Infinity.....from the peaks of the park you can see miles and miles breathtaking scenery
Overall rating
5/5

Wildlife: enough to see like Kudus, Klipspringers, black Wildebeest, Cape Buffalos, Springboks, Ground Squirrels, Ostriches, Velvet Monkeys, 1 black backed Jackal and of course lots of the Cape Mountain Zebras.
The gravel roads are great to drive with your own car and they will take you to breathtaking scenery. Start with the Kranskoploop for the beautiful mountains, take a break and a swim at the Picnic spot and drive to Rooiplaat Loop to see lots of animals. Enjoy your stay!

Awesome experience, great guide Hamadi
5/5

Me and My friend Narsi took the tour to kilimanjaro and safari to serendipity with Hamadi and group. They are excellent host and very helping. They are cheerful lot with many people trying to make good conversations. They are reliable and trust worthy. They pushed us when we were thinking that we cant make it to the top. They gave us best food available. They provided us guidance as well to shop in Tanzania. The Safari was awesome and very neatly organised. They are very hygienic and professional in there approach.

I would recommend them for best safari personalised trip in Kilimanjaro. I would like to travel with them again some time soon.

Beautiful park with great scenery especially if you love elephants

Did a 2 day safari of Chobe in December and while it rained pretty hard on one day, we still had a great time. Plenty of animals (elephants, giraffe, buffalo, warthogs, etc.) and just vast beautiful landscape. We had a great local guide that provided great information. There's also a chance to take a river safari to see many hippos up close!

Wonderful experience
5/5

All communications with Speke Uganda Holidays in planning our trip was straight forward and useful. They were very obliging and keen to make our trip successful. Our trip lived up to expectations in every way. Our guide Robert was professional, informative, friendly, interested and committed to making us feel comfortable and enjoying our Ugandan holiday. The choice of accommodation was excellent and the trips in the parks were great.
Would recommend to anyone.

Do Serengeti and forget the rest !!!
Overall rating
5/5

We did Serengeti after we did Masai Marah.I had a lot of expectations from Masai Marah but it could have been better. We were seeing a million of Wildebeest and strangely there were dead Wildebeest in every corner of the Park.It was an indication that many which had migrated from serengeti have died here said the guide! It meant the carnivores are well fed.Our chances of seeing kill sequences was not great !But we did shoot a failed hunt by two lionesses at mara and i missed the Croc pulling down a baby Zebra during the famous river crossing as my VideoCamera was focussed with full zoom on another Zebra which was actually supposed to be gobbled up!!

Then comes Serengeti! The Wildlife doesnt hit your face like Masai Marah but there are many many cats in central serengeti. The park was crowded. We shot 9 Hunt sequences in 4 days. All failures:(One was so close-" i could have caught that Zebra" but the teenage male lion with a messy mane made a mess of it:P .In the end again bad luck struck us.There was apparently a Topi which was sleeping while standing (Topis sleep in standing position, they startle like us humans from sleep and start running!)This Topi was taken down by a group of lionesses in a swift pace .We arrived 3 seconds late on the scene :( Serengeti was a beautiful experience but we were unlucky ...Terribly unlucky and stupid of me with my camera .I had to bear some frustration from my better half as i missed the shot were the Zebra was gobbled by the croc in Mara !

Review about Kasanka National Park by West Tribe
Overall rating
4/5

The abundance of wildlife is minimal when compared to heavyweights like the neighboring (relatively speaking, it took me 2 days to get from one to the other) South Luangwa National Park. However this much smaller park has an ace up its sleeve. Every year around the end of October, through to early December about 10,000,000 fruit bats gather from across central Africa and watching them take off at dusk and return at dawn is an unforgettable sight. Along with that the birding opportunities are great.

Amazing and affordable.

There are innumerable advantages that South Luangwa National Park hold above the local competition, not least of which is the affordability of the surrounding lodges. I arrived from Lusaka via local bus for about 40.00$, another 25.00$ taxi fare got me to my lodge (flat dogs) and 20.00$/night secured me a cabin with 2 bedrooms, 4 beds, A/C, fans and a shower. Another 40.00$/game drive, night or day + 20.00$/day park entry fee and that pretty much covered my expense. Food at the lodges tends to be expensive (15.00$ - 25.00$) however a quick excursion to town will allow you to soak in some local atmosphere and eat at local restaurants for about 1.00$ a meal. The wildlife is by no means confined to the park, I often opened the front door to my cabin to find elephants standing within 20 meters, hippos, banded mongooses, giraffes, grey crowned cranes, fish eagles, vervet monkeys and baboons are all frequent visitors to the lodge and the list goes on. The park itself was great, absolutely packed with fantastic wildlife, one of the few to offer spotlight game drives at night and not too crowded.
