It was breathtaking. I didn't know my country offered so much fun.

African comfort Zone Safaris are excellent in time management. During my two week stay in Mombasa, my busy schedule in terms of sites visitation and movement was made possible by sheer handwork of there staff. Any detour from the schedule was communicated well in time. Thank you once more.

Absolutely wonderful Experience!
5/5

This is the second time i have Traveled with Cedarburg, i would never travel through Africa with any other company, and i am from Australia. We were looked after and had the time of our Lives. Mari always kept in Constant communication with us at all times .She made sure we were looked after and we were spoilt!. We never had any problems at all.The drivers and tours we did through Zimbabwe, Namibia and Kruger, made it very memorable.
I was so impressed i took friends back with me this time, and they had such a wonderful time, they want to go back.
All i can say is Thank you to Mari and her team at Cedarburg for taking such good care of us! what a great time we had, well be back!

Safari
5/5

My sister and I were joined with a fellow Australian traveller that we met on this safari. We went to lake manyara, Serengeti and ngorengoro which were all amazing. The trip was excellent, but don't expect it to be comfortable accomodation. It's mainly just tents and the meals are as you expect. Our cook, Gahd, made it delicious though and he made certain things that we requested which was very nice. The tour guide, Cosmas, was well knowledgeable and was excellent. Overall it was an amazing experience, being able to see all the animals (including all of the big 5) up close.

Wonderful, customized itinerary, and excellent service.
5/5

My husband and I traveled to Botswana, Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, and South Africa in August of 2015. We worked with Mari at Cedarberg Travel and she helped make our trip everything we'd hoped for. Mari was very knowledgeable and paid attention to what we wanted out of our trip. It was the experience of a life time, and the advice and service we got from Mari at Cedarberg made it happen.

Good experience after initial mishap
3/5

Day 3 and day 4: We had a good experience at the Mara, our driver Peter Kimani is knowledgeable and made sure we saw everything there was to see.
We received and accepted an apology and awesome complimentary dinner at the Carnivore restaurant, from our booking agent.
My husband and I in the end, are pleased with our overall experience and will consider using Palbina for future travel.
Thanks.
Lucy.

Seemed fairly quiet re the wild animals even though we saw lion, hippos, kudu and elephant. There was an elusive leopard around but we didn't get to see her.

We stayed at Little Makalolo camp. Our guide, Mike was excellent and the staff at Little Mak were terrific. We had a great time there. The camp is near a waterhole where there is a hide and we had some wonderful experiences viewing elephant and buffalo very close. What great photo opportunities that was. The food was good, accommodation excellent. One of the highlights was viewing lions being chased by elephant. We also saw a herd of Sable - not always easy to find. Definitely recommend Little Makalolo and Hwange National Park.

Although we saw quite a lot of wildlife, we did hope to see more but it seemed pretty quiet at the time we visited.

Jocky Tours - Very Good Value Budget Tour
4/5

After a lot of search for Budget Tours to Masai Mara, I chose Jocky Tours .I chose their 3 day Masai Mara Tour. I chose them because they were the cheapest tours available. I kept my expectations low. On Day one, We were picked up from a residence in Nairobi around 8am and was driven in a Toyota Van. The Van driver / Guide was an amazing driver. The roads in Masai Mara are a bit treacherous as they get very muddy during rain. Van is not a four wheel drive and one has to be an expert in driving in those conditions. We got to Masai Mara around 4pm and was immediately taken around for an evening game drive. Next day it was a full day game drive. On day three we left for early morning game drive and then headed back to Nairobi.
The Van: There was lot of mud in the seat. The tour company should clean up the van very well before picking up the guests.
The Camp accommodation: We stayed in a tent. It was clean, It had comfortable beds , mosquito nets. Electricity is available only for 4 hours between 6pm and 10pm and for about 3 hours in the morning. In night it is pitch dark. One should carry lights. The water in the camp is horrible. We were forced to skip shower for couple of days. Buy big can of drinking water from outside.

The Guide: The guide hardly spoke about the geography, the animals etc. However he showed all sorts of animals including a leopard which is hard to spot. All the drivers have radio and many tour operators share the information about animals with each other. The guy was very brave. He parked the van very close to cheetahs, lions as if he was parking them close to a dog. We infect took a selfie with a lion.

Food: Food was okay.

From Lake Victoria to the Vic Falls an Excellent Safari, wildlife, culture and fantastic people.
5/5

Just a reminder we did our first trip with Eastco 2 years ago and it was also fantastic, so much so we convinced 2 friends to join us for a longer African Adventure, and what an adventure it was.

Our first port of call in Tanzania was Dar Es Salaam hot and muggy to Lake Victoria, ditto and then through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Tarangire and an old favourite staying at Boundary Hill Lodge. New ground followed, Babati, Kolo, Dodomo and Ruaha before heading to Zambia, of course our aim was to see the two Victoria's. We did.

Eastco did an excellent job from start to finish, well planned, a well maintained 4 x4, great guides.

Lodges and camps exactly what we were looking for. Cold beer of course.

We loved Mbalageti a highlight and the crater.

The guest houses we stayed in while simple were spotless with great food.

I think we had a combination of luxury with the very simple.

The Victoria Falls after such a long trip with little mishap was a great place to relax and finish off a trip, that couldn't have run better.

Standing overlooking the falls and remembering all that history. I had recently read Livingstone's Missionary Travels in South Africa. The Vic. Falls were the perfect end to that part of our holiday.

I won't comment on the individual lodges and camps but enough to suffice Eastco did organize the trip of a life time, twice now.

Oh I forgot the wildlife, villages, small towns. historical sites I could go on and on.

But this trip was not so much about ticking off the boxes but taking in the sights, sounds and smells of Africa.
