Good introduction to Safari from JNB
5/5

Found on the Internet, Go Safari has from the beginning been very helpful with lots of information.
The Pilanesberg park is a very good solution if you are on a business trip and want to get the feeling of wildlife close to JNB.
Combined with the elephant experience in the morning and you have a very good idea of what could be a longer stay in the region. Thanks again to Susan & Glenn

Review about Karoo National Park by rudyerasmus

Very quaint Chalets , along the rise ,facing towering Mountains and Valleys.
Dinosaur walk , plant Identification walk. It is the Park most used by tourists , coming from the Cape or going to!
But a short stay will yield many bird and animal species

Enjoyable and smooth PIlanesberg Safari
5/5

I enjoyed the the Pilanesberg safari. Joseph was a kind, knowledgeable guide. The open game drive was a good experience. Saw lots of game, esp buffalo. Accommodation was comfortable and the food was good. All in all a positive experience

Experience of a lifetime!
5/5

I went on Safari with Ibrah's company in early 2012 while I was volunteering in Moshi. My travel buddy and I took a 5 day safari. We were ably escorted for the trip by a very entertaining and knowledgeable tour guide, and quite frankly incredibly talented cook (I can still taste the amazing curry pizza!). It was an incredible experience, we saw all the 'Big Five' animals and camped in the middle of the Serengeti, and on the edge of Ngorangora Crater (which is the closest thing to the Garden of Eden I have seen).

I have no hesitation in recommending Ibrah and his company.

Great safari in great company
5/5

We (couple from Belgium) had a seven day long safari with Malengo Tours. Communication with us upfront was very good. We initally were unsure about paying half the safari price upfront, but as this is the common practice (the operator needs to book some places in advance) and the reviews of Malengo Tours seem positive, we went forward with this safari operator.
We were very pleased with the safari. Bakari, Amani and Milka were wonderful company. They contributed to making this experience smooth and pleasureful. The driver and wild animal guide managed to find the hidings of some wild animals such as lions and hyenas. We saw elephants, giraffes, impallas, gnoos, buffalos, lions, hyena and others.
Accommodation and breakfast, lunch and dinner were well prepared. Half of the time, it was the they who prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner (good cooking skills). We were a bit disappointed by the food offered by the hotels were the crew could not prepare lunch and breakfast for us, but that is independent of the safari operator.
Overall very satisfied by the experience with Malengo Tours.

A Very special Small Reserve with scarce Mountain Zebra's, in a fitting Mountainous Habitat!
Overall rating
5/5

This used to be a very small Reserve , which a lot of Tourists passed by , to go to better known Reserves, but since lots of expansion took place , became a really good destination , not just a stop over for a night , but at least for two or three nights.
The chalets are placed so that you have a view of the valley with browsing animals, nearby, Eland came close to our porch , while I was making the " braai" barbecue fire .
Camp sites are well kept , and with well tended Ablutions .
Weather is always good in April , and you could enjoy the magic scenery , of Far away Mountains , Grasslands and animals , on the High lying plateau.
The road network is well kept , even for saloon cars, and photography can easily be done from the window, as getting out of the vehicle , is not allowed , except in demarcated stopping areas .
Recently Research has begun on Cheetah's , and a walk with a guide with radio collar marked Cheetah , is a special opportunity.
Lions and Cape Buffalo has also been introduced , and although not a Big 5 Reserve, it has special treats otherwise.
Birding was very good , from Raptors, to Ground Birds, " Korhaans" Bustards , and Larks and Pipits.
In the camps a mixture of Bush Birds can be found, Wheatears, Flycatchers , Starlings and Robins. They are all habituated to movements , so are easily approachable and Photographable.
We did not need a guide , but the Reception helped with all the directions we needed.
And the Shop had the ample supplies we wanted to buy.
All in all , a very Good Restful Reserve to Shake off the Rush of modern Living!

Impressive!
Overall rating
5/5

The falls were incredibly impressive. Quite a sight! We enjoyed the wildlife both on safari and on the boat ride beneath the falls - though I was told that there were a lot fewer animals to see than in other visits by people who'd been more than once. It may be luck-of-the-draw because I had a friend visit the week before I did and saw 11 lions close up right after a kill and we only saw a few lions far away with binoculars. The nature of nature! :-)
