Surpassed all expectations
5/5

Did the 3 day budget Gorilla trip with Encounter and cannot speak highly enough of them! Excellent and very, very rapid response time from Chris at the main office. Accomodation at Lake Bunyoni was brilliant, driver was lovely and they dropped me back off in Kasese (instead of Kampala) with no issues. Wonderful trip, great company would highly, highly recommend.

Amazing experience!
5/5

We could not have asked for a better safari experience. Moriti completely took care of us from start to finish. We saw incredible wildlife (lions at a watering hole at night, juvenile giraffes sparring for dominance, a baby elephant charging a rhino, a buffalo charging a lion, a honey badger, cheetahs, zebras, widebeests, buffalo, rhinos, etc.) and stayed at very comfortable lodges. The food cooked by Lindsey was out of this world. We booked this tour thinking it was a once in a lifetime experience, and we are already trying to figure out how to go back.

Fantastic Experience--Wonderful Guide, Delicious Food, Good Accommodations
5/5

Wild Wings Safaris vastly exceeded our expectations--from communication and setup with Madi to the guided experience with Simon. My fiance and I did the 3-day/2-night safari in Kruger National Park with Simon with origin from Johannesburg. Simon was very knowledgeable about wildlife and travel, and has an eagle's eye in spotting wild animals while also driving the open safari vehicle. Further, he knew the routes well and communicated with other guides to head toward an ideal location for spotting big game. He also prepared delicious barbecue-type/bush breakfasts and dinners for our group of 8 people. Everything went very smoothly and we cannot rave about our experience enough.

The only suggestion, unrelated to Wild Wings in particular, is to bring layers as the game drives can get pretty cold in an open vehicle, especially in the morning, and to also bring binoculars which are noted in the itinerary we were provided with ahead of time. Also, we stayed at Skukuza rest camp, and the internet at the restaurant was very poor, but overall, the accommodations were great considering we were staying in the park itself and could wake up and get a jump start on the early morning game drives.

Always flawless
5/5

This was my second trip with Savannah Tours and was amazing. Communication during planning and my trip was first class. The drivers were polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Traveled all over the country and from the beach trip, safari and airport transfers everything was worth every penny and a good value. For the part of my trip it was just my mom and I, and being two woman in a foreign country we felt safe the entire time. We saved for this trip for 2 years and don't regret going with Savannah Tours at all, money well spent for a trip of a lifetime.

Unexpected greatness
5/5

My recent trip to Uganda was fantastic. I had my reservations as everything was booked over the net and even after receiving many communications I still worried WHAT I had actually booked. I had booked the trip eight months before going so upon arrival I had forgotten what was written in my itinerary. As I was travelling in Africa I was expecting "less than I was accustomed to," and was very pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and beautiful places I was taken to. My tour operator Bern was full of knowledge about most things I saw on and off the safaris. He was extremely punctual and organised so I didn't have to worry about anything on the trip and completely left myself in his very capable hands. The holiday was one of the most relaxing I have been on as everything was planned and done for me. Finding luxury in Africa was very unexpected but thoroughly enjoyable and very much appreciated.
Thank you Bern and Encounter

Highly professional service and a truly wonderful safari
5/5

I found the service to be highly professional, responsive, helpful and thorough. All planning went smoothl. The small plane charters were all organised, the lodges were excellent and catered to all our needs above and beyond. Robert from Wild Africa Travel runs a great company and the on the ground support from Footsteps through Africa was excellent. Staying at the quirky Oddballs lodge in the Okavango Delta wilolo remain as a highlight of our travelling lives.

4 days of paradise
5/5

We were a group of 13 (4 chaperones + 9 students) and went on camping safari in July 2015.

Africa Tried And Tested were such great hosts and ran a very professional safari. We spent 4 days in Ngorongoro and Serengeti.

Cliff and his team made us feel welcome, safe and relaxed and we had a fantastic experience and saw so much!! The coordination and planning was top-notch, the food was amazing, the drivers were accomodating and knowledgeable....it simply couldn't have been better.

Africa Tried and Tested made us want to return to Tanzania again. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of going on safari, they really were outstanding in every possible way!

Our great 7 days tour of Uganda and Rwanda
5/5

We just finished a 7 days tour of Rwanda and Uganda and have nothing but praise for this company. From the beginning, they were prompt in replying, and helpful in optimizing our planned itinerary.
Our guide Tom was fantastic. His English was superb, and there was not a bird, animal He provided historical and cultural perspectives you just are not able to get from a guide book.
The company is nothing but professional and I highly recommend them - ask for Tom if you can.
Keep up the good work East African Jungle Safaris.

Heavenly....
5/5

This was a trip of a lifetime. Shaun our guide/owner surpassed all expectations. His recommendations for a bread and breakfast before the safari was perfect. Our lodging at Camp George were amazing. Comfortable and private room/ facility. All 5 of us on the trip were extremely pleased with accommodations and our chef Lindsay's scrumptious meals. Shaun not only explains the flora and fauna, but his obviously love of the land made the experience so intimate. His tracking ability was insane, how he hears animals from far away was truly amazing. One reason we went with Moriti was from a previous post. Yes, when you leave you feel like you've gained a new friend. I can't wait to plan another trip to see my friend Shaun and all the Klaserie animals.
