were perfect and I was made to feel like a VIP throughout with amazing staff and excellent food. The game viewing was beyond words and the driver guide, Nixon, was just incredible with such animal spotting skills and vast knowledge, not to mention quite a sense of humor.

I cannot stress enough how impressed I was with Java and how professional they are with such attention to detail. Now that I have the taste for Africa 'll be going back, may visit Kenya or Uganda and would not hesitate in going straight back to Java Safaris.

Staying at Tlopi tented camp it felt so relaxed, surrounded by pure nature, observing birds and wild animals drinking at the waterpool, fabulous sundown and sunset and a clear starfull night. It felt so nice this solitude yet richness of nature. The safari from gate to the camp was a wonderful ride with all the zebra's, impala's, monkeys around. The accomodation was with all the comfort the visitor needs.
