Best of All Possibilities for a Safari Trip
5/5

I have to say that I did a lot of shopping around before picking Vic. He was the most reasonable with the pricing of our 4 person and 4 night package (from Mwanza to Arusha) and he not only delivered on what he promised, but he exceeded it. We were able to have a boat ride in Lake Victoria thrown in, he put us up in very nice lodges (the one in Ngorongoro has an incredible view of the crater!) Our guide was great- he wanted to make sure we were able to see all the different wildlife and that we did- over 20 elephants in Serengeti NP at one point, over 10 lions, even 2 rhinos in Ngorongoro Crater They cannot promise such sightings and it'd be unfair to ask of them for a guarantee, but they sure put in the effort to make sure practically that you do! The safari Landcruiser truck had 2 outlets in the back row that made it convenient to charge our cellphones and use them during down time. And the pop up roof top is a must. Having a water cooler was great for all the fruit we bought on the way. The only thing that could use improvement is the couple of lunch boxes that we had- but this is standard fare across all the safari companies. And we had hot lunches half the other 2 days at the lodges.

Before going w/ Vic, I wanted to make sure I could trust him enough to wire him a deposit, so I had asked for references. He gave me 4 different ones from different parts of the world and they had nothing but good things to say about him. Now, that my parents, wife and I had such a great experience through his company, I can see why! Thank you Vic!

Fantastically Planned Safari for an Unforgettable Experience
5/5

We just returned from our fantastic Safari in Tanzania! From planning to arrival the Safari Infinity team was great.

We were planning this trip for a few months, and planning involved lots of research on what tour company to go with. I scoured TripAdvisor forums for mentions of different companies as well as any other sources I could find. Based on what I found we narrowed it down to about 10 companies. We emailed all of them with our requirements: budget, timelines, and places we wanted to see. Safari Infinity got back to us right away with a great itinerary. Ultimately they beat out the rest of the Safari companies because they were prompt with their emails, they were not pushy, and they provided us a great itinerary with unique lodging that would give us the safari experience we pictured in our minds.

Since this was something we planned for months and months, we had many questions for the Safari Infinity team. We specifically communicated most with Augustine & Lucia. Both were great at giving prompt and thorough responses to all of our questions. Overall we had a great experience during the pre-trip planning.

Upon arrival to JRO Airport we were greeted by our Safari Guide, Kelly. I thought that was a very nice touch as it gave our group a chance to meet the person we would be spending so much time with. He was able to provide a basic outline of the trip and what to expect.

One person in our group arrived in Tanzania missing one piece of luggage. Kelly and the rest of the Safari Infinity team were great at not only tracking down the luggage but also getting the luggage delivered to us in the middle of the Serengeti.

Now onto our driver, Kelly, he was amazing! Somehow he was the perfect guide for all 5 different personalities in the car. He was extremely knowledgable about the animals we saw. He was especially good at crafting stories that connected the different animals we saw on any given day, to a holistic view of nature. We also couldn't believe his animal spotting skills, he would see things in far away places that I had trouble finding with binoculars. Kelly was great at answering our myriad of questions. We had questions about everything, and he was always able to give us good, thoughtful answers. One of the best things about Kelly was his passion for his job. You can tell he truly loves the Serengeti and Tanzania. He was also really skilled at understanding the needs of our group. Just when we seemed restless, Kelly had a stop for us where we could get out and stretch our legs. When we had a few early morning game drives in a row, he knew to give us a late start day. One of the most unexpected things about the experience was how much fun we had in the jeep with him. Joking around, asking him questions about his life, and in turn when he asked us questions about our lives, there was never a dull moment in the jeep. We even had an impromptu sing-along at one point during the Safari.

Overall the experience with Kelly and the Safari Infinity team made me fall in love with Africa. I can't wait to go back! My only concern is that I could never have a better trip than the one I just experienced.

I had a incredible experience. The guide was knowledgeable about the wild life and aboriginal people
5/5

Everything was well planned, from the start of the day to end. The guide was very welcoming and informative. The lodge was great and clean. The food was good. The wild life was amazing. The guide knew where to take us and was very patient with how long we wanted to stay and take pictures. We got to see the big five! I'm glad we went with this safari! I felt safe and comfortable. Thanks for the great experience!

Awesome Safaris, Good Customer Service
5/5

We booked on rather short notice. Our travel professional, Ashley did an excellent job of working with us to find the right venues and experiences. While there is a lag in communication due to the time difference, we did not that a problem. We'd email a question and always had a response the following day.

Serious honest and hardworking for a fair price
5/5

Communications, food service and accomodations was very satisfying. I hoped we had seen more animals, maybe the driver could have driven to more different places within serengeti. We drove a lot on the same area. At the end I was very comfortable wit meru treks! Thanks

Awesome Safari!
5/5

I went on a safari with Sham last summer and it was one of the coolest experiences I have had to date! Sham was the perfect tourguide- knowledgeable about all the animals, friendly and easy to talk to, willing to take requests, and extremely competent. The whole safari went off without a hitch- everything was taken care of for us- basically all we had to do was bring our stuff, show up, and have fun! The food was delicious, the scenery was beautiful, and most importantly we got to see all the awesome African animals (basically anything from the Lion King). This is a trip I would highly recommend, and Sham is definitely the guy to have as your leader!

Unforgettable experience of a lifetime, thanks in a large part to ISIA
5/5

Just returned from an 8 night 9 day customized safari with ISIA. Very pleased, great experience. Knowledgeable driver/guide and a great cook. We appreciated what they did for us and they were really nice to travel with. Some high points: Our guide, Isaac, really knew all of the animals and birds and where to find them. We saw all of the wildlife that we hoped to see. Our cook Obed (Ahbed?) was great. Good meals and friendly service all the time. I thoroughly enjoyed hiking from Empakai Crater to Lake Natron with our gear travelling on donkeys. I think we really saw Africa without "tourist" glasses on.

We did another safari in Kenya and ISIA was much, much better. If you haven't been on a safari before you probably need to talk to some people who have. If you're used to staying in nice hotels and travelling in air condition buses you are in for a little culture shock. We are in our 60's and found it to be a wonderful experience. Every night we slept in tents, sometimes with cots but often on a map on the ground (took one night to get over that!). Hot water was sporadic and bathrooms were very basic. This has nothing to do with the company you choose, it's just how things are in rural Africa. I'm not sure many of my friends would choose to travel like this, preferring catered, all inclusive luxury to a trip like this. Too bad for them. This was an unforgettable experience of a lifetime, thanks in a large part to ISIA.
All of the people we met in Tanzania and Kenya were very pleasant, polite and helpful. If you can say "how are you" in Swahili, you will be greeted with a beaming smile and a very friendly reply.

Two days in Kruger park with Bubezi Safaris
5/5

We went in with John, a guy who knows the whole park like its the back of his hand. He gave us detailed description of every animal we saw and also some more fun fact about the park. To make it even better is the communication between the other people in the Bubezi Safaris. This allowed us to spot some awesome animals and at the end even spot all of the big five!
Really good trip, really good people and awesome animals
